'Nothing but flames live here' INDEED. "Sides, who else here knows how to prep up monster food? Definitely not this guy I'll tell you that much!" She jumps up just looking so eager to please as she spun an arm around as if to ready it for a day on the battlefield... As opposed to a day in the kitchen. "OKAY SO WHERE'S THAT OVEN~?" LORD PLEASE SAVE MY HOUSE DON'T LET THIS MANIAC WITHIN 3 FEET OF THE STOVE "Why don't you just give him a recipe?"  Undyne and Alex turned to the very helpful female thief as she gulped down some more drink. "That way you're still helping to cook, and yet not actually touching the stove. Win-win." Alex almost felt like kissing Erin for the brilliant save. Letting out a snort, the fish woman, looking SLIGHTLY dejected at the fervent disagreement, just groaned and turned to Alex. "FIIIIIIINE... Todd and Forsaken both chuckled as Yang followed Undyne and Alex.
"You'll have to forgive my roommate. She's excitable at best," Todd offered.
"May nothing explode.. I hope," Forsaken offered as she put a few cookies on her plate.

Papyrus walked inside with the rest, making a bee-line for the couch. "OH, DON'T BE SO UPTIGHT, UNDYNE! WHY, i, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WOULD ORDINARILY LOVE TO HAVE ONE OF YOUR MEALS- BUT THIS ISN'T YOUR HOUSE, SO WE CAN'T."

Well, at least Undyne was willing to listen to reason, that was more then enough hope for Alex's case...

Thankfully, with Undyne's help, the monster food was finished within a few minutes, allowing Papyrus to eat the magical energy tinted food, along with Undyne. Alex actually tried a bit himself and was a bit surprised when the magic from it healed a few of the scratches and bruises around his body. Plus it didn't taste all that bad either. He'd have to ask Undyne if she knew any more recipes.
"So yeah. I haven't been on the island long." As Alex made mental notes, Erin had been sharing her current story. "I was seperated from my friends and lost my family during the events of my life. When I came here, I assumed I came here alone. I'm glad to see I was mistaken." She nods and smiles to Todd. "I just wish we could've met before the fog. All the chaos during was intense..."
"Mmmmm... It was probably for the better. We have no way of knowing if you two would've joined forces to reek havoc on the whole of the island." She smiled to the two regardless. "Still, it's SO AMAZING TO MEET YOU. Like, a female version of Alex? I knew timelines could be varried but I had no idea they could be THAT varied."
"So... Timelines are definitely a THING here? I mean, you see those in anime, Alphys kinda explained it to me." The fish woman ate some monsters food as well as she listened to the stories. "That's pretty batshit."

Papyrus sat and listened, rubbing his chin in thought. "...THE ONLY ALTERNATE UNIVERSE I'D BE INTERESTED IN IS ONE WHERE MY BROTHER ISN'T SUCH A LAZY BONES," he groaned. "I MEAN, HE DOESN'T EVEN TRY SOME DAYS! HE CAN'T EVEN MAKE A PROPER SNOWMAN!"

Alex and Erin barely held in a snort, knowing all too well that the reality Papyrus was hoping for would likely not exist... Still, Undyne chuckled at the suggestion from her friend as she downed some more of her drink. "Hmmm, it's an awful big coincidence though, you two running into each other on the island like this..." Erin nodded, likely knowing this to be true...
"If you don't mind me asking miss Undyne, Mr. Papyrus... What's you two's story? I don't think I've seen anything quite like you before...." Lizzie was definitely very curious as she took the two in, sipping some tea. "You look a bit like the stereotypical monsters from old childrens books and movies."
Undyne just smiled proudly. "Well that's cause we ARE~! We're monsters! What you see is what you get!" She then considered the first question. "As for our stories.... It'd.... TAKE A REALLY LONG TIME TO EXPLAIN HONESTLY... Extremely long story short, me and Papyrus here were just enjoying our new lives in our new homes when suddenly these portals opened up and dropped us both facefirst into this world... The whole thing's just been a MASSIVE kick in the face too...."
Alex nodded simply as he chomped down on some cake. "Yeah, I remember you saying that something happened to cancel out your ability to attack..."
"WHAT DID happen there anyway-?"
Erin was quick to chime in... Perhaps Alex should have seen this response coming but...
"We know what the source of the Fog is. Hell, we fought against it earlier."
Alex had nearly choked on his cake.

"INDEED WE DID!" Papyrus gloated. "IT WAS A ROUGH BATTLE, BUT THAT VILE MONSTROSITY WAS NO MATCH FOR I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AND MY BRILLIANTLY QUICK THINKING! NYEH HEH HEH HEH!" Despite his happy face, Papyrus was holding back a very hurt expression, the skeleton man seemingly trying to force his smile.

.............. Alex took another moment to make sure his wind-pipe was clear before turning to look at Erin and her new friends curiously. "You've..... ACTUALLY SEEN the source of the fog-??"A frantic nod followed by Erin as she stood up. "Yeah! It wasn't like we thought at all!" ? WHAT? "The fog isn't a randomly occurring thing that happens every year. It's a magic thing that's controlled by another person. A little demon child!"..................... "We went grimdark and nearly LEVELED THE ENTIRE ISLAND BECAUSE OF A KID?""Not just any kid. A demon kid. With a sadistic streak as big as the island itself." Undyne muttered bitterly. "He had few problems subduing me and Papyrus, and very nearly beat Erin as well... We're just lucky this other guy showed up and made him run away... Some guy that Erin called Petra's male twin... Named himself Pieter-" Undyne was cut off by hands finding themselves on her shoulder. " ?" "You met Pieter???"".... Wait... You know that guy?" Undyne really wished she could be surprised at this point... "Yeah. Where-as me and Erin are powerful in aspects concerning the void, Pieter is powerful in aspects concerning Space. And not just stuff like stars and outer space and junk. I'm referring to time/space phenomena. Or at least half of that." Alex seperated from Undyne and lounged in the air, taking this in. "Still... Pieter being powered by the fog.... That must've been terrifying...."There was another nod from Erin. "Yeah, he looked like a space god something. Heck one of the reasons he won was because he could warp space around him like it was nothing at all. That demon child didn't stand a chance."All of this was definitely confusing... But it was starting to link together.... |

"Yay more film to shoot," Forsaken offered.
Yang turned to Forsaken. "What did you just say?" She asked looking slightly peeved.

Papyrus gulped a big bite of his food down. "THIS WAS DEFINATELY NO NORMAL KID. THEY KIND OF LOOKED LIKE MY (AND UNDYNE'S) BEST FRIEND, BUT... MORE WICKED."
He then went bug eyed. "PLEASE NO-ONE FILM ANYONE UNDER THE FOG'S POWER!!!"

Erin let out a groan, looking away to show clear annoyance. "He's hiding away in the old haunted house in the Ghost Town... Honestly, much as I'd love to charge in and finish the job, hiding away in that old place gives him PLENTY of ambush spots that would allow him to get the drop on us." A shrug followed as she started floating off the floor. "AT THE VERY LEAST THOUGH, this means we'll be rid of him for a while... But this also means he has time to prepare for his next arrival..."
"Which is bad."
"UGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!! I KNOW!!" Undyne looked so frustrated as she shot to her feet and shook her fists. "If only I could've joined in the attack I would've helped finish that little brat off!! I had so many neat spear patterns too!" She tried her powers again. "Like one where-"
She had clearly not been expecting it to work.
BUT WHEN IT DID AND A SPEAR SHOT OUT, SKEWERING THE COFFEE TABLE IN HALF, UNDYNE WAS QUICK TO STOP IT, LOOKING AT THE SIGHT WITH BEFUDDLEMENT.

Then she looked to her own hand, teeth clenched in bewilderment. ".... OH SO NOW YOU DECIDE TO WORK."
"Awwww-!!! That was my favorite laptop table-!"
"FUCK I'M SO SORRY, I PROMISE!!"
"Eh... Don't worry about it... I didn't like that Coffee table anyway." He notes the looks.... "OKAY I DIDN'T REALLY HAVE A STRONG OPINION ABOUT IT ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. HAPPY?"

Yang had jumped back at the sight of the spear. She pouted slightly. "You skewered my soda too...." the brawler offered as Todd got a few napkins.
Forsaken blinked. "Okay... that happened," she offered. "So did this happen to Erin and Papyrus as well? It would be odd if this kid only disabled one opponent's attacks." She noticed the glare from Yang. "Alex... I own the account that is hosting that video..."
