Wolt stared at him for a moment or two.
"...You're-- S-so you're an Angel?"
This made a lot of sense, actually.

Pit paused, glancing back at his wings breifly. He thought that was pretty obvious, but didn't say so, remaining polite.
"...heh, guilty as charged," he chuckled. "In a less religious sense, more or less."

"Kupo, kupo, kupo!" Marco finally managed to detatch a small piece of the crystal walls off before collecting it. His eyes were a tad bit starry as he smiled widely. Pulling out a small hammer, he lightly tapped the crystal. A light ting followed.
"Perfect! Now let's see here, kupo..." He looks around a moment. "I could carry it in my pocket... But then again... What if wanted to carry some more, for some extra money on the side?" He thought some more to himself, muttering lightly.
That was about when he heard Wolt and Pit's exchange once more. Turning to them, he looked a bit excited. "An angel, eh? Wow that's pretty cool, kupo." He walked over to the gang, pocketing the small crystal he had collected. "You know? I've met another angel once. Two of em, actually kupo." He looked between the two, "Ever hear of Felix Falora, or Masahiro? From what I hear, those two are guardian angels of a kind, kupo. Got to meet them when all of Void Cities population was transformed into dogs. Their a couple of strong warriors they are kupo."

Wolt swallowed thickly, suddenly nervous, and when he spoke his tone was filled with a hesitant kind of quiet awe.
"...I've never met an angel before."
He looked up at Marco.
"And you say you've met two? Elimine..."

Pit smiled. "Well, now you say you HAVE met one!" He turned to Marco. "More angels? Huh. Sounds interesting."

Marco nodded at Pit’s statement, “Yes tell me about it kupo.” He pocketed the crystal he had managed to remove, before rubbing his chin in thought. “I mean, I’ve always thought angels existed in some form or another, but to see, not one, but TWO, of the real thing in the exact same day?” He smiled a little. “It was quite the experience kupo.” He nodded in agreement to his own statement, before walking off, “Sorry just thought I’d let you know, kupo-po.”
He then continued at his work, picking at the crystals at the wall with little problem.

"...hmm... I might have to look into that...Everyone else should still be in Angel Land..." Pit mused, then shrugged. "But then again, maybe they're just from another world."
He paused when he realized he was briefly ignoring Wolt. He swiftly turned and gave the archer a nervious grin.

Wolt swallowed thickly, and searched for something to say as he tried his best to return the favour.
"Um, should I, should I be be bowing or something?" he joked.
Wolt decided that yes, he was the biggest idiot in Pherae and all the world.

Wolt had to give a small smile at that.
"You really are like Master Roy." He glanced down to where their hands were joined, then back up to Pit's eyes and grinned. "He hated our formalities, too."

Pit's expression shifted at those... cold words. He had not expected that.
He had every urge to deman why, to be angry and upset with the archer, when he began to realize what he was doing. He was instead hit with a wave of guilt, drawing his hand away from Wolt's.
"I... I'm sorry..."

Wolt's gut filled with guilt as well. He moved his hand as if to take back Pit's own, but caught himself.
"I apologize, Lord Pit. Please don't be bitter," he tried. The young archer looked the other boy in the eyes. "I really do like you, you know, but I'm a serf. I can't even be friends with someone I love like a brother because of my class--I grew up to know that both you and Master Roy deserve better company." Hesitantly, he put a hand on Pit's shoulder. "Please understand that I don't want this anymore then you do."
