"One of the canines in particular is required for me to usurp control from Lucifer. He is not really a canine though, but is traveling in such a form due to his own shapeshifting powers." He was not going to admit on Mojo's scheme, but he also had to look out for himself. "I was trying to reclaim that canine from Mojo here, but then the kid came up and... swindled him away, you could say?"

Mojo turned sharply to glare at Leon next. "YOU will not have them either!" he screeched, hefting up the Anubis dog head. "If you are not willing to cooperate with me, I'll have no choice but to add you simpletons to my canine army!!"

Marco stared at Mojo a moment in confusion. While he was busy with his threat directed at Leon, his eyes traveled from the Anubis Dog Head, and the large amounts of dogs that he couldn't believe he hadn't noticed before now. He looked at the dogs, examining them, his ear twitching ever so slightly...
And suddenly, he felt it.
Growing up with a famous warrior as a Grandfather often did wonders for Marco's self-esteem, but it also did something else. Marco had quite the skill of sniffing out a rat, but his ability was something of a sixth sense somewhat. Marco could suddenly feel trouble was right nearby.
With this info, he thought hard, putting two and two together...
He had a few theories on what Mojo meant, but he still wasn't entirely sure. Did that statue really have the power to... No it sounded silly. Even though he felt a magic presence from the statue, it often took Lamia's, a dangerous monster back in Ivalice, a lot more magic then what he sensed here, to transform people into frogs... It couldn't be possible... Could it?
But enough of that...
Bringing himself back to reality, he held up his hands innocently, waving them back and forth. "There's no need to get angry, Mr. Jojo, I was simply curious, kupo." Marco thought a moment, "Do you have some way to track this boy that swindled you?" He looked out among the dogs before finding one that appeared to have been a blood-hound.
Only barely recognizing the species, he pulled the canine forward. "If you have a good smelling sample of the boy who swindled from you, or even one of the dogs that got taken... Mayhaps this dog can find him for you kupo."

"......................BUT OF COURSE!!!" Mojo smacked his forehead. "Why did I not think of it SOONER!?!" He lifted the Anubis Dog head into the air, and its eyes, along with the army of dogs, began to glow a bright red. They instantly hurried over, and Mojo held out the bag of yen in front of the leader's nose.
"Go on, take a whiff..." he coaxed the canine into absorbing the scent. "..and GET THAT DREADED LITTLE BRAT!!!"
Upon that command, the army was off. Cackling, Mojo jumped on the back of one of the bigger ones and rode his army through the dirty streets.

(OOC: Hey, what's with that 'Ghetto Postah!' underneath my author name? I don't get it, I'm no backstreet boy... XD Entirely.)
Marco looked surprised at what had just occured; did Mojo just control those dogs?!?!? "Oh, kupo!!" he groaned as he jumped on top of a Great Dane dog hitching a ride.
'Bad! This is very bad!' He thought, unbelieving what he had just done. 'I don't know who that swindler is, but he's gonna be in trouble when this dumb monkey finds him. Kupo-po!' He shook his head. 'I need to help this swindler escape. The enemy of my enemy, is my friend. Maybe if this swindler went against Mojo, he won't be so bad.'
He reached for the inside of his jacket where something clunky awaited use. 'Mojo's proven more dangerous then I thought, kupo! If I have to, I'll put a stop to all this madness myself.' He started running battle strategies through his head; he'd need a way to stop Mojo without harming him. He had always been taught that stopping an enemy was priority one, not kill them. His weapons bullets were non-lethal then many ways, but he still needed a way to end this with minimal injury.
Keeping this thought close to mind, he held on to the Great Dane's fur and rode after Mojo.

(XDDD It's your ranking based on how many posts you've made. Saturn gave those ranks goofy names. XD Do we switch back to Wally and the dogs now?)

(Ah, I see...
Anyways, I suppose we should switch back to the Yin Yang twins and the heroic hounds; it won't be long before Mojo finds them with that Blood hound leading the pack.)

(yeah, that's what I was thinking)
Here is where Double D got stuck. Getting the idea of writing on a piece of paper was one thing, but executing it was another; it was difficult without apposable thumbs.
Grumbling to himself, he took the crumbling piece of charcoal into his mouth and attempted to scribble on the paper. No matter what, he HAD to get his message through to them!

Wally stared at the dog curiously, his eyes growing ever wider when he realized what the dog was trying to do... Or at least, he figured it out when he saw that the dog had flawlessly, but still rather sloppily, wrote down a word. Wally tried his best to decipher the word when he did, he realized it was INDEED an actual word. "HOLY~! OTTO!!!!" He cried like a giddy child, "GET DOWN HERE!!! YOU'VE GOTTA SEE THIS!!!!!"
"DON'T BOTHER ME WALLY!! I'M MEDITATING!!!!" Otto called back from downstairs.
"SERIOUSLY MATE, GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE AND LOOK!!!!"
"I TOLD YOU CALL ME WHEN LUNCH IS HERE!!!"
"WELL IT'S HERE MATE, NOW COME ON!!!!"
"HA HA REAL FUNNY!!!"
Wally looked at wits end, realizing that Otto was in no mood to listen. "But-But~!" However, his attention was caught back on the dog.
He leaned forward trying to catch something in his energy senses that seemed out of the ordinary. He sensed something of a magical energy going about him, that seemed to mask some other energy underneath it, but besides that, his energy felt like that of a normal dog. "What... ARE you? One of those..." He smiled so widely he almost looked like a crazy giddy five year old kid. "Mutated super genius dog's like I read about in those picture books I found?!?"
Indeed, on one of the couches that looked like it had been sat in recently, there were quite a few graphic novels, comics and lord knows whatever other kind of comic related books there were. A lot of them were Sci-Fi, but most looked like Fantasy; Wally's favorite thus far.
(OOC: be sure to note what Double D has writen thus far so we can keep up.)

" Mutated dogs!?!" Ed instantly jumped up from his seat, his own dorky senses tingling. " WHERE?" Double D gave Wally a very strange face, then shook his head, motioning to the paper. The farthest he could get so far was the word 'human'; that enough would probably lead them to believe he had other, important things to say, like why he was currently a canine and, more importantly, the true story behind the Nest Jewels.

Wally stared at the dog, looking depressed that this wasn't the case... However, his head turned to the paper that Double D had used, and was now motioning too. Slowly, unsure, he sat himself down and looked at the paper closely, the word 'Human' seemed to bounce off the sheet and into his mind. (Not literally of course, figuratively.)
His eyes widened somewhat as he thought some more about what this could mean... They widened even more when a theory came to mind. He looked to Double D, and tried to make sense of the energy he was sensing... What WAS that energy inside the dog, being masked by the strange magic?
Was it possible?
[shadow=yellow,left,300][glow=yellow,2,300]'Believe it Wally! Believe it!'[/glow][/shadow]Came a voice that Wally hadn't heard in years. No-one else had heard it, as the voice had originated from inside his head.
Slowly Wally's mouth moved, and Double D must've felt relief from what he said. However when he said it, horror seemed to mount in his voice. He hadn't seen magic like this before, the magic veil over the dogs form was now decidedely evil... VERY EVIL... And he had seen some pretty strange and evil stuff before.
"Are... Are you... Human?"

Leon grabbed Mojo and growled. "Those other dogs are of no use to me, but Felix is mine... You understand that he is crucial to my own plans... and one 'freak' will not hinder you much. I will take what's mind whether I also help you in your plans or not."
"You finally got it," Masahiro said with a -_- face on him even though they were just barks.

"YES!!" Double D instantly perked up, nodding and wagging his tail in confirmation.
"...Wow," Eddy blinked. "You actually got through to him."
"'Cause Double D can do anything, Eddy!" Ed happily cried.

Wally stared in exasperation at this revelation. Slowly he leaned forward, giving Double D a curious look. "Well... If you're... Human." He spoke nice and slow, just in case Double D had lost some understanding of the English language from his transformation. "Then, who else here is? Are you all..?" Turned out he didn't need Double D to answer him, he picked up Ed, frowning somewhat sadly; was he human too?
... ... ... ...
Realization struck, " T_T Aw... And I so, wanted a regular pet..." He whined rather pathetically.

(OH. OH. OHHHHHHH. I know how to solve Wally's pet dilemma ^w^)
"Awww..." Ed whined with him.
"It can't be helped," Double D shook his head regretfully. "We have our own lives back at home."
