"Here she is," Fleetfoot reentered the living room after finding Nazz, holding the precious child in his arms, who stared at the newcomers with big eyes of confusion. Eyes that definitely resembled her father's. "Say hello to Marion."

"Hey... you have pointy ears, too..." 4 muttered. He almost took a step towards the elf, but wound up bumping into Davis, who he had not noticed.
"I remember when I was a baby. My parents had already trained me in the difficult art of coffee preperation. It was a bit hard for a toddler to grasp, but I was no ordinary child."
Unfortunately, nobody was paying attention to old what's-his-name.

Courage grinned at Helg'as approval, sticking his tongue out at Felix. "Nobody CARES, Davis," Raz muttered. "For the umpteenth time." "I... I understand..." Double D replied softly, looking away. "I... didn't know I looked so different..." "Your nose is kinda flattened out a bit, actually..." Skywise noted upon inspection. Indeed, his oblong nose did seem a little flatter than it was before he had last turned away. "But you'll always be able to tell it's Double D 'cause of the hat!" Ed cheerfully explained. "Big giveaway." "What happened to appearence doesn't matter?" Masahiro asked, rapping on Felix's head a bit. "I was just... saying," Felix said, grabbing Masahiro's fist as it almost went down on the top of his head again. "Stop it." "Now you're a hypocrit, Felix, a blood hypocrit, and you must be superficial if you care about appearence." "I really don't," Felix groaned. "But in all honesty, how many dogs have you seen with purple fur?" "How many boyfriends have you seen turn into a creature from horror films?" Masahiro replied. "This is about to get ugly," Trevor said. "Percy, Double D, why can your boyfriends be such twits?" |

Perceval shurgged while Double D sighed.
"Is it me, or are ALL angels so quick to anger?" Skywise pondered.
"No kidding," Fleetfoot replied to 4, Marion still staring at all the newcomers.

Wally gave the child a wide smile. "AWWWW!! Look at you!!" He walked to little Marion, giving her a cute look, speaking in a babyish tone. "HI there! My names Wally! You so cute!!" he held out a finger and slipped it in Marion's hand, allowing her to grip it. Once the girl was properly gripping, Wally wiggled his finger, shaking her hand lightly. "How are you?"
Otto was looking more and more nausiated with the display as things went along. "Oy..."
Helga also came up smiling to Marion. "I'm Helga, Marion, and this is Courage." She cooed a little as she smiled to the little child.

Marion giggled at Wally's greeting, babbling happily in baby-talk. Courage grinned brightly, waving a paw to her a little shyly.

"Oh, so do I, Trev," Double D sighed. He kept his distance from the group, making sure Marion couldn't see him, but still smiled nonetheless. "...she's beautiful, isn't she..?"

Wally continued to play with Marion, playing 'Peekaboo' with her. "Where's the baby?" Wally said gleefully before moving his hand away to reveal a goofy face to Marion, "There she is!"
"Indeed she is." Otto said, appearing next to Double D, "Forgive me for not joining in with Wally in overgreeting little angel, I'm just not good with kids." He shrugged a little, "Anyways back in the Hall of Records, I looked around as best I could but couldn't find any records of Gria citizens on Dimensional Island." He groaned "Nothing more then a waste of time."

"...is that so?" Double D sighed as Marion laughed in the background. "A shame. I thought we had a lead there."
Ed nodded. "Yeah. Sorry I didn't tell ya, we got back late."
"Huh?" Many of the others were confused.
"We're looking for a certain individual," Double D explained. "We don't know much about her; only that she is of the Gria race and that she's in terrible danger right now."
Ed nodded eagerly. "She's being held by that Him guy I told you about! To, like, manipulate ANOTHER guy into doing what he wants and stuff!"

Otto scowled deeply. "Get in line kid, if I EVER see Him again... Well..." He sneered as he cracked his knuckles. "I'm gonna make sure Hell seems more a fresh spring breeze, by the time I'm through with him."
Wally turned from Marion, and over to Otto. "Mate, I don't like Him anymore then you do, but don't you think that sounds a little harsh?"
Helga frowned a little, "If what you guys have mentioned of this person is ANY indication, he'd more then deserve it, I think."

Double D nodded. "As far as we know, his goal is to allow the Dark insect invasion to continue. Which is something we can't allow him to d...!!!"
Raz sat up at his rapid change of expression. "...Double D?"
"...ahh.... owww...!!" He leaned forward, holding his lower back in pain. "Ahh! It's... stuck! Gah!"
"H-hang on, Double D!!" Ed and Eddy were quickly behind him, inspecting the area. When the discovery was made, Eddy grimaced, but Ed was quicker to react. At the sound of tearing cotton, Double D let out a breath of relief, and behind him curled out a medium-sized, lean, fleshy tail.
"...gross."

"I've seen worse," Masahiro said. "The transformation is definently monstrous, but nothing akin to a true demon... and unlike a true demon, your eventually go back to normal, if not become more beautiful due to the radiance angels naturally give off."
"Egotistical much?" Trevor asked, his eyebrows rising.
"No. We come off as radiant due to our position in our father's servitude," Masahiro said.
