Aqua remembered seeing much as she arrived in Lofty Ridge on this very afternoon. She remembered arriving to find the city in a very festive time, with banners hanging up around the city, confetti flying through the air and music playing on every street corner. Aqua took it all in with stride, used to the feeling of it due to her previous visit to Disney Town. It had been a while since she saw that world....
"Wow... Look at this place... It's so... Pretty." Aqua turned to Flame Princess as the fiery noble followed behind her. Aqua had met the noble down in the Geodesic Caverns thanks to her friend Blizzarex, king of the Yeti tribe, and in that meeting Aqua promised to help FP find her supposed 'Prince'. Thus far it had been tough going, helping her get across the island. Everything FP touched that was flammable tended to catch on fire within seconds, but thanks to some magic Aqua worked out, FP found herself capable of safely traversing about without much fear of that.
FP turned to Aqua with a small smile, a small amount of confetti flying around her thanks to a special barrier spell. "Thanks for bringing me here Miss Aqua, it's like something from a dream!" She twirled around a bit to get a better look. "I've never seen anything quite like this before!"
Aqua had a kind smile on her face as she motioned for the girl to come along. "I suppose it wouldn't surprise me. From what you've told me, you've had a pretty sheltered life before now."
"I just wish Finn could be here to see this. He'd love it."
The two continued on their way.

Meanwhile, while the two ladies were walking, a Corridor of Light opened up a little ways inside the Ridge, near a deeper part of the crag. A tall young man walked out, not looking where he was going, his eyes down and his face lost in thought...
...Which soon became a look of panic as he stepped over the side, yelling; he quickly recovered, dashing towards the side and Wallkicking his way to safety, the violet aura of Flowmotion enveloping him.
Eligius panted a bit, thinking to himself 'I really need to pay more attention...'
The young man looked down at his hand, summoning his Keyblade, Concerto Grosso, to him. The bronze blade shimmered slightly in the light. "...Master Solaris... I can only imagine what you'd think about... this..." He thought about his newest Keyblade, his Dark Keyblade, Phrygian Mode.
Sighing a bit, he adjusted his blue headband (As he was wearing his traditional clothes) and began walking, looking around. "Now where am I? What world is this?"

With Aqua and FP, the two continued walking through the Lofty Ridge's festival, the look of curiosity and wonder building in FP's expression as they did. Aqua herself had a smile on her face as she saw all of the people having fun, children running about, playing games, eating snacks ("Oh, oh! Hey Aqua! Can I try one of those Coco things?" FP asked, pointing at a chocolate bar), and generally just being kids.
In fact, Aqua was so focused on the festivities she ALMOST missed an odd energy spike.
"Huh?" As she said this, Aqua quickly scanned the area tying to find the source of the odd energy.
FP, whom had dropped a chocolate bar down her mouth (Which was followed quickly by the smell of burning chocolate), looked to Aqua with a curious expression? "Hm? Is something wrong miss Aqua?"
The older of the two continued looking about the crowd. ".... I could have swore I felt this odd energy..."

The Keyblade Knight continued to wander the festivities, smiling when he managed to find a place that was selling ice cream; he purchased one of his favorite flavors (Vanilla bean, for those who were curious) and sat down a little ways away, his mood lifted slightly by the treat.
He, after a little while, decided to take another look at his newest weapon; making sure no one was looking... he summoned the ebon Keyblade to his hand. After looking at it for a while, he dispelled it, turning back to his now-starting-to-melt ice cream.

As Aqua continued walking, her energy senses spiked once more... However it was more towards the direction of darkness then light. Now very suspicious, Aqua picked up the pace, surprising FP as she rushed to keep up. "M-Miss Aqua! Slow down please!"
After turning a corner, Aqua saw what appeared to be a normal young man with blue clothes sitting on a nearby bench... Odd... Why did he feel like this odd energy she was feeling? He didn't feel or seem like a being of darkness. "Weird..."
At this, FP quickly caught up and stopped to catch her breath. "M-Miss Aqua, what's wrong?" As she caught her breath, the intake in air caused the heat around her to enter the air, and warm the area up some. Confetti on the ground near her feet started smoking before lighting on fire. "Oops!!"

The young man turned towards the shouting, seeing things on fire. "What the...?"
He stood up. "...Another malicious Light creature..." He didn't exactly relax; Phrygian Mode's dark summoning energy began to swirl around his right hand... before the ebon Keyblade appeared in his hand. "Who are you? What're you doing here?"

...... Aqua looked at the dark keyblade with wide disbelieving eyes. "A... A dark keyblade-??"
FP jumped at the young man's demand and held up her hands. "W-wait! I didn't mean to do that!!" She quickly pulled the fires into her body. The excess flames made her flare up a second, but she returned to normal a moment later. "I didn't-"
"It's okay your excellency. It's a good thing you did."
FP looked to Aqua, seeming confused. Aqua meanwhile went into a battle position, pulling out her master's keyblade. The excess light energy more then likely caught the young man's attention. "Now I know why I felt dark energy earlier... This young man is in the possession of a dark keyblade."
FP brought her hands up to her mouth in shock, looking decidedly cute. "Oh my glob, reallyyyy???"

He summoned Suspended Phrygian again. "Yeah... it's a Dark Keyblade." He looked at Eraqus' Keyblade, feeling the energy. "...Jeez, that thing has the same feel my master's does..." He shifted his stance a bit, holding his Keyblade forward, keeping limber on his feet.
"Guess this crap keeps piling up... for all Master Solaris said about light being nothing but pure good, there sure are a lot of wicked Light users around lately." Thinking FP was Aqua's Eidolon she'd summoned, he said, "So I guess this is still part of my test. Alright then..."
His magic aura flared up a bit. "Bring it on!"

Oh? Violent was he? Somehow she shouldn't have been surprised. Aqua always had a feeling any other dark powered keybladers would be just as bad...
Just as bad as HE was.
"You want to fight? Very well then!" Immediately the people nearby took off running as Aqua prepared to battle. FP looked to Aqua a moment and then back to Eligius seeming confused before quickly catching on. She clenched her hands into fists and lifted them to her face, forming fire balls from her fists.
"So how do we do this?"
"Cover me with fireballs while I go in."
"Got it." Flame Princess grew several degrees hotter as a barrage of fireballs formed around her...
Immediately, FP fired off the fireballs with Aqua following close behind them, readying her keyblade for a strike.

Eligius slid his feet back a little bit, blue crystals appearing temporarily around him as the Keyblade Knight tapped into his Blue Magic. He thrust his free hand forward, yelling out "Thousand Needles!" A barrage of needles launched at the fireballs and at Aqua, though he wasn't sure if they'd work. As such, he prepared to parry Aqua's incoming attack and counter, as was his typical combat strategy.

FP winced when she saw her Fireballs getting dissipated by the thousands of needles; almost in pain since she wasn't used to having her fires put out by anything other then water...
Eligius was right to prepare however, when the flames dissipated, he found that Aqua had incased herself in a barrier... And it looked like it was rippling violently from the needles that collided with it. "Take that!!" With that, Aqua willed her barrier to shatter into pieces, firing off the pieces at Eligius. "Hah!" There was even more effort as she cast a spell that placed odd looking glowing circles on the ground which traveled towards the young man, Aqua quickly behind them.

"H-Huh?!" Eligius had managed to block the shards, but the young man yelled out in pain as a Seeker Mine blew up beneath him, launching him into the air.
"Nngh... G-Graviga!" He slung his Keyblade downward, a large dome of heavy gravity coming into existence a little ways in front of him. Thinking quickly, he grabbed a nearby pole, spinning around on it, the violet Flowmotion aura surrounding him, then launched downward, grabbing his Keyblade; he prepared himself to counterattack again.

Aqua found herself surprised by the sudden appearance of the Graviga spell and quickly jumped back to avoid getting flattened. "Hmm, so he knows magic too... Interestin-"
"AQUA LOOK OUT!!"
FP's warning came quick enough to see Eligius flying at her. Frowning, she quickly cast a 'Barrier' spell on herself (The defense increasing kind, not the magic sphere guard kind), and quickly swung her keyblade at the rapidly approaching Eligius.

Still in Flowmotion, Eligius slammed Suspended Phrygian downward, using a "Shock Dive" attack... but her quick motion kept her safe. He charged, swinging his Keyblade downward and across at her.
"Take this!"

Aqua and Eligius were quick to enter into a fierce keyblade exchange, Aqua showing off her experience and dextrous sword-fighting skills. Eligius tried for a downward swing, but Aqua nimbly dodged aside, and tried to twirl around for a powerful spinning slash, however Eligius had been expecting that and quickly blocked her attack, redirecting the flow of the attack, and with another move, slammed Aqua back with a finisher blow. Give Aqua this however, she was quick to recover, and regain her footing.
As she thought out spells to use however, she found Eligius rushing at her-
FOOM!!!
Only for a wall of fire to seperate him and Aqua.
When he looked back at FP... Well she had turned from cute and girlish, to fierce and monstrous. The shape that made her mouth on her body was now jagged as if lined with innumerous teeth, and her upper body was quickly morphing into a form remniscient of a wild fire. "YOU LEAVE AQUA ALONE, YOU BIG BULLY!"
FP showed little mercy as she formed several fireballs and launched them at Eligius. Aqua meanwhile took a moment to gain some distance and heal herself.
