Sighing, Perceval held Masahiro back, shaking his head and grinning. "Non, Masahiro."
"...!" Mumbling to himself, Eddy pulled away from 4, glaring slightly.
"..Davis, get the hell out of here," Raz muttered. "Nobody cares."
While his friends dealt with everyone, Double D took in a few deep breaths, trying to relax. Surely they'd be understanding... surely they wouldn't judge...
Facing the door, he stared at the knob for a minute before muttering embarrasedly, "...a little help?"
"...oh!" Surprisingly understanding, Ed opened the door, allowing his dear friend to slowly step out.
Courage gasped, but refrained from screaming, noticing the boy's dolefully downcast gaze as he awaited everyone's reaction.

"Wow..." 4 muttered. "Your ears look like Otakon. No offense."
"Did... did you just tell me to shut up?" Davis aske--
4, not even paying attention to the narrator's attention to Davis, approached Edd and poked his ears. "Wow. They're real."

The three stared at Double D, eyes widened, unsure what to make of what they were looking at.
Otto looked nonplussed nor surprised. Shocked maybe but not surprised. To him, this was a slightly less, he dare not say it out loud, extreme version of the Zin Oversoul mode. Either way, it was definately not what he expected.
Wally however...
The poor boy went pale like a sheet.
"Holy Yin..." There's something you need to know about Wally. Being naturally immersed in the light element blessed to him by Yin, he had naturally brought about energy senses, but along with it, a hatred for the macabre, and dark. Along with this he feared monsters with every fiber of his being.
Suffice it to say, the only thing that kept Wally from going into hysterics, was the fact that he sensed an amazing amount of holy energy, and the fact that it came from the strange creature. "Double D... Is that you?"
Otto slapped Wally upside the head. "Yes it is you idiot! Be polite!"
If Double D was disheartened by Wally's reaction, he possibly was reheartened by Helga's response.
The little girl didn't look like she was affected in the least by it. In fact, she walked up to Double D, Courage in her arms, and bowed. "It is nice to meet you, sir." She smiled comfortingly, understanding. "Trust me when I say that I don't care what you look like."
Wally quickly agreed trying his best to calm down for Double D's sake. Monster's may have freaked him out but that didn't mean, he couldn't control himself. "Yeah, what she said."

Double D visibly flinched at Wally's reaction, pulling away from 4 in chagrin. He moved to escape back into the bedroom...
...when Helga's normal greeting brought his gaze back up at last.
"...oh..." he quietly replied. "I...I'm so sorry you have to see me like this... This isn't what I usually look like, honestly."
"We're not sure of the details, but apparently he has to go through this in order to become a true angel," Fleetfoot explained. "Since he was born from a human and all. It shouldn't last very long."

"But you've got those cool ears..." 4 muttered, almost hypnotized. In a daze, he stumbled forward and grabbed one of the points to feel it. "Heh..."

"But you've got those cool ears..." 4 muttered, almost hypnotized. In a daze, he stumbled forward and grabbed one of the points to feel it. "Heh..." "Who needs to be controlled now?" Masahiro asked, dragging away a flailing Felix. "Touchy much?" Trevor muttered, seeing Felix the way he was. "The things we do for love," Nazz replied.

4 gathered the situation and let go of the sock-head's ear as quickly as he could. "Sorry. I was just checking for earwigs. They'll have more places to hide now."
"Yeah, right. Who do you think you're fooling?"
"Anyways, it's good to see that nobody's freaking out," 4 changed the subject. "But I am a little concerned about that purple dog. That color can't be natural..."
"Hey! Now even the narrator's ignoring me!"

Sweatdropping, Double D regarded 4 with a tense, embarrassed look. "...please let go of my ear, if you don't mind," he tightly pleaded.

"He did," Masahiro said to Double D slightly.
"Someone was on crack coloirng Courage, I believe," Felix said. "He's a good dog, but I do agree that purple fur doesn't seem... natural."

Helga only held Courage higher. "I don't care. I think it's cute." She pat Courage on the head, smiling all the while. "Besides he's such a good dog despite it."
Wally, though still a little pale, managed to calm himself down. He bowed to Double D. "Double D, please forgive me..." He raised back up and smiled a little. "I didn't recognize you at first. I'm sorry for making you feel bad."
Otto shook his head, "Wally has a natural fear of the macabre, that's why you'll never catch him dead watching a horror movie." A shake of his head and a groan let them know something else. "He can't help himself, being so close to the light has made darkness and horror somewhat unknown to him. So don't hold this against him, it's not his fault."

Courage grinned at Helg'as approval, sticking his tongue out at Felix.
"Nobody CARES, Davis," Raz muttered. "For the umpteenth time."
"I... I understand..." Double D replied softly, looking away. "I... didn't know I looked so different..."
"Your nose is kinda flattened out a bit, actually..." Skywise noted upon inspection. Indeed, his oblong nose did seem a little flatter than it was before he had last turned away.
"But you'll always be able to tell it's Double D 'cause of the hat!" Ed cheerfully explained. "Big giveaway."

Wally chuckled at what Ed said "Yeah. I shoulda noticed the hat earlier in that case!" The two laughed, leaving Otto to sweatdrop; were those two really that similar? They certainly had the same airheaded traits.
Helga, meanwhile scratched the side of her head in thought. "But, why would Double D need to transform? If he was an angel already what's the point?"
Otto thought a moment, before snapping his fingers. "Mayhaps it's similar to going through puberty? That would be reasonable... I suppose."
Wally, after calming himself, turned to Double D. "By the by Double D, where's your daughter Marion? I haven't got to meet her yet."

"It's to complete the transformation," Raz replied. "Dunno why he has to turn into a monster before he can become a full angel, but whatever."
"Ahhh... Nazz should have her right now... I'd introduce her myself, but as you can see... forgive me, I don't wish to... frighten her... you understand."

"Um... that dog's got a pretty big tongue." 4 pointed out. It took a lot to disturb an experienced assassin. A purple dog with a large, human tongue was just about enough. "I-I think I'm going to leave... maybe buy some pointed ears at a costume shop if I have any cash..."

Wally nodded, "Don't worry, I got it, mate." He turned to the others, scratching the side of his head. "Sooooooo... Anyone want to give me the grand tour? Don't want to wander anywhere or touch something you won't want me too."
"He's infamous for that." Otto monotoned.
Helga turned to look at Wally. "I'd actually like to meet this baby too."
