"Slightly. But I can make the inlay a fabric that is your favored color," Beth answered.

"Sure, I'd be happy to." He smiles at the nervous demon, then turns and leads him out of the back room.
"If it can match my jacket, then I'd really prefer... that..." Her voice trails off as she sees two guys coming from the back. Sure, one was a handsome man, but the other... her cheeks flush red as she tries to act casual. "S-so, uh, yeah, inlay would be best. Would that cost a lot?" She held up a twenty dollar bill. "I got this as a donation... because they thought I was... homeless." Sky groans, burying her face in her palms. "...so embarrassing..."

Disquietude weakly attempted a chuckle as he followed Adrien out, quickly reverting back to his awkward, sad-looking state once they stepped out into the open. He kept his gaze away from the two women in the room, letting Adrien handle the communication and politely awaiting direction. No sense in trying to speak when he had no idea what to say.

"I take your home world's currency as well as Dimensional Dollars. But to be honest it will take a little bit. Won't cost you anything. I have a fabric that is almost identical to your jacket's already in stock," Beth offered. "Hey Adrien. Hey Dis."

"Are you sure?" She frowns a bit, concerned she might accidentally take advantage of the girl.
Adrien, meanwhile, gently nudges Dis, making a motion for him to ask the question they discussed earlier. Hopefully he understands it.

Disquietude waved to Beth, then jumped when Adrien nudged him, then shot him a confused, anxious look. Him? Why did he have to ask? It was Adrien's idea!
"Um..." He fidgeted for a moment, eyes darting this way and that as he fumbled for words. "So, uh... Adrien was... h-he and I were... thinking... if... if you have work to do here... m-maybe he and I could... just... walk around town a bit... do... something or other... m-meet you back here? I dunno... Don't even know where to go... a-and didn't wanna... you know... leave you hanging... but..."

"I am," Beth answered. She looked to the guys. "I recommend going to the park, the movie theater, or the museum. Avoid the apartment complex, Dis. I don't want to see you or Adrien hurt." She had almost a maternal tone to her voice with the last line. "Take a bit of money with you for snacks and other things." The woman turned teen soon darted to go retrieve the aforementioned fabric.

The blonde man frowns a bit, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "Yeah, I don't actually have any money." He turns to Dis, tilting his head questioningly. "Do you?"
Sky's eyes widen, hugging the bill to her chest as she looks hopefully at the other two. If only she had the courage to ask those guys if she could join them.

The park... He was just there earlier with his fellow soldiers, wasn't he? Maybe it was best to avoid there. Sure, he was likely still in his healing process, but the chances of crossing paths with Chicanery there were a distinct possibility. The movie theater and museum sounded interesting, at least. Whatever the case, Disquietude still felt more comfortable following Adrien.
He blinked at Beth, then Adrien, his frown uncomfortable and apologetic. "I... don't really have any need to carry human currency, no... Will we absolutely need it?"

Beth poked her head out of the back room. "The museum is free but you might want to get something at the gift shop. And I think there's a new exhibit they opened about Remnant's Kingdoms," she offered. "Movies still cost a bit to get into. Unless it's matinee night then it's free.... but then there's the snack cost..."

"Hmm... snacks sound good, actually." Adrien says, then glances at the girl with the pony ears, who slowly approached them. "Did you want to come with us?"
She blinks, eyes wide in surprise. "Really? I-I mean, I wouldn't be a burden?"
"I certainly don't think so." He turns and looks at his friend, smiling warmly. "What do you think, Dis?"

"Uhhhhh..." Disquietude nervously looked between Adrien and the girl, hardly even aware that he was slowly inching away from them. Again, far be it from him to be rude, especially if they needed money that this girl was willing to contribute. But... goodness, meeting all these new people was making his head spin. What did he have to do to get some alone time with the one person he knew he could trust?

The girl approaches him, unsuccessfully hiding the blush on her cheeks as she gives him a nervous smile. "S-So, Dis... I like that name..." She mutters to herself a moment before holding out her hand. "I hope we can be friends, and that we get along." Her brow furrows a bit in confusion. "...wait, those two pretty much mean the same thing..."
Adrien is trying his hardest not to smile at the scene before him.

"Um... It's... short for... Disquietude..." The meek demon boy started at the pony girl's hand, slowly raising his own and given her an awkward shake. Guess there was no avoiding the unwanted attention at this point. "It's... nice to... meet you... miss... um... I-I don't think I caught your name."

"Oh, uh, it's Sky. Sky Riverdale." She rubs the back of her head. "Guess I should've lead with that."
