"I AM THE MAYOR! I AM WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AND WHAT I WILL ALWAYS BE!" The Mayor decalred. Then, in a surprisingly human voice, he asked: "And what the deuce are you talking about? I don't see a canary here."
Swelling like a great beast of the sea, the Mayor of Void City (For how could a normal human be mayor of a city where Gods and Angels walked?) grew and grew into a bulbous hulk of flesh and pus. Drooling through his fangs, the beast bled out of its eyes as it stared down this fool who dared intrude on City Hall and impolitely cut open his belly.

Night was confused, as all get out, his Aura sight was allowing him to see what was going on in the office. his ears drooped showing he was confused. "Ok, new dilemma, stay here, and fight Mr. snuggles, or go up to the office and figure out what's going on. Night thought.

"You don't know what a canary is-- oh, right. Humans. Right, the word 'canary' is a Doppleganger term for someone or something that can sense auras. We call them that because the most common creatures that can do that are canaries (thats the birds) themselves. Got it?" Ms. Dopple explained, not even flinching at the Mayor's monstrous transformation nor the slashing open of her stomach, which quickly healed.
The whole time she was fighting Fighter, Lili kept giggling, like it was all some kind of game. "Oh, how fun!"

"That's it." said Fighter. "I'm going to do this Zoro style". He pulled out a third sword and held in his mouth. "Letsh gao" Fighter said. He lunged forward at Mr. Snuggles. "Zodiakh Kenhido, Oksh!" Fighter raised two swords over his head and rammed into Mr. Snuggles.

Night made a choice he charge froward. he slid between the teddy bears legs and ran into the mayors office, how ever, before his got inside, he launched both a shadow ball and an aura sphere at Lili, not the beat she was ridding but the girl her self, before using extreme speed to get to the mayors office. he stopped just out side the door.

"I've been your secretary for years and you didn't care then," Ms. Dopple said in a bland tone. "Though I do need to get back to Bonsai Village before they get suspicious. I guess I'll get going." Lili managed to catch Fighter with Mr Snuggles and knocked him back, but she wasn't expecting the shadow ball AND the Aura Sphere, which both hit her right in the face when she turned around to look at Night. There was an audible crack when it hit, and then, an entire piece of her face just fell away, revealing what was underneath... a brass shell, much like a robot..  "...you broke my face..." Lili mumbled. |

Night took a deep breath as he readied a bone rush, gripping the bone like staff, he opened the door as gold eye's surveying the room, they widened at the sight before him.

"Oh, sorry; are you here about the water-treatment plant?" The Mayor asked upon seeing Night peeing into the room. "I'll get right to you-- I just have some slight business I have to take care of.
"YOU, MORTAL, WHO WOULD QUESTION MY KNOWLEDGE! YOU WILL NOT BE RETURNING ANYWHERE!" The Mayor screamed in a thousand voices at Ms. Doople, his mouth slowly unhinging itself. He was a beast wearing something vaguely similar to flesh-- nobody could actually look at his true, magnificent form, lest they suffer for eternity.

Fighter just stood there dumbfounded. "Whath th fuc?" he asked confused. Instead of going into further detail, Fighter shrugged it off and, instead of going for Mr. Snuggles, he threw a sword at Lili.

Ms. Dopple still stared at him. "Right, you do realize I'm an interdimensional being, and as such, am technically not mortal?" She sighed. "And besides, I have urgent business regarding a cartoon there anyways. I only came because I owed Lili a favor."
Lili started laughing. And then, when the sword flew at her, she didn't even bother to dodge. It just hit her forehead, and bounced off, just leaving a little crack.
"You're funny... don't you know that throwing swords is unreliable? A sword is heavier and less streamlined than an arrow, so it can't fly as well... trust me, I know these things."

Night came the closest to freaking since his partner died. the bone rush disappeared as he prepped another aura sphere. "What are you? and where is the mayor?" Night growled as us used calm mind, the aura sphere in his paws intensifying in power.

At the sound of Night entering, Ms. Dopple turned. "Oh good." She then lengthened her legs and stepped over the Lucario, and shoved him at the Mayor. "He's your problem now. See ya."
And then she nonchalantly walked down the stairs, heading for the exit.
