She then said, "And you, little colt, can join us whenever you feel like it; we don't bite."
She then resumed speaking to Taokaka without skipping a beat. "You seem quite strong."

Being suddenly addressed where he hid took the colt completely off guard. And startled, he jumped in mid air, accidentally stumbling out of his hiding spot. His wings locked up in fright for a brief moment, and he landed awkwardly on the grass. Looking up, he smiled awkwardly, not really knowing what to say right now. At the very least, these forest natives didn't appear hostile...

Tao looked a mite confused concerning the green haired youkai's concerns, and even more so when she mentioned something called a 'colt' being nearby. What was a colt? She didn't see anything nearbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy-
Ah, there it is.
".... Cooooooool!!" She looked to Yuka with a wide smile. "That was soooo cool, Green Hair Lady! How did you know the horsie was there?!? Do you have a good nose too meow??"
She was giggling excitedly at what had just happened, obviously excited.

Yuka smiled. "No, Taokaka, I don't. I used one of these." With a flourish of her wrist, a Sensorflower appeared in her palm. "I can control plants, dearie. This is a Sensorflower; a breed I created. It can sense things nearby and I learn what they do."
She then turned to the little Pegasus colt, kneeling down. She smiled sweetly at him and, ruffling his mane a little, said, "And what's your name, little one?"

Yeah, she was definitely friendly. Though, Sensorflower? No wonder he felt so watched! He never heard of plants with those kinds of magical properties before. Then again, he wasn't a horticulturalist or a unicorn/anyone else who used magic, so he wouldn't know much on either subject. Well, then she did say she created it, so... Yeah, we're getting off the subject.
"Oh... My, um, my name is Scoops," he replied in a somewhat quiet tone. "Do you live here?" It was only when he stumbled out into the open that he noticed the house not far from where they were, which made the answer quite likely yes. "I didn't really know anyone lives in the Everfree Forest." With a shrug, he added, "Well, other than that Zecora zebra. She rocks."

Tao looked in wide-eyed fascination as Yuka explained what it was her plant could do... It sounded really fascinating- "YAY for Psychic Green Hair Girl!"
.......... And of course, her explanation went COMPLETELY over her head. She really did try to understand, and she managed to get some of it... Just not the right parts of it. "That's so AWESOME meow!"
When Scoops introduced himself, Tao looked the creature up and down trying to think up a name for him. Sure Scoops was nice and simple, but it JUST wasn't descriptive enough for Tao to help her remember. "Heheheh! Nice to meet you Paper Pony, meow!"

Yuka just smiled a little at Taokaka's antics.
She then turned to Scoops. "You said 'Everfree Forest,' yes? You're from Equestria, then..." Yuka thought to herself, 'It's been a while since I've seen that world... a good few years anyway.' Yes, Yuka had been to other worlds. A Youkai with her level of power couldn't be satisfied with just one world to visit.
She said, "I'm sorry to say, dearie, but you're not in Equestria any more... You're in a dimension where all different worlds meet." She stood back up. "My house is over there; if you'd like, we could talk more over tea in there."

The young pegasus shook his head in confusion, "Wait, dimensions... What? .....Hang on..." He tried making sense of all this. "I'm not in Equestria? I didn't think I was wandering that far through the forest..." He frowned in contemplation. ".............Didn't think there was really anything beyond Equestria, for that matter..."

Equestria? Everfree Forest? To be honest, Taokaka had absolutely no CLUE in the world what Paper Pony was talking about...
But oh well. He was really cute looking! That counted for something! "Awww! Paper Pony is SOOO cute meow! Tao likes him!" Without any clear warning, the Cat-girl picked up Scoops, to get a better look at him. "Don't you worry Paper Pony! Tao will look after you like a big sister, meow! You don't have to be scared!"

Yuka laughed lightly and started to walk back towards her house. "Come now, Taokaka, I believe you might be scaring the poor dear." She smelled the air for a moment and said, "Hm... I believe that Mokou is making her Yakitori... I'm a little surprised she's up and moving already..."

Pulling away from Tao with a shiver, Scooped turned to Yuka with an awkward smile and nod. "Er... yeah... That sounds like nice idea," he said, keeping his distance from the crazy cat lady (no, not that kind). "What's Yakitori? Is it a food? 'Cause I'm kinda hungry..."

Tao's attention was caught immediately when she heard Scoops say food. "Food??? Food where??" Almost immediately after, her stomach rumbled more then hinting at her own apparent hunger. "Paper Pony is right meow! And neow TAO needs food! Tao's hungry meow!"
She quickly followed after Yuka and Scoops, hoping to keep up with them. "Green Hair Lady? Do you have Meatbuns?" There was a small spittle of drool lining it's way down her jacket. "Tao LOOOOOVES Meatbuns meow!"

At Tao's excited actions, Yuka calmly picked Scoops up and carried him in her arms. "I don't believe I have meat buns, Tao... but Mokou's Yakitori is quite good." She then said to the colt in her arms, "You probably wouldn't like it... it's skewer grilled chicken. Don't worry; if you're hungry, I have various vegetables and fruits around the house."
She walked into the house, Scoops still in her arms. "Mokou, I'm surprised you're up and about already..."
Mokou turned from the grill to the newcomers, smiling despite her bruises. "Yeah, that's one of the benefits of that Elixir... besides the Immortality, I mean. I recover pretty quickly."
Yuka smirked, set Scoops down, and said, "I would imagine so. A lance through the chest and then blowing yourself up and it only took a few hours to recover..."
Mokou stepped away from the grill for a little bit and said, "Oh, and who's this little guy? He's a cutie." She went back to the grill and said, "It'll only take a few more minutes."

Scoops resisted the urge to make a face, but something sounded disturbing about a chicken skewered and grilled. But some veggies and fruits did sound nice. Maybe they had some hay, too.
The colt Yuka carry him into her home where they met up with her friend. Whoa, she had some kind of elixir that made her immortal? And... Yikes, what kind of insanity did she recently get herself into!

Tao's mouth started to water when she heard that Yakitori was well cooked chicken. That sounded like a meat right there! And when the group of three arrived at the house, the smell she was picking up definately meat based. "Mmmmm! That smells sooooo goooood meow! Tao wants some!"
She rushed over to the grill to watch the food cooking, the smell was so good it was starting to drive the kitty cat three kinds of kooky. "Is it done is it done is it done? Meow! Tao's really hungry meow-meow!"
