"Wait, wait, wait," Jaron interrupted. "Kavma locked you up?! Why?"

"Long story," A.J. said shortly. "Maybe if we get somewhere warmer I can tell you about wait a minute."

He did a quick head count. "....where are Kaitlin and Max?"

"KAITLIN AND MAX WERE WITH YOU?!" Lucas exclaimed, grabbing A.J. by the shirt collar.

"Hey, take it easy, I don't know what happened!" A.J. said panickingly. "I was just talking to Kaitlin when those portals showed up, I don't know where they are now!"

"You guys found Kaitlin and Max?"

They both ceased their argument to look at Jaron. He looked somewhat surprised.

A.J. nodded. "Y-yeah, it was after we got out of that factory place. They managed to find Gantz's house."

"What did they look like?" Jaron asked.

Since he woke up the only thing he had managed to remember was those two names. Even after regaining some of his memory, those two still didn't ring a bell, though he knew that they meant something to him.

And he had been so close to meeting them.

"Well--" A.J. started, then he shook his head. "Wait, why are we talking about this? We need to find out where we are first--"

"You're at Crystal Lake, the boy with the fins is named Mizuno and the woman with the button nose is Professor Shantotto," Jaron said immediately, obviously wanting to avoid any time-wasting questions.

Gantz looked to Jaron himself, taking a breath. "Well, it's just good to see your okay Yana." He let out a sigh. "We were worried about you when we seperated..." He took a look and noticed Shantotto for the first time in that moment. "... Hello Professor."

"So very nice to see you again as well Gaz.
Have you been holding on to your woman you spaz?"

If Jaron had been about to comment on the names, he was stopped by Gantz chuckling. "Yeah, yeah... Me and Rose are fine, thank you. What about you?"

"Oh same old, same old for me, impetuent young man,
Making new discoveries, exploring, doing just what I can.
And doing what I must too! Such a great land to see.
It's too bad you didn't come, there's such great mystery."

There was a shrug. "Sorry Prof, but after getting Rose back I just wanted to relax and rest for a while. You understand of course." Shantotto merely shrugged.

As this happened, Mizuno, and likely A.J. and Jaron looked at the two with bewildered expressions. "You know this woman, Gantz?" Mizuno asked with wide eyes.

"Know her? I trained under her for a time. She's the one that helped me and the others save Rosaline when she was kidnapped by Him." He smiled a bit.

Gene nodded. "Yeah, I could barely believe it myself." He shivered. "But A.J. has a point... L-let's find someplace warmer to talk more shall we?"

There was some collective nods. "I agree... It's too cold out here, we should seek shel-" Misty stopped dead in her tracks when she realized something...

Hold on...

It wasn't just Kaitlin and Max that were missing.

"Guys?" The group looked to Misty. "Where's Red?"

"I'M GOING TO FUCKING ERASE KAVMA FROM EXISTENCE FOR THIS..."

Gantz's threat would've almost been hillarious, had it not been for the fact that he cursed, that he was VISIBLY seething, and the fact that he sounded completely and utterly PISSED.

NO ONE was allowed to hurt Red...

Not if he could help it.

Gantz's use of the name 'Yana' did not go unnoticed. "Uh, Gantz, about that--" Jaron started, only for Shantotto to interrupt.

As she and Gantz spoke with each other, A.J. muttered to Lucas, "Didn't expect her to know Gantz, did you?"

Lucas shook his head, his eyes still on Gantz.

Two years. It had been two years since he had seen him last. Gantz had helped save his life, once. In fact, Gantz was the sole reason why he was still himself.

Seeing his savior after so long was a little jarring, to say the least.

Jaron, meanwhile, was rather surprised to hear that Rose had once been kidnapped. He wasn't sure who they meant by 'him', but he figured he could ask later.

After a moment, he realized something, though Misty beat him to it.



Gantz's reaction was downright scary to him.

A.J., who had witnessed his previous epic freakout, wasn't nearly as unnerved, though he was thankful that the boy hadn't summoned a lighting storm or something.

"Wait, are you saying Kavma kidnapped Red?!" Jaron asked. "Why would he do that?! It's not for another stupid challenge, is it?"

The group looked at him. "Uh, Jaron, about that," A.J. said hesitantly. "Kavma kinda canceled the challenge thing because of some guy called Zero running around..."

Jaron blinked. "...Zero? Wait, Zero? You mean the guy who just left?"

THAT was a surprise to them.

"You saw him?!" A.J. shouted, forgetting about Red for a split second. Jaron took a step back.

This really caught Mizuno's attention. "Wait... How do you guys know Zero?"

All of this was happening way too fast for Gantz. After a moment, he massaged his temples. "GUYS!!!" A few members went quiet at this. "Look... How about we discuss this once we're someplace warmer? This chill is gonna get to us after a while."

It looked like Gene was all for this idea. "Sounds good to me... B-but where's some shelter we can use?"

Misty quickly raised a hand. "There's a village of Igloo's not too far away from here. We can regroup there."

Ah yes, the Igloo Village... Shantotto remembered visiting there a few times before when she traveled this region. Metal nodded a bit himself. "Yeah, I remember mentions of a place called Igloo Village in this region. Normally only eskimo's or cold-resistant people live up here. But a place to stay there will be suitable enough for our needs. I even hear there's a hotspring there."

"A hotspring?" That REALLY caught Rose's attention. "This far up north?"

"Regardless of what the town has, it's the best chance we got." Gantz let out a breath. "Come on gang. Let's get there on the double before a blizzard or something pops up."
