Shuuichi was quick to process the information. Actually, probably quicker that the rest of the group was capable. The vine belonged to a creature. He could tell it wasn't a demon, so it obviously had some kind of symbiotic relationship. He turned to Rax'aar, "It is generally considered polite to introduce yourself before asking for an introduction, but my name is Minamino Shuuichi."
He looked Aby straight in the eyes. Without flinching. An act not many people felt all that confident in doing. Let alone this confident, "I quite assure you I mean no harm. Is he correct in that the owner of the vine can get us out of here?"
Aby felt her skin crawling, but nodded. "Right. But..." she grabbed Rah-boy's wrist and lead him ahead a bit, "You go in front of us."
Shuuichi nodded, "Fair enough. I'm sorry if I startled you," he said as he took the side tunnel Rax'aar had made to end up ahead of the group.
Ivy yanked her vine back before Shuuichi could grab it, however. He looked up and perhaps the faintest traces of surprise hit his eyes. Too bad it was too dark for Aby to catch it, even Rah-boy depending on his nightvision. Ivy stared at Shuuichi for a few tense moments before lowering the vine.
"Venus.. Saur saur. Venusaur, saur?" ("I will... Poisonpowder you. So nothing funny, got it?")
Shuuichi nodded, setting Ivy even more on edge. Had he understood her? He carefully took a hold of the vine and she pulled him up. With one eye towards the purple-red haired boy she put her other vine down. No one who didn't know "Shuuichi" would realize it, but there was an unspoken conversation going on between the two through the vine Shuuichi still held... -----
"Hi-who? Can't be very old or strong, never heard of him," Suzu didn't have time to put much more effort into response before he began laughing, "You're kidding? Right?"
Yeah, he was laughing at Kuwabara...
Ginger took a few steps back, expecting a fight. She chose to focus her attention on Tarosuke, "My name is Ginger, if you haven't caught it yet. I assume you come from a world seperate from mine and the world those three come from?" Ginger nodded towards Yuusuke, Kuwabara, and Suzu.

A shrug was Ginger's response. "I guess so." He then lifted his hand up clenching it into a fist except for his index finger and thumb. "Though I AM a bit curious as to WHY that guy over there," He he motioned his head in Yuusuke's general direction, "Has an ability similar to mine."

Yuusuke, unlike Kuwabara, DIDN'T go all twitchy at the 'Hiei isn't strong' comment. He DID, however, enter twitch mode on the 'ability similar to mine' comment. In fact, his hands curled into fists.
"It's not similar! And if anything, YOU, copied ME. Or, the old hag, I guess." Yuusuke retorted. He was VERY READY to attack, until he felt something... familiar. A certain... energy. Was that... Kurama? However, it would appear that Yuusuke wasn't one for being able to finish an action...
"YO, KURAM-" Yuusuke was cut OFF, however, as Kuwabara decided to be an idiot.
"NOW I KNOW WHY YOU LOOK SO FAMILIAR! YOU LOOK LIKE THAT JERK SUZAKU!" Kuwabara exclaimed. Yuusuke would've warned him of how bad an idea that was, but... he kinda wanted to see Suzu's reaction.
"No way is his sword cooler than mine." Kuwabara thought to himself, finger still held out accusingly. -- "...jeez, are ALL earthling females this... odd?" Rax'aar questioned, gesturing upwards in Shuuichi's general direction. Yes. He'd just made a mistake perhaps LARGER than Kuwabara's.
"Do you wish to go next, or shall I?" Rax'aar questioned, one hand behind his back, the other reaching towards the outstretched vine.

Ivy stepped in front of the being she knew was named "Kurama". She had sensed him tense up over the girl comment, but he waved his hand dismissively, "I've had worse mistakes made back home. He'll be fine."
Ivy looked at Kurama for a moment but nodded and grabbed the wrist of whoever was closest to the hole. Which happened to be Rah-boy. As she was yanking a possibly unwilling alien up, she spoke to the yokai. To everyone else it would just be a string of her name. To those capable of understanding, however, "Do be aware I'm going to tell Aby this."
Kurama nodded as Rah-boy was rudely hoisted to the ground. Kurama looked up when he heard Yuusuke's voice, and a small smile actually hit his face... and then he heard Kuwabara rage. Suzaku? Kurama walked past Ivy and stuck his head out. He hadn't sensed Suzaku's energy... and go figure.
He was able to see the scene in time for Suzu to send a good electric volt at Kuwabara's chest. He had used a lot of energy and had a feeling the Spirit Detective would have something to say if he seriously hurt the annoying human. So it was more like a good electric jolt than a real attack Enough to let Kuwabara know he was not happy.
"I don't want to explain this anymore! Suzaku copied me! To get this sword? I swear you make that mistake again and I will set your pants on fire!"
He was actually doing a remarkable job of holding himself back, considering. However, he did let a bit of fire dance on his fingertips to prove to Kuwabara he was good to his word. Kurama was in his human form, so between that and Suzu's own rage, he missed both the energy and Yuusuke's attempt at getting the kitsune yokai's attention.
Ginger cleared her throat, "Is it possible you both have a similar position in your respective worlds? Would that not explain the similarities in powers?" Not that she expected either of them to listen but at least now she couldn't be blamed. Well, not realistically. It was quite possible one of the current group would try...

Tarosuke was possibly quite insulted at Yuusuke's comment, as he narrowed his glare at him. "Copied off of YOU?! How long have you even HAD that Rei-Gun PAL? I've had it for, as you've heard before, 200 years." He took his index finger up to his mouth and blew on it as if it was an actual pistol. "I've got seniority. So that makes YOU the guy who copied me."

Yuusuke didn't even have time to focus on the lulz that resulted from Kuwabara being an idiot. He was too busy being angry. He wasn't at eye twitch level any more, oh no. He was past that. He was at the level where he had his arm up in a position VERY familiar. Yes, he was raged up enough to fire the Rei Gun. Again. And he could count the blasts on his fingers at this point, meaning whatever energy surge the island had given him was gone...
...again.
And then a thought occurred to him. He could take out his anger on Tarosuke, possibly engineering more conflict. OR he could take out his anger on Koenma, whom he assumed was too lazy to come down and do anything about it, anyway. He chose the latter, changing his direction and pointing towards the sky-line.
"ENJOY YOUR STUPID PAPERWORK!" And then he fired, nicking a bird or two, which probably didn't help much with the paperwork.
Kuwabara, now on his back, merely saw a blue blast. He was really too dazed to focus.
"Alright. I won't kill you today. But let's get one thing straight. I'M not the copier, here." Yuusuke stated, turning back towards Tarosuke. He then turned in Kurama's general direction, remembering that it would be wise NOT to say his name around Suzu.
"HEY, SHUUICHI, WHERE THE HELL'S BOTAN?! THE LEAST THE REIKAI COULD'VE DONE WAS SEND HER INSTEAD OF KUWABARA!" -- "No, no, that's fine. I'm like one of your earthling toys, doesn't matter if you toss me around, I WON'T DIE OR BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR ANYTHING." Rax'aar fumed, remaining where he lay.

"Shuuichi" waved when it was apparently Yuusuke had finished raging. It generally wasn't a good idea to bother Yuusuke when he was raging. He looked back and saw Ivy had helped Aby out of the hole by now. The human woman was leaning over Rah-boy and rolling her eyes.
"If you'll excuse me for a moment," he nodded and made his way out of the alley.
Suzu looked up at where the blast had gone and sighed. Kuwabara was still on the ground. Ginger was looking ready to find a place to hide while the group raged and... he turned.
Kurama had paused and was looking Suzu straight in the eyes. The disguised yokai was well aware of Tarosuke and Ginger, but neither of them seemed quite as aggressive at the moment. Suzu actually... took a step back. In a rather dramatic anime scene moment, a wind totally blew uninvited through the area. And Kurama was definently assessing the situation. He turned towards Yuusuke, "I don't think we need to keep up the charade," the voice was a bit more... authoratative than was usual for Shuuichi. Not for Kurama, but for Shuuichi. Kind of a "serious" Shuuichi with hints of darkness.
Suzu chose the smart route and kept quiet. The kyuubi still had his vote out on the situation, and Suzu could tell. Then as suddenly as the tension occured it dropped. When he spoke again, it was the laid back relaxed tone Shuuichi was known for, "Actually, that was the plan," he indicated to Kuwabara figuring no words were needed to explain what had happened.
Aby turned to Ivy, who had tapped her on the shoulder. She said her name a few times and Aby shook her head. Yeah, poor Rah-boy had gotten forgotten while Ivy was trying to explain the situation to her trainer.
As for those who weren't fully aware of the past and Yuusuke's world, the boy Yuusuke had just called Shuuichi was putting off GADS of yokai energy. And anyone with any decent sense could tell that even at its power, it was very much in the way of muted...

"What... The... Hell?"
Tarosuke sensed the muted energy himself; being a chosen one of Buddha had helped in that account. He raised an eyebrow as he walked over to Shuuichi, taking him in. "Who are you anyways? You're energy is a little different then from the Yokai I'm used to kicking around back on my world."

"Are you... sure, man? I mean, I understand wanting to keep the identity secret and stuff. Well, if you say so, Kurama." Yuusuke responded with a wave of his hand. He then glanced in Tarosuke's general direction.
"You... do realize that Kurama could eat you if he wanted to, right?" Yuusuke asked, curiously. Well, it was more likely that he'd use a venus fly trap thing, really, but... THERE WOULD BE EATING, DARN IT.
From his spot on the ground, Kuwabara could only mutter one thing. One thing in his out-of-it-ness. As if the author couldn't spam the phrase enough.
"Easy, easy, easy."

Kurama turned to Tarosuke, "I'm best known in the Makai as Kurama, but I do ask you respect my choice to go by my human name of Shuuichi in the presence of those who don't know me," Oh yeah, more of the blended voice and stance going on there, "Yuusuke, I think some of your newer friends are still in the ally." Fully Shuuichi gestured towards the alley, where some familiar shouting was occuring.
"Rah-boy, get up already! She didn't shake you up that badly!"
Shuuichi allowed himself a small grin, even a chuckle, although he didn't say anything beyond that. Yuusuke didn't seem to take it well when comparisons were drawn between himself and others. And he was probably right in assuming it would be taken even less well if he were to compare Aby and Yuusuke.
As for Kuwabara, he wasn't worried about the other teen. It was quite possible the tall teenager was more stubborn that Yuusuke. Not tougher, but more stubborn.
Ginger approached Kurama slowly, trying to will the hackles on her back down. Shuuichi turned towards her, "You're the kitsune Urameshi-kun spoke of, correct...?"
Suzu actually paled. He was thinking along the lines of, 'Don't use now for the time you need the debt repayed. He'd cream me...' He kept his focus on Ginger. He could maybe tackle her if she tried anything stupid...

Really, the small yokai didn't know what to make of Shuuichi, he seemed powerful by the look and feel of him... ... ... Probably best not to try anything stupid.
"Well the name's Tarosuke." he bowed a little, "I'm a special Yokai hunter sent to this world by the will of Buddha the wise." He frowned a little. "I'm not really all that happy with the notion, given I'd rather be hanging out with the angels in Heaven, but a punishment is a punishment after all."

"Tsk. FIIIIINE. Don't help me up, then." Rax'aar replied to Aby, getting back to his feet.
Really, you just CAN'T ruin the theatrics.
"I didn't use those terms." Yuusuke turned to Ginger, a small scowl forming. He didn't exactly LIKE words being put into his mouth.
"Looks like the gang's all here, eh Urameshi?" Kuwabara finally found his way to his feet...
...only to be knocked down again by another blow from Yuusuke.
"We wouldn't HAVE to be together if you hadn't have mussed up the plan and let Botan come, idiot." Yuusuke growled.
"Hey... Suzei, you feelin alright, man?"

Ginger actually glared at Yuusuke. It was not anywhere near nice. She planted her feet, half expecting a fight to occur only for Kurama to seem to... ignore her?
Fact was, Kurama was well aware the question was more of a rhetorical one than a real one. As such, it needed no answer. Suzu took the opportunity to glare at Yuusuke, "I still don't get why he isn't ripping you limb from limb," muttered Suzu. Which did get a response from Kurama.
"You're rusty. How long?"
Suzu blinked, "Wha?"
"You know what I mean."
Suzu scowled, but made a point of aiming it at the ground, "I don't know. Since before this Spirit Detective business started occuring."
"If you were aware of the situation, you'd know things have to be handled more delicately. Also," this time it was a full out turn towards Suzu and a very slight flair of yokai energy, "I consider him an ally and it would be in your best interest to not threaten him."
Flat. And dead serious dangerous. It was a side Yuusuke had seen only once and Kuwabara was kind of dazed during. When Kurama was deep in the fight with Karasu. It wasn't a threat. It was a statement of fact. Suzu twitched, obviously weighing his options, but finally tsked, "Fine."
For those paying attention to the ground around Shuuichi, the grass had seemed to point towards Suzu for a second, but it returned to its normal position as Kurama calmed down.
Ivy held out her vine to indicate that Rah-boy should go first. Aby ran out of the alley ahead of them, keeping a good five feet away from Kurama as she spoke, "Hey, are you really some kind of plant controlling demon fox?"
(OOC: Okay, I simply have to pause so the rest of the group can jawdrop at how forward Aby just was. XD)

Tarosuke noticed it too. "Yeah, I saw it too..."
He looked up at Shuuichi, "So what kind of Yokai are you anyways? Some kind of Earth element one? Your kind is pretty rare where I come from." Tarosuke didn't find Aby's forwardness strange in the least. It was possible that where he came from, Fowardness was just taking notice of things.
He's old fashioned that way.

"Get out of the hotel, she says. Dig a hole, she says. WALK UP TO THE DEMON FOX THAT COULD KILL US ALL IF HE FELT LIKE IT, SHE SAYS." Rax'aar raged in silence. Low whisper was low.
"Hey, it's not my fault if she dies." Yuusuke stated, tossing his hands up dismissively. He chose to back up ever so slightly. EVER. SO. SLIGHTLY.
"Right, well, if anyone needs me, I'll be sitting here." Yuusuke finished, sitting on Kuwabara.
Yes. On Kuwabara. On his back, really.
