Needless to say, the first thing Wolt did when Pit hit solid ground was to empty his breakfast behind a rather large, nearby rock.

Wolt groaned.
"Pretty much, yeah." He spat and wiped the sick from his mouth. "How can Pegasus Knights do it? It's more terrifying then Sue's horse..." The last part was mumbled, and Wolt quickly shut his eyes tightly to try and avoid the oncoming waves of nausea.

Pit laughed. "I know, wierd word, huh? It's just means exploring in caves. Don't ask me about the root of the word because I have NO idea."

"Kupo, kupo! Spelunking trip, kupo, kupo!"
The two were passed by what appeared to be a humanoid stuffed animal wearing a miner's hat and carrying a back pack that was almost twice as big as himself.
Now as odd as it may sound, given how Marco had been in mourning for his friends, he had recently ran into (Gasp and shock!) his childhood pal Issac, whom had been in a restaurant along with his (Clears throat) 'Date' Luna. It had been a happy reunion, filled with much hugs, happy chatter, dinner, and excited kupos; guess whom the kupos came from.
What was even better then that however was the fact that Issac had told the Moogle, with Luna getting a refill from the soft drink machine, that he had been thinking about proposing to the girl...
Such a notion had sent Marco in near hysterics. Such a big step for his old friend to take that much was for sure! And just when he thought that it couldn't get any better, the hume asked his old friend if he could possibly discover a location where a gem could be found for the ring. It took a bit of work, but Marco was finally able to discover the 'Cave'; a place that was hidden in a bottomless valley, that was rumored to be flooded with treasure somewhere deep inside.
Wow, two good things stuffed together in one trip, finding a gem for a ring AND Spelunking (Which used to be Marco's favorite past-time when he was in the mechanic academy at the city of Goug). How could this get any better?
Mind you, he called up Issac about this cave, but he had decided to go on ahead to the cave; you know, a pre-excavation in some cases. As he walked into the cave, he immediately took notice of Pit and Wolt, whom stood at the entrance, staring at the creature that had just passed them by with either a strange curiosity.
The moogle decided ignoring them would be rude, so he turned back to them tipping his miner's cap. "Oh! Sorry about that. Didn't see you there, kupo."

Pit stared at Marco for a moment, blinking, then shrugged. He'd seen wierder things before. "It's no problem."

[Marco would honestly look more like a rabbit, then a bear, just so it's clear.]
He nodded exciteably as he motioned to the cave. "So let me guess... You two are hoping to go on a Spelunking trip yourselves huh, kupo?" He grinned a little. "I know I am. I'm hoping to find some gemstones, I hear this place has all KINDS of treasure somewhere inside, kupo."

Pit turned to Wolt. Honestly, he had been hoping for a little... alone-time with the archer. Oh well. It was dark in the caves. Maybe it could work out after all.
Slowly, he nodded to Marco. "...Sure."

Wolt quickly re-hinged his metaphorically dropped jaw and nodded politely at the small creature, smiling. It was actually kind of adorable....
