It took Twilight a moment to consider what it was Rulett had asked her (and she was a little distracted at first by the odd girl easily busting her brother, and her laughing at it), but when she worked her memory a bit she recalled an event that perfectly matched what she had asked. So long ago, her friend Rainbow Dash had entered the Equestria's Best Young Fliers competition...
"I guess you're talking about Rainbow Dash?" Twilight asked with a smile. "I do remember that she did rescue the wonderbolts and our friend Rarity once. All the while pulling off the legendary Sonic Rainboom maneuver.." briefly Twilight wondered if the events of that day was an episode in the show..... Boy that would embarrass Rainbow Dash quite a bit if it was. "That did happen, yes. And that was quite the story, but something tells me you already know how it goes."

Shining's cheek flushed lightly in embarrassment at having been caught... but he was glad she let him keep the plush. At Twilight's comments, he began thinking. "...You didn't recognize me, though... do I not appear in that... that show?" Needless to say, the white unicorn was a little perplexed.

Rulett nodded, smiling at Twilight. "Yes, that's right. Her name was Rainbow." She giggled, thinking of the episode. "It was kind of funny how she was so...well, nervous." She paused a moment, blushing slightly. "...well, at the time, it was..."
She turned her attention to Shining, placing her hand on her chin. "...well...I've only seen one or two episodes..." She snapped her fingers, her face suddenly brightening up as the pieces fell into place. "Oh, but I do remember hearing about a royal wedding!" She cheekily smiled, clasping her hands behind her back. "You liked that 'Princess Cadence' plush toy because she's your wife, right? So that means you two are technically royalty, then?"

There was a big ole' smile on Twilight's face when Rulett figured that out. "That's right! My BBBFF here is married to Princess Cadence; Their wedding was quite the event in Equestria that day." Yeah... For a number of reasons... She notices Rulett's look. ".... OH!" She blushed a bit. "Sorry... BBBFF means 'Big Brother, Best Friend Forever'. It's something I took to calling Shining back when we were little foals."
She chuckles a bit as she looks to Rulett. "Well... In that case. Which episodes have you seen? I can kinda guess you saw the 'Equestria's Young Fliers' competition, but what else have you seen?"

Shining bashfully rubbed the back of his head. "Well... kinda. Cadence is my wife, yeah; She's royal by blood. I guess that technically I'm a Prince through marriage but I've never really thought too much about it. I've never liked to 'put on airs'."
He chuckled lightly, ruffling his little sister's mane at the old term. "Heheh... I'm curious, too... how much do I appear in the show anyway? You seemed kinda surprised to see me... even more when I said I was Twilight's brother."

Rulett thought for a minute, frowning softly. "...I only saw one or two episodes..." She rubbed her head with her hand, avoiding her horns by virtue of habit. "...neither one had your brother...but I'm sure he was in a couple episodes, at the very least..." She nervously shrugged, a sheepish smile on her face. "...then again, I haven't seen those..."
She tapped her chin, trying to recall the other episode. "...I can't really remember the other one...I...I think it had something to do with a...late friendship report?" She sighed, shaking her head. "I can't really remember the details. I was kind of..." She trailed off, blushing softly. "...um...b-busy at the time..."

Twilight knew EXACTLY what Rulett was talking about, and BY THE SWEET MANE OF CELESTIA, she would've been glad if she had NEVER remembered THAT incident ever again. She was flushing BRIGHT RED in embarassment just thinking about it.

Shining had no idea what Rulett was referring to... he looked at Twilight. "Lil' sis... are you feeling okay? You're pretty red..." He honestly didn't know about that incident.

Rulett began to worry too, slowly approaching the lavender unicorn. "...Twilight? Is everything alright?" She got down on one knee, making herself roughly at eye level with the pony. "You're blushing quite a bit...did I say something wrong?"
She frowned softly, looking up at Twilight's brother. Maybe he knew the reason she was acting like this?

Twilight blushed a little more, if such was possible, and quickly shook her head at the questions. "No-no-no, it's nothing! It's nothing at all!" She attempted to get rid of her blush by clearing her throat. "ANYWAYS... You say your waiting for a friend to come find you after he handles some sort of mission?"
Having changed the subject successfully, she let out a breath. "Hmmm, this guy sounds interesting. What's he like?"

Rulett blinked, thinking about the question a bit. Her eyes drifted shut, a small smile slowly spreading across her face. "...oh, Alex is the best human I've ever known...he's kind, brave, maybe a tiny bit childish..." She giggled softly, a red blush covering her face. "I want to just kiss him so much!"
She froze, her eyes popping open in shock. She looked at the ponies, her cheeks positively burning from embarrassment. "...um...y-you didn't hear that last part...d-did you?"

Twilight couldn't contain a small giggle upon hearing Rulett fawn over this young human she mentioned, and giggled a bit more when she mentioned she wanted so much to kiss him. Twilight could see a lot of Rarity in this young lady; one to easily fall in love, and fall in love hard. But hey, she had no problems with that, Twilight hoped one day she could find a stallion she could like that way, she just wasn't interested in finding him right then and there.
"He sounds like a good stalli-er man. I would love to meet him sometime." She nodded to this, deciding not to answer Rulett's question about whether or not they had heard her mentioning wanting to kiss the man or not.

Rulett coughed softly, trying to recompose herself. "I'm sure Alex would like to meet you, too. He's a fan of yours, Twilight." She didn't mention Shining Armor because, to be honest, this was her first time hearing of him, much less meeting him. Even though she did have a plush toy of him, now that she thought about it.
She paused, a thought occurring to her. She turned to the purple unicorn, sheepishly smiling. "...um...am I allowed to call you Twilight?"
