He grinned a bit; it was clear he enjoyed that thing Aqua was talking about. "It's called 'Flowmotion'. I don't really know the details as to how it works, but Master Solaris could do it and so could Master Noctis. I think it has something to do with having a high level of spiritual power... like one with a Keyblade would have."
He stood up. "Basically, it greatly increases your mobility... which is good for me in a combat situation because I'm not that great at taking hits." He looked around, then smiled; he dashed towards a lamp post, spinning around it using Phrygian Mode; he then launched off it in a huge jump, before wall kicking his way back to them. "See? It's useful..." He laughed a bit. "And really really fun."
He then nodded a bit. "Alright, my turn. Master Aqua... you mentioned your master... Eraqus, was it? What was it like training under him?"

Aqua and FP took in the show with a high amount of intrigue and curiosity, and, when Eligius landed again, FP applauded the show enthusiastically. "Yay! That was sooooo cool! I'll bet that IS fun!" Aqua smiled at FP's childish display, but really, couldn't help but feel excited herself.
She was a master and yet there was still so much to learn about being a Keyblader...
At Eligius' question, she took a moment to allow memories to return to mind, recalling many of her past experiences with Terra and Eraqus... "Eraqus... He was a good man." She smiled fondly. "He was a.... Strict teacher at times, but he was not without his kinder moments."
FP looked to Aqua as she continued to reminisce. "I remember when I first met Eraqus... He already had my good friend Terra on as an apprentice, I believe. We were both very young then, I recall, barely children. Eraqus and Terra had been traveling around before they came across me on my own homeworld. Terra took quite the shine to me immediately, and Eraqus himself saw that I had potential to be a great keyblader. I was an orphan at the time, so he took me in and brought us both with him to the Land of Departure."
She let out a breath as more memories. "When I discovered my natural affinity to black magic, Eraqus immediately had me take difficult training regiments to learn how to better utilize it. While I wasn't fond with the idea at first, I became thankful for it later. It's made me the sorceress I am today." FP smiled as Aqua continued. "In a sense... I kind of look up to Eraqus as a father and an example."
As she finished that explanation, she let out a breath. "I was... Devastated when I learned that he was struck down... But back then I had no time to grieve, I had other duties to uphold as a master keyblader..." She sighed, wiping away a stray tear... "S-sorry... I suppose I shouldn't stray too far into this subject. What's in the past is done..." She looked up to Eligius, expression curious. "What about you sir Eligius? What was it like training under this... Solaris? From what you said, he sounds not too dissimilar to Master Eraqus."

"I... I see. My condolences. He sounds like he was a good man... and I can guess that you and Terra were quite close?" He nodded a bit. "Master Solaris... well, he taught me the basics of Keyblade use and magic, though that Dark spell I know was taught to me by Master Noctis. Being a Blue Mage, there wasn't a whole lot Master Solaris could do to help me with that. It was hard work, to be sure, but I enjoyed it. He is... firm but caring. I honestly don't remember much of anything of my past. Most of my memories start with being trained as a Keyblade Knight at the Sunset Crossroads... that's the world where Master Solaris and Master Noctis live. Master Solaris had trained another a while ago but I never met him... Master Noctis actually has yet to have a true Keyblade Knight student; he hasn't been a Master as long as Master Solaris, though some mages have come to him for teachings at times."
"I learned quickly, though. Master Solaris has said for a while that I have something called 'Scholar's Insight' or something like that. All I know is that I'm pretty good at analyzing things. That's kinda why my fighting style is how it is."
"If I may ask, where is Terra now? I know some Keyblade Masters travel the worlds to protect them... is that what he's doing now?"

Aqua gulped when she heard this question before she lowered her head. "I..... I do not know where Terra is right now... Nor do I know what he's up to..." She let out a breath. "Y-you see... Something happened a long time ago, I don't know how long ago it was, Terra succombed to the darkness." She looked away. "It wasn't his fault though... All of the blame belonged souly to one.... monster..." Her hesitation almost hinted at her about to say something else.
Eligius didn't need to know about... Him... He just didn't. FP brought her hands up to her mouth in shock.
"The last time I saw Terra, he was under the monster's control, and serving as it's body. I was able to help Terra beat it back, and get it under control, perhaps give him a fighting chance in beating it once and for all by himself... When it looked like he would be okay, we... Went our seperate ways I guess you could say. I wanted so much to go with him, to help him... But even if I could, it wouldn't have felt right considering the circumstances."
FP looked to Aqua curiously. This was obviously the first time she had heartd this story. "Why miss Aqua?"
........ Aqua let out a long breath. "Part of the reason Terra fell was because, when he left to investigate an incident, Eraqus sent me after him to keep an eye on him, to ensure that he would be okay." She teared up a bit, but quickly wiped them away. "It... It hadn't even occured to me until later, when he and another friend of ours, Ven, learned about what I was doing. Terra immediately took that as Master Eraqus had lost faith in him, and sent me to watch him... Like one would do a rebellious child..." She looked down. "It didn't help that... As I had helped Terra with the darkness threatening to take him, a... A portal to the realm of darkness opened and he fell in..."
She showed Eligius her keyblade. "This keyblade here, Eligius? It belonged to Master Eraqus. I sacrificed my own keyblade and my Keyblade Ride Armor so that Terra might escape the darkness and return to the realm of light... And while Terra returned to the Realm of Light, I fell into the Realm of Darkness..." Eligius' attention was likely caught at that, his eyes wide. "That's why I can't remember how long ago this was... There was no sense of time in the Realm of Darkness. I couldn't tell if a day had passed, much less a year.
"So for an unsure amount of time... I just walked through the Realm of Darkness... It was such a lonely time, being in there... Akin to walking through a never-ending void, with only the shadows, and the monsters that rested inside as company." She looked to him. "Before you ask... No. I don't know how I got out. A portal suddenly appeared in the realm of darkness, and, well... The next thing I knew, I was here... On this island."

The Keyblade Knight was dumbfounded. "Dear Hearts... that's terrible... I... I can only assume that was why you reacted how you did to Phrygian Mode... my Keyblade of Darkness... Why exactly did Terra feel that your and his Master had lost faith in him?"
He had indeed caught the hesitation and felt it would be worth looking into... but not now. "I... see... that's terrible... I'm guessing Ven isn't here either?" He looked hard at Eraqus' Keyblade. "There's... quite a bit of power radiating from this Keyblade... it's not unlike Master Solaris' Keyblade... Prominence..."
"I must admit that I know very little about the Realm of Darkness. Master Noctis spent a little time there once, I think, but even he didn't know much about it."

"You are lucky for not knowing much on it." Aqua monotoned, letting out a deep sigh. "In any cases, let us move the subject please?" Aqua looked like she wasn't going to accept any other answer. This subject was distressing enough it seemed.
Aqua looked up before looking to Eligius. "If you don't mind me asking, what exactly is that odd magic you used during our duel? You used a spell called 'Thousand Needles' what exactly was that?"
That appeared to catch FP's attention as she turned to Eligius "Yeah, I never saw Miss Aqua do that before!"
-------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile in town...
The people continued partying about, having fun and playing games......
However, no-one saw odd shadowy beings appear from the nearby alleyway...

The Knight smiled a bit. "That would be a Blue Magic spell. I'm a Blue Mage by trade, really. Have you ever seen a creature called a Cactaur? They look like walking cacti, basically. 'Thousand Needles is an ability of theirs, where they launch 1,000 needles at an opponent. As a Blue Mage, I can use abilities like that. I have a few... Vampire... Mighty Guard, which gives me both Protect and Shell... I know a healing spell called 'White Wind' which restores my and my allies' vitality to an amount equal to my current vitality level. Most Blue Mages need to get hit with a Blue Magic spell to get them, but thanks to my Scholar's Insight, I only need to see it performed, really."
He smiled a bit.

That really caught Aqua's attention. "Oh! So you can use abilities commonly used by common monsters? I must say I am quite impressed! It must take a lot of focus to perform such abilities, much less learn them." She smiled a bit. "In any cases, that is most interesting... Perhaps I should try to learn about this magic as we-"
CRASH!!!
At that moment, screams could be heard coming from the town, as people ran past the three.........
"What just-"
FOOOM!!
Aqua's eyes widened when she heard that.
When the three turned back around, they found a wide collection of odd looking creatures decorated with varying dark colors, whether they be pure black, black with blue, black with purple, there was wide collection to see. ".... No.... Th-The Unversed?? N-no... The energy doesn't feel the same..." Aqua did the math as she drew Eraqus' keyblade. "It's... It's those creature from the Realm of Darkness!! How did THEY get here?!?"
FP meanwhile looked at the creatures with a confused expression even though she did stand to attention herself. "What are those things?"

Eligius' eyes widened as he stepped forward, drawing Concerto Grosso. "Heartless! More of 'em... 'least there aren't any Nobodies with them... Master Aqua, I don't know what 'Unversed' are but these things are dangerous; don't let them take your heart!" He slid into his battle stance, slightly hopping on his feet.
"Let's get them! Mighty Guard!" He thrust his Keyblade upward and Protect and Shell surrounded him and his two new allies. "C'mon!" He began to Wall-kick his way over, taking out some Yellow Operas and a Grey Caprice. "They've got a regular pallet of colored Heartless here... Red, Yellow, Blue, Green... Pink, Turquoise, Grey, even a few Striped Arias... Master Aqua, be careful with what kind of magic you use! The Greens absorb all elements, so leave them to me! Thousand Needles!"
He launched a volley of needles at a group of Green Requiems. Due to being a non-elemental spell, they couldn't absorb it and got ripped to shreds, hearts flying away.
"Watch the Shadows, too!" He looked at the Pureblood species and the Soldiers that were there.

Aqua took in the multiple palettes of these.... Heartless as Eligius called them... Truely an odd name in all honesty, but it seemed to fit those odd heart shaped emblems on the creature's bodies. "So these creatures are magic based are they?" She looked at the various colors.... Maybe... "You're highness! Only attack the blue colored creatures!! I'll handle the others!"
There was a quick nod as FP took in that order. "You got it Miss Aqua!!" She rushed forward, setting several soldier heartless afire and started launching fireballs at the blue heartless as ordered. "Hah hah! YAAAAH!!!!" She incinerated a Striped heartless when it tried to come close to her. "BURN YA BUTT!!!"
As FP did this, Aqua charged in, taking out the more red looking monsters with Blizzard spells and slamming the yellowish ones with her powerful quake spell which slammed the yellowish ones with a powerful and sharp stalagmite of earth shooting out of the earth. Once done with them, she turned her attention to some rapidly approaching soldiers "Deep Freeze!!" And launched a Deep Freeze spell which froze the enemies into blocks of ice. "Zantetsuken!!!"
And after a quick moment of reeling back her keyblade, she launched forward and sliced through the heartless and ice, shattering them completely.

"That's the way!" Eligius yelped as a Soldier kicked him in the head before he stabbed it with his Keyblade. "Damned things! Vampire!" He grabbed another Soldier and drained its vitality, restoring his own as the hearts flew away.
"Keep it up." He stared down a pair of Sergeants, watching them carefully

Aqua held her ground against what looked like several flying heartless, Artful Fliers, quickly thinking of what kind of spells to use here. They needed to clear these creatures out and QUICK. But just what could she do? She had a lot of spells, and these creatures were so big-
Hold on...
"Eligius!!! Duck NOW!!!"
She started charging her magic, as a great amount of it entered her and started focusing. Eligius could tell, even in it's early stages of charging, that this one was going to be a doozy. "You're highness!!"
"Got it!!!" FP shot out a blast of big fire balls, which caught the Artful Fliers and the Sergeant's attention and kept it off of Aqua. "Nyah Nyah!" With that said, she flew up and landed around the area keeping the heartless' attention.
"Aaaaaand...." Aqua ground her feet as she prepared her keyblade. "Now!!" With that said, FP quickly flew over to Aqua and landed next to her. "MEGA FLARE!!!!"
The kaboom that followed covered a wide area in infernous flame for a few moments before it dissipated.

Eligius dove out of the way of the Mega Flare spell, jaw dropping. "H-Holy... just like Bahamut..."
He gasped a bit. "That was incredible..." He walked over towards Aqua and FP. "What was that?"

Aqua took a few panting breaths as she tried to catch her second wind. "Huff huff.... That spell was Megaflare... It's a very powerful spell, and it takes a lot out of you to use..." She pulled out an elixer and quickly downed it. "But the effect is more then worth the expended energy."
FP nodded excitedly. "I'll say it is! Hehehehe! Good job miss Aqua!" The keyblader nodded to the childish FP. "I know I couldn't do something like that, without setting a town on fire or something!"

"Megaflare... incredible. That's just incredible magic power. Ah... I have a question. Master Aqua, do you know a Raise spell at all? Just so I know..."
He stayed alert. While he couldn't sense any more Heartless, he didn't want them to be caught off-guard.
