Physical Description
Once an ordinary human, Evan now appears to be a sentient mass of (usually orange; see below) slime that can take on any shape or form. He typically chooses to assume a form reminiscent of his normal self, that being a nearly-six-foot, semi-muscular young man with messy "hair," his only other defining features being eye-shaped indents and a mouth where they would normally be found.
Weapons and Accessories
His primary tool of trade is still the Paramount Key, which allows him to lock or unlock virtually anything, such as doors, gates, hearts, answers, bodies... whether it be natural or ethereal, you name it, this key will fit it. He mostly uses it to pick locks, temporarily lock enemies in place, unlock his or his friends' hidden potential, open portals, and discover the secrets behind metaphorical closed doors. He does have other weapons in the form of key-based swords, his favorite being the Master Morning Star, but he finds it generally difficult to utilize them in his current form.
Abilities/Powers
On top of the abilities he carried over from his original form, –being his innate knowledge of the Paramount Key's functions, his ability to communicate with Carter, and his currently underdeveloped hope powers– Evan, under the influence of limus mold, has acquired an amorphous, semi-solid, blob-like physiology, capable of morphing into any shape or form of his choosing. His cells can compress and expand, allowing him to change his size, are virtually indestructible and immune to pain, and can separate and be summoned back into a single unit instantaneously.
His slime can take on six different forms whenever he absorbs a limus gem, each with their own distinct abilities, denoted by their color:
Red: Acidic, though not as corrosive or fast-acting as his orange form. In this form, he can sense the presence of ale and hear the psychic voice of the queen ala without being vulnerable to her control.
Orange: HIGHLY acidic. His original/default form. Capable of dissolving solid matter within seconds of touching/absorbing it. Any cells that he absorbs and breaks down are integrated into his mass.
Yellow: Acidic, though not as corrosive or fast-acting as his orange form. Each of his cells contains their own individual consciousness, allowing him to detach parts of himself to create sentient duplicates.
Green: Basic. While he is still capable of altering his shape, his outer layer of slime solidifies slightly into a thin, pliable membrane, allowing him to more easily maintain whichever shape he has currently assumed and interact with the world around him.
Blue: Basic. The most fluid form, the one in which he can alter his shape and slither about with the greatest ease and speed. In this form, he can also permanently expel excess cells should he so choose.
Purple: Basic. While he is usually still semi-solid, he can will himself to solidify entirely into a rubberier form, making him tougher, springier, and more elastic than straight-up fluid.
Weaknesses
He is highly vulnerable to temperature extremes; intense cold will freeze him while intense heat will melt him. Most of his forms make it very difficult for him to interact with physical objects (let alone people) without potentially absorbing them, losing his grip on them, or in the case of his acidic forms, dissolving them. His size-changing depends mostly on how many cells he has assimilated into his body; he can't grow much larger than the collective cells he has absorbed, but the more he has, the harder it is to compress himself.
Skills
Evan is pretty strong despite his appearance, even more so than he used to be, and this coupled with his history of stealth missions makes him a great fighter and field agent. He is great in a fist fight and with most close-range weapons, can think on his feet, and often comes up with strategies just moments before he executes them. He is an avid writer and storyteller, talents he hopes to put to use professionally, as well as a hardcore bookworm and pop culture enthusiast. He knows how to play drums and piano, though he's not particularly great at the latter, and he's a pretty decent singer.
Personality
Same as always, Evan has a very friendly and optimistic personality and a strong moral compass, never one to ignore a cry for help. Once he gets going, he'll display fierce determination and focus, but when things go wrong, he tends to be far too hard on himself. His strong sense of loyalty and kind, open-minded nature makes Evan a great friend and dependable ally. However, he's very openly put off by his present form, and while he's willing to comply with it for the sake of protecting his friends and the island, it's clear that he's pretty frustrated with his current situation and fearful of what the future holds.

This current incarnation of Evan is an indirect result of the ale invasion. Shortly after they first arrived, while Evan was out searching for stray wyrms and cocoons, he was struck by the tail end of Koeham's ship, which had broken apart prior to his entry into the island's atmosphere when the queen ala attacked it. The tail of the ship contained (quite possibly) the last traces of limus mold, a bioweapon developed my Koeham's people, which latched onto Evan and transformed him into a living mass of slime. Now that Evan has taken on this form, his next step seems to be utilizing his new abilities to combat the ale and potentially find a means to drive them off the island entirely... not that he has any idea how to do that, but he'll figure it out eventually, right?
