Yusuke hesitantly picked the sword up. It's not that he wanted to DESTROY it... it just made him extremely uncomfortable. Especially to hold.
"I know how to get from here to a rainforest... and a BIT of my way around the city. But other than that, we're pretty much directionless." Yusuke responded, sweatdropping.
"For the most part, I say we just wander and hope I don't get attacked again. Yes. I mean I. You're in no position to fight, in my opinion. And as LEADER of this partnership-deal-thing, I say I handle all the bad guys that we possibly run into." Yusuke stated, looking as serious as he had been in the fight with Hi'ar.
"I don't need a repeat of what happened with Kuwabara in the Dark Tournament..."

Ginger would have loved to argue, but the human had a point. The best she could hope to do was some long range attacks, hoping that it wouldn't draw attention to her. She could still support him, but she wouldn't say that. Mr. "leader" would probably forbid her from doing it. Wouldn't stop her, but still...
She finished the thoughts with a nod, although she was eyeing how carefully he was holding the sword. She didn't ask about the Dark Tournament. It seemed a sensitive subject. She waited for him to take point.

Yusuke walked ahead of the Yokai, making sure not to hold the sword too close to him. It wasn't ENTIRELY his fault... but it was pretty friggin disturbing.
"Also... I don't know if I said it before, but... thanks for... y'know, jabbing the sword into the beast's back. Not that I couldn't have handled it myself, but still... thanks. Tell anyone I say that and I'll break your other legs." Yusuke noted dangerously.
Because everyone knows Yusuke saying something NICE would ruin his rep.

Ginger smiled. She got the real meaning behind the words. It was probably as close as Urameshi was able to get to "charming". She hopped after him. She could tell the sword freaked him out, but chose not to say anything. It obviously wasn't going to harm him.
Even with her accelerated healing, however, the leg would take a week to get better... unless they could stumble upon someone who could heal.

It had been HOURS. They could've covered SO MUCH ground during the elapsed time. So... why were they still in the graveyard?
"I'm sick and tired of wandering around this STUPID graveyard carrying this STUPID sword that keeps shocking me because it's so STUPID." Yusuke raged, continuing his trudging.
"And I'm tired because I had to fire multiple Rei Guns at those STUPID evil Yokai and that STUPID demon-thing. STUPID." He was actually having to nearly drag the poor sword.
"And I just KNOW some villain's going to pop up and make me have to save our asses again... oh, sorry. Some STUPID villain." Yusuke continued.
"Probably smarter than the last guy, though. Maybe even a sentient virus of some sort... still. I'm tired of all this STUPID bad luck. THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT, BOTAN!"
Yeah... time lapses don't always work out for Yusuke...

Zero had materialized in the cemetary after teasing Mandark a final time. It was rather dead as far as computer signals went, the only thing working there being Mandark's cameoflauged surveilance system. There was a presence hanging over the area that reminded him of the powers of some of the legends. Darkrai came to mind.
He saw some people walking by. Shiny Ninetales? Looked like that rarity wasn't limited to his world. She was limping and following along after a boy Zero presumed to be her trainer. And he was ranting rather amusingly. But when he said the line about sentient virus... well, that caught Zero off guard. But it didn't take long for him to realize the boy was indeed just ranting. Sentient virus was probably just the most off the wall thing his mind had come up with.
It was quite to Zero's advantage that he was a virus. While he had a mind, he had no soul. He had not spirit. So there was little chance of the two catching onto his presence. He smirked. Time to play...
He strolled behind a masoleum and discreetly pointed at one of the surveilance cameras in the area. He wasn't harming it, just using it.
In front of Yusuke a rock popped up and turned "towards" him. In front being directly in front so that he was either going to see it or trip over it. But the manipulation of the system would not go unseen by Mandark, and possibly anyone using his system as well.

Yusuke was too busy ranting to do more important things, like look down. Thus, he had an EPIC fall. One full of flailing and more than few swears.
"ALRIGHT, WHO DID THAT?" He looked around in multiple directions.
"WAS IT YOU, STUPID SW-GAH." Right. Bad idea to insult zappy sword.

Ginger winced as Urameshi face planted. She hopped forward and looked at the "rock". It looked off, but she was more concerned about Yusuke.
"Urameshi-kun?"
Zero raised an eyebrow. He hadn't noticed it before, but the Ninetales was wild. As for the talking in human, it wasn't too big a deal. The Houndoom he'd run into earlier had as well. But this was all rather boring, as it were.
Zero stood up and used his digital powers to get the dirt off his outfit. He walked out from behind the masoleum, but with Ginger distracted, Yusuke in pain, and emitting no spirit energy... no one noticed it until he was behind them.
"Yo," he said in an informal greeting. He'd lifted his hand with his pointer and middle finger up in a sort of wave.
(OOC: I'll let Yusuke react before Ginger. XD)

"Yo? What are you, Kuwabara?" Yusuke asked irately, getting back to his feet.
"Who are you, anyway? Appearing right after I fall over a rock that appears out of NOWHERE is pretty suspicious, y'know?" Yusuke was, unconsciously, moving between Ginger and this... odd fellow.
"If you wanna piss me off, this is a GOOD way to do it." Yusuke noted, keeping his gun-hand relaxed. This fellow COULD be a good guy. He COULD be overreacting. Couldn't know for sure.

Zero stepped back and put up his arms, "Sorry, wasn't trying to be rude. You okay?"
Ginger had turned. This guy seemed... wrong. And not in a yokai kind of wrong. In a not there kind of wrong. Zero looked down at Ginger before looking back at Yusuke, "Your Ninetales is pretty hurt. Run out of potions?"
Yes, Zero was fully aware Ginger was not Yusuke's Ninetales. Didn't mean it made it any less fun to pretend.
Ginger kept quiet. If this man wanted to think she was a trained Pokemon, she would let him. It would give her a chance to observe. She had seen Yusuke taking up a defensive, but that was the type of thing a good trainer would do. It led to the illusion. Not that Zero was falling for it mind you.
"Relax, I'm not going to eat you," Zero said.

"Er... yeah. I ran out of 'potions'. Good thing, though. Little Yokai here was getting addicted to them, taking them out of my pack when she wasn't hurt. It was for her own well-being." If it was decided that they would pretend that Ginger was his Pokemon, he could at least get a bit of fun out of it.
"Oh, I'm not worried about you eating me or her. I'm worried about HER eating YOU. A feisty one, she is." Yusuke's cat-like look was back in full.
"But if you have some... 'potions' on you, that'd be great."

Ginger sweatdropped. She was going to eat Urameshi if he didn't drop that facade. Still, it was good to know he knew what Pokemon were.
Zero raised an eyebrow. They were playing with him. Fair enough, though, "Addicted hmm? That's not a good thing. I hear if a Pokemon becomes addicted they die."
Potions weren't addictive. And Zero was totally making this up as he went along. But he'd felt that they were somehow pulling his leg. And he was not going to come up the idiot here. So he'd play along. Yusuke's reaction to Zero's comment would help him to gauge what was really going on.
He did have to admit, Yokai was an interesting nickname. Having spent time in a modern world, he knew what it meant. Most people named their Ninetales thinks like Kyuubi or Kitsune. He'd seen enough Ninetales who were named Naruto to fill a football stadium.

"Playing along, eh? Well then, two... er... THREE can play it this game." Yusuke thought to himself.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, Yokai. I guess this is the end... but I think it'd be best for her to die happy, don't you?" Yusuke turned back to Zero, a mildly depressed look adorning his face.
"Please help Yokai pass to the afterlife happily by donating a potion."

Zero sweatdropped himself. If awards were given for bad acting, this boy would take grand prize. But it presented an opening, "I might be able to help her. Mind if I take a crack at it? I can make the pain go away."
Zero couldn't keep a totally straight face at that, and one of the corners of his lips twitched upwards in a smile. The last line was more than honest. He could indeed make the "pain" go away. The Ninetales too. In her condition, deleting her would be possible, especially if he could get the boy to allow it.
Ginger hopped back. That look wasn't good.... Something about the tone of voice Zero had just developed...

"Well, you could, yeah. But I don't think I'm willing to let you kill little Yokai just to get rid of her aches." Yusuke noted.
"In fact, I don't think I'm willing to listen to you any more. Something about you just pisses me off. So if you don't mind, we'll be going. And if you do mind, well..." Yusuke trailed off, pulling up his gun-hand.
"We could always do this the hard way..."
