"H-Holy shit!" Eligius quickly jumped backwards, a little singed, looking at Fire Princess. "...Damn..." He didn't think he had any spells to help deal with this... he only had Aero and Water at the first level, not nearly strong enough. 'And of COURSE I wouldn't have learned Aqua Breath before fighting something like this...'
Deciding to use the Dark Boost ability that his Keyblade gave him, he pointed it at FP, yelling out "Dark!" and firing an orb of black energy at her; he didn't expect it to do much but figured it was better than standing there and becoming Keyblade Knight Flambé.

Dark seemed to come in contact with Flame Princess... "OW!" And it phased right through her, snuffing out some of the flames near her chest. Before Eligius could celebrate, FP's flames quickly re-filled the hole and the fire elemental looked a little more then displeased at what had occured. "I'LL TEACH YOU-!!!" She zoomed at Eligius, leaving a trail of flames behind her.
Eligius quickly dodged as FP threw a punch... Then jumped backward to avoid a wave of flames that followed the movement. With each movement, it looked like FP was holding two blades back-hand style like knives, which could morph into knuckle claws when she went for a punch. Growling, FP continued her assault, deftly dodging Eligius' sword until one blow with the blade hit her...
And then phased right through her.
It became clear immediately that normal attacks wasn't going to be too effective.
With Aqua, she continued examining Eligius trying to find a weakness in his style with a scanner skill she had... Hmm, so he was a counter-style fighter eh? Interesting... and he seemed to have a natural affinity to non-elemental spells. Also interesting, but not surprising.

Eligius wasn't sure exactly what to do... then he got an idea. "I hope this works... Stopga!" He thrust his Keyblade up, attempting to stop FP in her tracks. He figured that if he could keep her 'solid' for a little while, he could get some attacks in.
His plan was as such: If Stopga worked, he would launch a volley of Water and Blizzara spells at her, betting that that was a weakness. If not, he would try to Flowmotion move his way away while throwing Thousand Needles attacks at her.
Either way, Eligius figured he could make SOME progress.

FP let out a roar as she charged at Eligius....
Which was stopped mid-screech.
The keyblader looked to see that, indeed FP had been stopped clean in her tracks, her face frozen in the middle of her horrible roar of rage.
Aqua was quick to see this and looked panicked. "Y-Your highness!! Hold on!" She prepped another defense buff on herself and charged at Eligius in the hopes he could stop him before any sort of damage could be done. Her keyblade was at the ready as she casted a defense buff on herself and charged.

Eligius had managed to get off a Water spell and a Blizzard spell, not having time to prepare a Blizzara. He turned to meet Aqua's attack, starting to feel more comfortable with his Dark Keyblade.
He jumped back a little ways, out of FP's way for when the Stopga spell wore off, crouching a little to attack Aqua.
"You're good..."

When Stopga dissipated FP IMMEDIATELY winced. "OW OW OW!!!!" She hit the ground, the water spell putting out the flames that made up the right side of her waste and the blizzard spell had succeeded in taking a chunk of her shoulder out of her body. Her monster form actually let out odd looking red streaks from her eyes that looked similar to tears. "It... It hurts...."
"Thundaga Shot!!" Aqua was fast and without mercy, shooting out a blast of lightning energy. If the attack connected, it would immediately blast outward with an electrical shockwave. "Zero Graviga!"
Apparently Aqua was taking no chances, she needed a chance to heal FP, and flinging Eligius through the air appeared to be the best way to get a few minutes. With that done, she quickly turned to FP, "Triple Firaga!"
FP winced, wondering if this spell would hurt like any of the others before... However when the three fireballs collided with her, they rather immediately merged into her form. "Oh!!" FP quickly stood up, her shape reforming and growing brighter before she returned to normal. FP nodded to Aqua quickly. "Thanks miss Aqua!!"
Aqua only nodded back and quickly looked around for Eligius. "Stay back for now you're highness, I will deal with your attacker." She rushed after where she was sure she saw Eligius flying off.

Eligius actually 'bounced' across the area after he was put into zero gravity and fell. "O...Oww... C-Cura..." A green light enveloped him and he stood up, though he was injured. "D-Damn, they're tough..."
He took a few moments to think to himself about what to do... it was clear that for non-Blue magic, this lady had him outmatched... his only hope was his Blue Magic, what little offensive spells for it he had, and his speed.
"Flowmotion, don't fail me now... Mighty Guard!" He thrust his Keyblade up and twin auras enveloped him, boosting his Defense and Magic Defense; he then stepped onto a wall and began Wallkicking in Flowmotion towards Aqua, preparing to attack her with a Kick Dive when he got close enough.

Aqua looked... Surprised to see the Flowmotion. It was clear she had never seen such a technique before. The only reason she missed it the first time was because she had focused on dodging Eligius's Graviga spell. But seeing if for the first time now was truely a surprise. "Wh-What the-?!" She saw Eligius flying at her, preparing for a downward slice. Aqua barely did a one hand cartwheel to dodge aside.
When Eligius landed, Aqua zoomed back over with a sliding thrust attack, which he quickly blocked, beginning yet another fast volley of blades, Aqua using her one-handed long-sword based style to match Eligius' fencing style blow for blow. After a series of sword clashes, the two clashed and stayed, the two's blades grinding against each other as the two pushed against each other.
[It can be during this exchange that Eligius discovers how to duel-weild his weapons, just wait till after my next turn.]

"Your going to go out complimening your enemy?" She had to say this young man was quite the weird one... Still, it was better she ended this fight quickly before this kid did that... weird magical Wall jumping thing. Aqua and Eligius stared each other down a moment, the young woman doing her best to keep her opponent back.
One could note however that as Aqua clashed with Eligius, she had a free hand, which charged with an odd energy. "Aerora!" She blasted the magic into his face, quickly blinding him a second for Aqua to escape the clash, circle around and suddenly get parallel to the ground. Aqua's usual combo finisher, a powerful upward directed strike reeled around with an unheard of speed, Aqua showing a great amount of acrobatics, dexterity and speed.

Eligius, in a manner uncharacteristic to his typical demeanor, cursed loudly, acting before thinking. He wasn't going to be able to get Phrygian Mode around to block in time...

He'd shifted his stance, turning, but in his formerly-free left hand... was his original Keyblade of Light, Concerto Grosso. The bronze Keyblade shimmered a little bit as it held Eraqus' Keyblade at bay.
"W-What the...?" He had no idea that he was capable of that. Not at all. He panted a bit, sweat beading on his brow from all the exertion.

CLANG!!! THUD.
Aqua's attack was soundly blocked, and so surprised was she that she couldn't twirl back to her feet. She landed flat on her back. "Oof!!"
She looked up to Eligius, shocked at this sudden turn of events... A few seconds later, she rolled away from Eligius and got back to her feet with a quick acrobatic movement. Once back on her feet she looked again...
Two keyblades... One of light and one of darkness....
".......... What-"
By that point, she had made her keyblade vanish. "A keyblade of light and a keyblade of dark.... Together? What is going on here?"

He dispelled his Keyblades as well. "...Honestly? Your guess is as good as mine... The bronze one, Concerto Grosso, is my original Keyblade... but besides some Keychains I got during my test so far, I got that Dark Keyblade... Phrygian Mode... just recently. I have no idea what it means."
He wiped his brow with a sleeve. "...I get the feeling that we shouldn't have been fighting... my apologies to you and your Eidolon there... My name is Eligius." He offered Aqua his hand.

Aqua still looked quite a bit hung up on the fact that Eligius had both a Light and Dark keyblade…. But looking at him, she couldn’t help but be reminded of a certain other person she knew... Someone who also had blonde hair, and had a situation regarding his light and darkness…
Either way, when Aqua took his hand, she did so hesitantly. “Pleasure Eligius. I am Master Aqua of the Land of Departure, Former student of Master Eraqus.” She kept her introduction tightknit, knowing she was giving an introduction as opposed to a life story. “I am starting to understand the same myself, about our fighting… Perhaps you are not as dangerous as I believed…” She let out a sigh. “I apologize for my rashness. But… Well… I am familiar with a certain other Dark Keyblader and….” She shuddered violently but quickly shook it off. “Nevermind, I shouldn’t have been so quick to attack you-”
“Miss Aqua!” FP zoomed over, leaving a small trail of flames in her wake. “What’s going on? Aren’t you two still fighting? Do I have to help again?”
Aqua smiled and chuckled at FP’s childish insistence on the subject. “As it turns out you’re highness, there was no reason to even fight in the first place. This young man is of the light, owning a keyblade of light.”
…… There was an expression of confusion on the 14 year old Fire Elemental’s face. “But I thought you said-”
“It is complicated, and apparently our friend here doesn’t know the whole story either.” She let out a breath. “I apologize for the Princess of the Fire Kingdom, she is not familiar with the keyblade lore.” She noticed the look of surprise on Eligius’ face. “Oh yes… You see, my charge here isn’t an eidolon. She’s a local of this world, a Fire Elemental. Sure she’s volatile in certain situations. But otherwise, she is relatively harmless.”
FP grinned mischievously and stuck out her fiery tongue.

'Oh shit. I assaulted a Princess... that's not good.'
The blond Keyblade Knight quickly knelt to FP, saying, "I sincerely apologize, ma'am. Forgive me for attacking you..."
He slowly stood back up. "You're a Keyblade Master too? ...Huh... I see. Well, I am a Keyblade Knight... I'm currently traveling world on my Mark of Mastery test."
