Anna noticed the sad look upon the alicorn's face. She did not know what kind of pain the other went through, but she looked like everything was hopeless. I can't blame her, she thought. Our enemies have come out of nowhere. Her people are not violent, and such a thing is to be idolized, but... She shook her head lightly. "I know not what deeds you have committed and I cannot judge you. However, your regret shows you still have care for your people. If you love them, it will show. Many think to keep tradition, but you'd be surprised at how willing they are to break it for what they love. Besides that... you will not stand alone."
"These monsters came from the world of me and my compatriots. In a way, it is our responsibility to make sure they do not repeat the actions of the past in this world. We shall stand or fall with you."
Emeraldi and the others returned to the village, but they noticed a couple of blackened spots on the horizon. "Are those what I think they are?"
"There's not enough time!" Myushelle replied. "Start setting up barriers, I'll try to set up as many anti-magic fields as I can and Lunessa, you set up magical wards."
"Should I go and divert them until Anna gets back?" Helena asked.
"No," Myushelle replied. "They're probably scouts. Let them come closer, then engage when they arrive. Lunessa and Emeraldi will shoot them out of the sky and we'll engage when they are grounded. We can interrogate them for information."

The farm stallion was starting to find it increasingly harder to keep a calm face, but he managed. A few more customers had purchased Apple family goods over time, and he politely thanked them as they moved along. Still no sign of his sister; McIntosh was starting to worry in the back of his head that maybe A.J. had already disappeared to this 'Dimensional Island' like the missing ponies and Spike; it was always a possibility.
Off in the distance, Big Mac could see black forms starting to appear over the horizon. Unlike the natives of Azeroth who'd experienced it before, he had no idea of knowing what it was. But he still had a sadly justified feeling that whatever it was... it was very. bad. news...

Luna listened to Anna's words. Was she honestly suggesting the ponies of Equestria would... actually resort to violence if they had to? As chilling a thought it was... if things were at the breaking point, if there was no other choice... they probably could. That would be a dark day for Equestria, though, and Luna hoped it never had to happen.
She was about to speak, when she noticed Derpy looking out the window. "What interests you out there, Ms. Hooves?" she asked.
Derpy looked back at the princess. "Theres blacky stuff coming from the forest but it's not night yet! That's so weird." She turned back to watch, though she found it tricky considering one of her eyes refused to cooperate.
Black stuff? Luna walked to another window, looking down. One could have sworn the color started to drain from her coat. She shook her head to snap herself out of it. "Outsider," she said, looking to Anna, "if you wish to assist us, now is the time. We, Princess Luna, doth hereby plead for your assistance."
Vinyl nervously glanced out the window. This definitely wasn't good. She couldn't get back there to enact her plan on her own in time now. She needed either Luna or Anna's help, and they looked busy. So she cleared her throat, hoping to make clear they were running short on time.

Twilight saw the weird looking black streaks in the sky almost the same time as everyone else did.
"What... what in Equestria is-"
She watched as the streaks flew through the air, moving about in an almost threatening matter. Really, nothing that looked like THAT could possibly look good in a pony's eye...
Had this been what her horn had been trying to tell her? Was it trying to warn her of this? What was this anyways?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hmmmmm... Seems those newcomers weren't the only things that portal let in... A fan of chaos though I may be, this can't really be what I had in mind for such a thing..." There was a foul little chuckle. "Perhaps it would afford me if I did something about this little debacle... Hmmmm... What to do..."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
When Twilight saw the black streaks coming, she knew she would have to work FAST. She quickly turned on her back legs and ran into the town, heading straight towards that ever familiar building that resembled a carousel.
Pushing open the door, Twilight looked around in a panic. "Rarity!! Rarity are you here???"

(With recent developments, it's time for me to try and get this thread back into development.)
Big Mac's worries would be put to rest as a familiar voice called his name. "Big Macintosh. There yah are. Ah've been lookin' all over for yah." Applejack trotted up and looked up at the sky. "Granny Smith's callin' for us ta get back to the farm. Says a bad storm's brewin' or somethin' like that, so she sent me ta get ya. Come on." She noticed, however, that Big Mac most likely would not yet move. "Hey, Big Mac... ya alright there?"
Meanwhile, back at Carousel Boutique, Rarity was busy sewing dresses in order to have something ready to sell when Twilight came in. Turning around, she noticed the panicked look on the other unicorn's face and immediately dropped what she was doing to move over to her. "Twilight, dear, you look scared out of your wits. What's happen..." At that point, Rarity could hear a weird noise outside. "Wh-What was that?"
Applejack, however, could see the source of the noise and looked up. "WUT IN TARNATION ARE THOSE THINGS?!"
The defenders of the Alliance saw as the dragon riders got close and close. Two of them. Their forms were now visable and they could see the glowing eyes of the black dragons. Sure dragons existed in Equestria, but even the meanest looking dragon would never match the pure malevolence and hatred that simply eminated from one of Deathwing's brood. "Are you all ready?" Myushelle asked her compatriots.
"I was born ready. But... I have a different plan." Lunessa grinned, and the Death Knight grimaced.
"Is now really the time?" She kneeled down and the Gnome whispered it to her. The Elf looked minorly concerned, but smirked lightly anyways. "But I agree with this plan anyway." She stood back up. "Alright... steady now... steady..."
"I do wish to give my assistance." Back at Princess Luna's palace, Annalissa had responded to the Princess' plea. And then Vinyl had garnered for their attention, and Anna had turned to regard her. "Is there something you require?"

Big McIntosh was staring at the black shapes take form so long, he hadn't even noticed that the elder of his two little sisters had shown up until her outcry. Turning to look her in the eye, he summed up in as few words as necessary what he'd been meaning to tell her once she arrived all morning.
"AJ, Twi needs ta see ya." Despite his seemingly perpetual calm and quiet demeanor, anyone who knew Big Mac well enough could easily tell from his body language that whatever Twilight needed her for, it was urgent.
