Full Name: Shawna Neliah Jones
Nickname(s): ...to be added, I guess?
Age: 24
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 150 even
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Alliance: Chaotic Good
Home: Nomad, lives in a hot air balloon.
Franchise: Original Character
Physical Description
Shawna has a round face, soft cheeks permanently dusted with a natural blush, with curling pink lips and a wide flat nose. She has one freckle on the right side of her nose, and two more under her left eye. With one white parent and one black parent, her features are most from her mother, while her skin more leans to her father's color. The color of eggshell, but like, a brown egg. Her earlobes are unattached and unpierced. Her brown hair, unruly and kinky, is usually tied back into a poof of a ponytail, though strands did escape. Her eyes are hazel, brown and green, bright and wide, all capped with short lashes and thick brown eyebrows. Her resting expression is normally lightly smiling, but her inner thoughts are easy to read.
Draped over her shoulders is a brown vest, with soft fur lining. It has two pockets on the sides, and one on the inside over her left breast. Sleeveless, so she usually wears a blue long sleeved shirt under it, and a white shirt under that one, for layers. Her pants are grey, loose but tight at the ankles, with drawstrings and deep pockets. Her boots are brown, and old but sturdy. She also regularly wears these heavy gloves for handling fire, but under them, her hands are rough, callused on the pads of her fingers and palm. Marked with tiny scars from various insignificant mishaps.
She wears on average about 4 necklaces at once. Her regular ones are one with a key(she's looking for what it goes to), a dangling triangle, an engagement ring, and an empty one if she finds something she wants to put on a necklace.

Weapons and Accessories
Firstly, I have a list of Shawna's "inventory", what she keeps in her balloon. It would really suck to have to edit this app every time she used something up, so I'll just list her more important belongings. But, if required, I will add all of it. It's just beef jerky and fuel measurements, though.
Her most significant belonging is probably her hot air balloon. Its envelope is red, with yellow stripes, and blue triangles. She made it herself(with parental help) when she was 15, and it hasn't broken down since. It has two ropes on either side of the rigging, attached to the basket, that Shawna can pull to turn. The fuel canister is mounted on the outside, for more basket space. She owns and regularly wears heavy gloves to handle the fire engine.
She has in her possession one Cloak of Foolishness. It's a garment that looks like it's made of pure gold, and may even appear to be a certain magical item, but is just regular thread rubbed down in pyrite. She's aware it's fake, and may try to sell it off.
Lastly but not leastly, she recently acquired twin enchanted swords, Fulmen and Bronte. They're made of a strange silver-gold metal, sharply hooked on the ends. If you bring them together, they look like a lightning bolt. There's some folklore about them, even. When struck against each other, the blades charge with enchanted electricity. Shawna has no idea what they're worth, what they can do. She hasn't even taken them out of the sheath yet(as of this writing). So for now, she only fights with fists.
Abilities/Powers
Despite her profession, and use of charms, she doesn't have much magic of her own. Her mother was a skilled wix with an emphasis on aer/ventus magic, but not much was passed down. She can make charms, but hardly strong, and making more than a couple a day can really wear her out.
Weaknesses
She's not a very good swimmer, simply for the fact of water pressure. She's okay with surface swimming, but if you've fallen into deep water, don't expect her to be able to save you. It's pretty easy to mess her up if you call her out on her insecurities. Also, she's very insecure. She's also a bit clumsy around people - a nomadic life with only spurts of human contact could do that to you. She's very set in her routines, she enjoys the strange monotony her life had fallen into, and yes, that's a weakness.
Skills
She has a higher tolerance for thinner air than most. She can fly a hot air balloon, and has a First Aid license. She's no heavyweight, but she's not made of paper either, she can hold a little in a fight. Pretty good navigational abilities. A tolerance for wind, and cold. A pretty good saleswoman, but it helps that most of what she sells is made of rare metals. And um, I dunno where to put this, but despite being accustomed to the chill of the upper atmosphere, she also works daily with open flames. So the type of heat that would harm her would be type of heat that would harm any common human, it's not like she's weak to it.
Personality
Firstly, Shawna is in a profession of people called Sky Explorers. They roam the clouds in search of treasures left by a god. This god is kind, and these items are gifts from his followers throughout the ages. He allows Sky Explorers to take as they wish freely. However, not all of them are doing this for devout purposes. Shawna would be one of those, and as such it affects her personality greatly.
If you were to describe Shawna as "a swindler that exploits religion for profit", that would be an accurate statement, I suppose. She's definitely not as into it as she leads on. Of course, she believes it - who else could put all this stuff up here, and have it stay? She's just... not into it. She's in this for the money. It's the only way she knows how to take care of herself.
That's not to say that she doesn't love flight, though. If Shawna could stay aloft in her hot air balloon with no worries for the rest of her life, she'd be happy. Of course, her head must come out of the clouds to get fuel and supplies every so often.
She's pretty clever, but not smart, if that makes sense. She knows how to navigate the skies, and can usually get herself out of jams. But if met by a test of wit, like I dunno a sphinx or something, she's probably dead. She's not dumb, she knows her 2+2s, but she may have dropped out of highschool. She's charming, to some. To some she's annoying. But that's an individual preference.
She has an average moral code, and will help when she can. However, when helping will put her in harm's way, or maybe if it won't benefit her in any way, she won't. She's not really the type of person you can count on, unless you're wanting of gold, in which case she has that on lock. She has really... weird loyalty. She looks out for herself, a survivor foremost.
She's kind, and nice enough. But not out of natural cheeriness, more out of a personal obligation. She feels like she should be nice, so she acts accordingly. She's easy to make friends with, but hard to stay with. As time goes on, it becomes more obvious that she's faking. Also, her MBTI type is INTJ.
History
Born to Sky Explorer Jasmine Jones and her husband, Evan Jones, in the dead of night between August 22nd and 23rd. She came into this world in the basket of a hot air balloon, one of life's funny ironies.
She spent most of her childhood on the ground, living with her father. But as she grew older, her mother took her out more and more. By the time she was 10, she was practically first mate, and by 15, she'd built a hot air balloon of her own. Her father always wanted to get a blimp, so they could all stay together, but this never came to pass. At 18, Shawna decided it was time to fly the nest and find her own route, rather than follow her mother's. She floated away, with promises to see them again.
The first place she touched down was a city called Tuerie, and she liked it so much she decided to to design her whole route around it. She'd land in Tuerie, get supplies and set out, and a week later come back with things to sell for more money for more supplies, and it would cycle like that. It may seem monotonous, but she was happy that way. The adventures she had in the clouds were enough to hold her over.
In Tuerie, she met a man with his feet on the ground named Steven. They became friends, then more than, then got engaged. Then, they got unengaged. Steven wanted her to stay on the ground more, and Shawna wanted to bring him up into the clouds more. It just didn't work out, and it was ended mutually and almost amicably. They still talked, Shawna brought him gifts from her journeys every so often, but it was never the same.
She had other friends, too. She brought many people special items, as gifts or as wares, and she loved that. She loved it because it gave her an excuse to go out, finally, a reason. She practically had a delivery route at this point. She was just setting off on a new flight to find something special for a dear friend, when suddenly, a mysteriously strong gust of wind knocked her off course...
Other
She's only seen TV for kids, when she was a kid. She really likes Blues Clues and Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. She doesn't often use referential humor, but these subjects are the only thing she really knows well enough to make such jokes about.
I listen to a lot of music, and as such am able to find songs that fit the vibes of a certain character, sometimes even the whole style of an artist can line up. Shawna, strangely enough, is represented by songs that seem across the board - I Won't by Little Mix, anything by Ke$ha that's deconstructed, and a cover of Higher Love by Hannah Kirby(a contestant on the 8th season of American TV show "The Voice").
More elaboration on the Sky Explorer concept: It's only one subset of Explorers. The story goes, the god of the sky Varos, is a very kind god that dotes on his followers. His devotees would make gifts for him, or offer up their belongings, and he always takes them graciously, sticking them up in his clouds like a parent putting art on the fridge. He would gain very valuable gifts, and too many to count. As time went by, man invented ways to go higher and higher into the skies. They found that he'd kept all he'd been given. At first, they took nothing, just looking with awe, traveling to the skies as an act of devout worship. But people began to see things they liked, inherent human materialism getting the better of them. People started to take things, and priests worked frantically to appease the god that had been stolen from, asking for forgiveness for other's sins. As it turned out, Varos was totally cool with it. Almost incredulously so, as if he would ever not be totally cool with it? He kept such things because he was amazed with the devotion and beauty given to him, but objects are happier in the hands of those that can use them. And so a movement began.
