"Myushelle. You go and find the others. The pony and I shall speak to this... Celestia and Luna." With that, Anna's body began to shift forms. Druid magic itsself allowed a variety of forms, but the bird form was not big enough to carry a pony. During archaeology in Uldum, she came across an old Tol'Vir recipe for something known as the Vial of the Sands. When an alchemist had managed to recreate it for her, she discovered a special magic. Her form changed into that of a mighty sandstone drake, a rather dangerous looking creature of rock and sand, and she looked at Vinyl. "Climb aboard, pony. Do not fret. My body is imbued with magic that will keep you connected firmly with me. Just point me in the right direction and I will make haste from there."

((Since Pseu said she'll be joining when she can, I figured I'd temporarily rejoin to set up Big McIntosh for Applejack to find.))
Stepping into market square, the big farm stallion set up the apple stall and planted himself down behind it. Within a few minutes, one Ponyvillager came buy and purchased a small bushel of apples, paying the appropriate amount of bits before heading on his way.
Keeping his ground at the apple stall, Big McIntosh kept his eye out in case his elder little sister showed up and maintained an impression of a relatively uneventful day for the sake of the unsuspecting others.

Twilight smiled gratefully at Derpy's motion, and nodded. "Thank you Derpy, thank you very much." With that said, she motioned to the door, "Now get going! There is a lot I have to do and Spike needs to get that letter quickly!"
Once Derpy was gone, Twilight quickly looked to the box holding the Elements of Harmony, and magicked them into her saddle bag. She briefly looked at it... "Okay, let's see, I think that's everything we'll need..." ............
A second later, she pulled the Elements of Harmoy's chest out of the bag and placed several protection charms on it. Now no-one would be able to take the chest away without her consent. "Okay... Play it safe." And with that, she put the chest back into the saddle bag, and placed the saddle bag on the nearby table. "That should be everything." Thinking a second, she let out a sign and magicked up a book from her collection. "I guess now I wait for Applejack and Rarity..."

Starting to get accustomed to the weird mess these new people could do (which worried her), Vinyl climbed onto Anna, feeling herself held fast. "Canterlot is north of here! Just go, I'll direct you."
Derpy nodded. "The thanks are well received and thank you too!" She giddily flew off, straight in the direction of Canterlot. If Twilight watched her as she flew off, she'd've seen her flip upside down and nearly hit a tree. But once she was up and away, she was okay.

Anna nodded and beat her heavy wings, taking off effortlessly into the air. No doubt, however, this would get the attention of the Twilight's Hammer cultists down below. They would take time to set up, but they would recognize a sandstone drake from their native home. As Anna set herself northward, she could hear a roar behind her. "It's never easy, is it?" she asked, looking back to see a cultist riding after her upon a black drake. "Brace yourself." Anna swooped down towards the forest, aiming to lose the drake in the trees. Having experience in such movement, she was able to effectively elude the branches and plant-life easily. Her opponent was not so lucky. Losing him in the canopy of trees, she continued moving towards the north and noticed a kingdom of sorts up ahead. "Is that it?"
Myushelle rode up upon the three as they wandered Equestria aimlessly. "Finally... I've found you."
"Thank goodness too," Helena replied, holding Emeraldi still. "If anyone can convince Emeraldi to go back to Azeroth, it's you."
"We're not leaving."
"What?!" Helena looked stunned. "So you're taking up for her?!"
"I am not. Shit has just hit the fan. Anna and I have found a contingent of Twilight's Hammer cultists in the forest."
"Are you serious?!" Emeraldi's eyes widened with horror. "Myushelle... what are we going to do?!"
"Anna's taken one of the locals. They're going to gather the help of those goddesses they mentioned. We, on the other hand, are going to head back to the village and prepare defenses there. With any luck, we'll be able to hold them off."

As Twilight read her book, and odd feeling suddenly struck her...
Huh?
What was this odd... Energy she was feeling?
And even more then that... HOW could she feel it? Sure she remembered studying energy signatures and how to feel them... But this...
"Huh?"
Looking to the window, she trotted over to it to have a better look.
No matter how much she wanted to ignore it... Some odd feeling creeped up her spine... And this feeling came from Everfree Forest, and it JUST WOULDN'T LET UP.
"What is this... Feeling I have?"

"Yeah, that's it," said Vinyl, whose voice was a little shaky. Despite Anna's reassurance that she would stay on, she still leaned forward and clung onto the girl as hard as she could.
She'd never approached it from the air before. She'd DJed for a few parties and gatherings here, including one for Princess Celestia herself a few years back, but she hadn't been to Canterlot in over a year. It looked... smaller from the air. She glanced around. Everything looked smaller...
... except for a gray pegasus flying right toward them at high speed. Upside down.
Vinyl reached forward and grabbed Anna's neck, trying to rein her toward the right. "Look out!" she cried out.
Derpy slingshotted past them, slowing down to marvel at whatever it was she just slipped past! Whoa whatever that was it was so cool and weird! But the mail had to be delivered especially now more than ever before! She sailed into the Canterlot royal chamber, causing a few crashing noises. Hopefully everyone was okay in there.

Anna knew what she was doing, but even then she was caught off guard by the upside down gray blur that was Derpy Hooves in action. How in all the years Malfurion Stormrage has lived does one even MANAGE to fly upside down? And with near perfect ambidexterity at that? Shaking off the confusion, Anna continued on and dropped Vinyl off at around the same area Derpy moved in before turning into a bird via druidic magics. Landing, it was only when she was firmly on the ground next to Vinyl that she shifted back to her natural Worgen form. "Alright. This Celestia and Luna... where do you think she would search for them first?"

Back in Ponyville, Twilight had stepped out of her library to have a better feel of this odd energy she was feeling...
As she did, her mind went in many different directions at once. What was this energy she was feeling? Why did it scare her so much? The only thing that scared her as much as she was now was the whole plight with Discord...
No... This scared her worse...
And what was more? She couldn't understand how she was able to feel it. She had understood the basics of sensing spiritual pressure but had yet to actually put it into practice; missing Spike helped in that regard. Sure she was good at magic, but...
Grrr, her head was starting to hurt...
Well, whatever the case was, she could tell something fishy was going on.

Vinyl stepped off gingerly, looking around. Strange. There were guardscolts posted everywhere the last time she was here. Now there were only two, on the other side of the room, and they didn't seem too concerned at the sight of them. Now why would that be?
She quickly had her answer. The door to their left opened, and darker-themed guardscolts stepped through, forming an entourage for none other than Princess Luna.
She seemed very concerned with something, and yet determined. News of the encampment in Everfree Forest had her worried for the safety of Equestria. She and her entourage were about to go there and attempt to lure them away with illusory magic and the like, hoping to bring a nonviolent end to the situation. Her sister had been away for quite some time, having left to investigate the occurrence, which also troubled her.
Had something happened to Celestia? Either way, Everfree Forest was their destination. One way or another she would end this problem before it began. She frowned. If only Celestia hadn't sent Twilight and her friends away on other business. They would be really helpful right about now. So would the Elements. What worried her the most was that the fate of Equestria currently seemed to rest in her hooves. What if she failed?

Anna watched as the Princess came out. A mane like stars and skin black as night... she must be the goddess of the moon. Jumping into the open, she stood tall and unafraid, despite the fact that she was technically infringing upon the inner private sanctums of one of Equestria's princesses. "Are you Princess Luna? If so, I come baring a message. My name is Annalissa from Azeroth. The encampment in the woods is manned by a cult known as Twilight's Hammer, an enemy to all in my world. They unleashed a great terror upon our land and caused a mighty cataclysm that tore it asunder. We wish not to see that happen here."

Back at Ponyville, Twilight continued on her way down the road, her glowing horn guiding her towards Everfree Forest. However, before she could cross the bridge, she stopped short, looking out to the forest... She wanted to continue out into the forest... But if her horn was pointing her towards the portal Spike traveled through, she wanted to wait for Rarity and Applejack before she set out.
Her horn kept on twitching with magic, as if it was trying to warn her of something... ... ... A second later, Twilight ignored it and shook her head. She didn't want to go in too early, there was the possibility of accidentally stepping into the portal.

The guardscolts were quick to position themselves between Luna and the apparent intruders, but she waved them off. They took their places at her sides again. "Who goes there? Thou art intruding on royal..." She stopped herself. "You're in our palace," she said, trying to use the modern tone. It was difficult, now more than ever. Stress tended to cause her to regress. "And we are already aware of this encroachment upon the land of Equestria and are taking measures to stamp them out. Our goals are one and the same. If you have any extra information on them, it would be most appreciated..." "Princess Luna I have something for somepony in the royal family!" A voice called forth as Derpy extricated herself from the corner she'd gotten stuck in. She was dizzy but shook her head to clear it and trotted forth to Luna. "I have some letters to the editor for your sister but I missed her. You can take them for me I think!" She reached into her mailbags and took out the messages Twilight had given her and closed her eyes again, enunciating clearly which message went to where. The scroll with the letter had to go to Spike, wherever he was. Which she thought was silly because he was supposed to be with Twilight so maybe it was a letter to herself? She shrugged. Someponies did that, but mail was mail no matter how pale! Or... something like that. Luna smiled, taking the messages. One was addressed to Princess Celestia, which she read in her sister's absence. (Message is here) So, Twilight still hadn't left yet? If Spike managed to message back in time with an answer of where to start looking, she would send a letter off to Twilight as well. The princess thanked Derpy for her services, and the pegasus was infinitely grateful for the praise. As for the other letter... It was a message to Spike, so Luna did not read it, though it was also attached to a letter to Spike from Rarity. Interesting. Nevertheless, calling forth what magic she had, she sent the letters along to Spike, them vanishing in a black and purpley fire. Hmm. Spike might not be used to getting letters from her. It might have a funny feeling to it... Oh well. Vinyl, who had watched this entire scene, wondered what she could possibly do to help against this apparent cult that was setting up camp in the forest. All she had was sound magic and a bunch of DJing equipment. Then again... The coolpony started to get an idea, a grin spreading across her face.

Anna blinked at the pony referring to her as an intruder. When all the mail business was done, she blinked and began to speak. "If you want extra information, I shall do my best to provide. The Twilight's Hammer cult is a dangerous group of individuals who wish to see the worlds they come to destroyed. They already attempted to destroy our world of Azeroth and odds are they will attempt the same here. They draw their powers from entities known only as the Old Gods, chaotic beings whose evil and malevolence rivals none. Even the great Titans who created our world and the deities we follow could not destroy them, only seal them away. Each and every cultist you will find in that forest has sold his or her soul to these devils. I can tell this world is very peace driven. The energies around it before our arrival were harmonious and, quite frankly, I wish whatever force brought us here didn't. But do not go in thinking you can convince them to leave. Do not go in thinking you can simply divert them. They are destroyers... and so long as they live, they will destroy and kill everybody and everything they see."

"We will attempt our nonviolent means of deterring them," Luna responded, though with a dismal look. "However... if they fail, as you are quick to assure me... then... I worry for the fate of Equestria." She looked out the window. "Fate, it seems, still wishes to punish me for my deeds a thousand years ago. Celestia has vanished, Twilight Sparkle and her friends are gone, and it seems that I'm in charge of... defending our own land when surely its fate couldst be left to better hooves than mine own..."
The guardscolts tried to get her to lift her spirits, but Luna's face was that of defeat. She'd already given up. Even that was a failure in her own eyes, for what kind of ruler abandons hope of their people?
Vinyl felt bad for the princess, and for the time, she kept the idea to herself. Anna probably wouldn't let her go back to Everfree Forest right now anyway. She didn't know what else to do, so she looked to Anna, hoping she had a plan for cheering the Princess up.
