Frisk looked at the odd shape a moment, Bayonetta's words echoing in their head. That blob hardly looks threatening.

Maybe they were overthinking it.... But.... Why would someone go to so much trouble to seal this thing away?
"... Maaaaybe.... You should be careful of it yourself Alphys..."
That caught a few looks from those present, the child rubbing their chin thoughtfully. "I'm not sure.... I... FEEL like if someone put that much protection on it, they might've had some reason for it..." Undyne looked a little confused, not sure she was following Frisk's logic. The little blob didn't look all that intimidating at all. "Maybe I'm worrying about nothing but.... I dunno... Try to look out for yourself okay?"

A minute or so later in the cafeteria...
"BLECK... Hospital food..." When Erin had guided Todd and Ray to the Cafeteria, it had been with the hopes that what she had remembered of Hospital food back home would have been untrue. Unfortunately however it seemed horrible hospital food wasn't just a constant back home, it was a universal one... She took the two in as they were similarly put off...
Oh well, Hospital Food was still food.
She took another bite and managed to gulp it down. "Phew...... Anyways, now that we're here we should discuss what we can do."
In the time it took to walk down to this area between getting out of ear shot of Eevee, Erin had done her best to summarize everything the down and out Rouge of Hope had told her. There were some stunned expressions. At least once Ray questioned why they were getting something to eat when they had to hunt the jackass down, only for Erin to kindly remind her of the clear power gap present. Things were looking grim, but at the very least, the God-Tiers were mobilizing and banding together.

Alphys nodded in response to Asgore's explanation. "Y-Yes. Abjuration is a class of arcane magic that creates barriers, negates attacks, banishes objects to other planes, s-so on and so forth. This barrier is... similar to the one that kept us underground, albeit significantly weaker."
"Huh." Elsa smirked and tilted her head, intrigued by this coincidental discovery. "A buddy of mine knows a thing or two about abjuration."
As Bayonetta and Frisk expressed their opinions, the latter seeming much more skeptical (granted, not without reason), Alphys listened and nodded along respectfully. Still, she couldn't help but hold the orb up to her face and stare at the blob inside with fascination. "I-I understand, Frisk. The thought had occurred to me, and the measures taken to seal this little thing away were... a-a bit extreme, judging by looks alone. But I suppose looks are deceiving, as they say... I of course plan to exercise caution until I've identified this... object. B-But... y-you can't really blame me for being curious about the unknown, now can you?"
It was true. She was curious. She wanted to know what this blob was and what its story was, and the possibilities actually made her quite excited. More excited than she had ever felt before, actually.
Excited... as if fate itself was compelling Alphys to study this little thing.

Papyrus mimicked Frisk, stroking his chin. "WELL WHATEVER IT IS, IT CAN'T BE THAT BAD!" he cheered."BESIDES, WE CAN PROBABLY TAKE IT, WHATEVER IT IS!"

Ray had a look that screamed "disgusting" with a mix of "what the hell are they feeding me" as she very grumpily chewed on what she hoped was ham. "Don't give me the power cap bull," she grumbled, swallowing her bite. "You KNOW my book can make super powerful things, don't write me off!"

Asgore really wanted to speak up, given past events, but... he didn't. Something seemed to make the king fall silent. He wasn't really even sure why himself.
Bayonetta nodded. "Well, I'd imagine that proper care could reduce risks." Besides, she figured, anything bad that could happen could also be fixed. Just required hitting the right person enough times.

Frisk let out a sigh at this. It was just this feeling of dread they had that wouldn't let go. The lab Prishe suggested checking out sounded dangerous, but at the very least it sounded manageable... The ISLAND sounded like a chore, but it was nothing that they couldn't handle now that they were together with the others... Frisk was somewhat hoping their feelings were at least somewhat off....
Undyne meanwhile let out a breath. Sure she smiled down to Alphys and her new pet project... Strange though it was... And decided to refocus her attention on something more attention catching. "Well, ANYWAY, back on topic cause this epic shit needs sayin' again~! If there is an abandoned lab up north we TOTALLY GO check it out!!! We can have all kinds of fun exploring it and shit! And if we come across some sort of mutant danger beast~? EVEN BETTER!" She looked so PSYCHED for this.
Prishe just laughed at Undyne simply. "I feel like I should warn you. The lab is hidden up north true. It's hidden in the northern snow-covered mountains. Finding it is a cinch, Getting there is gonna be interesting. So you'd better dress warm, for those of you that are coming~."

Erin simply reached over and grabbed Ray's cheek, pinching it and lifting it up. "RAY, CHILL." Erin let out a groan and thought a bit. "Look... Even if we COULD beat this guy as is, it's even more difficult when you factor in that he has our POWERS. Or rather, the powers of the us's from other timelines. HE can use our fraymotifs, he can recover just as quickly... And, even more tellingly? He has TSI's time powers. Even if we managed to brutally wound him, he could time-travel to some kind of safe place until he was healed up, or just ollie outtie all together. Our only chance of beating this jackass is considering our options and making sure, the next time we go up against him, we have some kind of plan."
She lets out a groan. "And that's not even factoring in this jackass used ORCANO'S POWERS. So he could just steal up your anger and use it to further power himself. You may be a mad badass bitch Ray, but ultimately all that rage doesn't amount to much when it's stolen from you and used against you... and even more then that, we also need to factor in keeping Eevee safe... The only power this guy DOESN'T have is Eevee's hope powers... And apparently according to a male version of Siri... If he gets his grubby, foamy mouthed, rotten teeth on that... Well... Most likely, we'd be screwed."

"O-Oh yes, absolutely!" Alphys cheered in response to Undyne's statement, tucking the orb back into her coat pocket. "It'll be great to... have an established workplace on the island. N-Not to mention a living space. I'd say it's worth checking out." Besides, if they did run into danger, Alphys could take comfort in her friends' support and supposedly increased strength and skills.
Seemed Elsa was in agreement. "Hellllll yeah! Hikin' through the mountains, checkin' out an old abandoned lab, runnin' into God knows what... Sounds like a real trip! When're we goin'?!"
"I-I'm willing to venture out whenever you guys are ready. B-But... we mustn't forget about..." Alphys slowly turned an awkward, bashful gaze towards Asgore. The former king wasn't exactly going anywhere anytime soon. It wouldn't be fair to up and leave him like this.

Bayonetta folded her arms. "Well. If you're confident, I don't think I could simply leave Fluffybuns here alone, either." Adjusting her glasses, she rested a leg over the other. "I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more of this city; I'm not really one for cold, usually; I can always come by the lab if necessary."
Asgore blinked. "Gh?" Well, that was a nickname he hadn't heard in a while. Nor did he expect the witch knew that he'd actually been called that before. It was still embarrassing, though. "...Thank you."

Frisk nodded to the volunteers smiling brightly. "Well it's good to see we've reached an agreement~." The child looked to Asgore, the monster king still looking pitiful and defenseless in his bed. "Don't you worry dad, we'll go to the lab, take a look around, and come right back! And while we're gone, Papyrus and Bayonetta will look after you." Frisk said simply.
With that said, Frisk turned to Undyne, Prishe, Elsa and Alphys. "Well guys! I say we get some winter clothes and then get a move on!"
"HELL YEAH~!!!"
"Can't wait to start bustin some caps!!" Presuming of course there are any caps to bust Prishe.

The same hand that pinched Ray's cheek came down and gently pat Ray on the shoulder. "Now now now, none of that... Listen Ray. I said we can't beat him rushing in... Heck... Maybe we can't beat him right now... BUT. That's why we're forming a plan." She smiled some more as she tried to bite into some chicken and nearly spat it out. "Bleck..... We're going to be restarting a nearby session so we can reactivate leveling up and climbing the Echeladder. Along with that, we can find some Alchemiters and craft some new equipment. With the new equipment and materials available to us on the Island new powerful equipment could be possible."

"Aww yeah! Let's do this like Brutus!" Elsa pumped a fist before bolting out the door, poking her head back in to say to Asgore, Papyrus and Bayonetta, "Nice meeting you guys! Had a lot of fun today! Hope to catch y'all on the flipside!"
Chuckling at the others' excitement, Alphys nodded to the duo volunteering to stay with Asgore. "Thank you, Papyrus... Bayonetta. A-And you hold tight, Asgore. We'll be sure to keep in contact until we're all together again."
As the group took their leave, Alphys smiled up at Undyne. "This should be... quite the expedition, huh?"

Papyrus held the biggest, happiest grin. "WE SHALL KEEP HIS HIGHNESS WELL TAKEN CARE OF!" Papyrus happily spoke, flexing non-existant muscles. "AFTER ALL, I WAS AT ONE POINT IN TIME CONSIDERED FOR THE ROYAL GUARD! I'M MORE THAN READY FOR THIS!"

"I don't see how I can get better than my tome," Ray huffed, then started snickering. "Aah, kinda like old times, huh guys? Making plans, figuring out ways to get along... but now we got something bigger than sburb to worry about. Something that you guys are gonna need my doodles for," she grinned epicly, winking. "Thanks Todd, for the reminder. And don't worry- I'll find somewhere to sleep."

"Well then. I dare say our plans are settled. Stay safe out there, little one." Bayonetta adjusted her glasses, nodding at Frisk. "I'll be around this area for the time being, keeping an eye on things."
Asgore smiled. "Thank you both. I appreciate your kindness."
