Star matter? That could mean a host of different things, and... well, wasn't everything once star matter, once you came down to it? "What elements, specifically?" Chief asked. If it was possible to have a species based of off something heavier or denser than carbon atoms, it was possible that they would be more resistant to damage than other lifeforms.

"Elements?" Orion asked as his tail swished. "I don't follow...."

"You know, matter, Iron, Titanium, Vanadium. The materials that everything is made of." He tapped his breastplate. "I'm a carbon-based lifeform, for example."

Orion nodded confusedly. "I couldn't tell you even if I knew. I'm not alchemist. Just a blacksmith and a soldier," Orion answered. "I would assume a similar composition to yourself."

Chief nodded. "That's usually the case." Carefully, he unsealed his helmet and set it to one side. "Do you have any ranged weaponry... guns, lasers, anything of that ilk?"

"Ranged?" he asked before chuckling. "Cross bows and the standard electro-bows are for ranged weaponry."

"30. They're simple to use and make," Orion replied calmly as he brought one out.

"Reusable.... Not really. It's like firing a taser," Orion answered.

"I'll take one," Chief decided, handing over the requisite chips.

Orion nodded with a smile. "Sure thing," he replied as he accepted the chips. He went into the back to get the electro-bow.

Something peaked Chief's attention from behind; someone was watching him. Carefully, without moving to betray his intentions, he shifted slightly and checked the discreet mirror built into the top of his helmet's distinctive outcropping for just this purpose. A small, shifty looking man was skulking on a bench nearby, trying, but failing, to appear nonchalant.
