(OOC: It also means heartlessness; inhumanity, depending on what kanji is used. XD But I can't use player character information. X3)
Schala smiled. She had no idea what "Japanese" was, but the gesture more than made up for any cluelessness she had. For all she knew, she was Japanese. She wondered if the way she felt was the way the boy felt. She knew she felt the need to protect him, even though she was probably just as poorly off as he was.
"Fujin is more than acceptable," she tried to look sweeter and accomplished it rather well. The feeling of needing to protect the boy made her somehow happy. As if some part of her lost memory had been placated. She just wish she knew why...

[OOC: Well I didn't know that. My knowledge in Japanese is very loose. (And by loose I mean I use a 'English to Japanese translator' to help come up with the the Japanese words) So as thus, Kosumu's knowledge of Japanese is pretty much revolved around what kind of Japanese I look up. Putting that aside though.]
Kosumu smiled, knowing the name was appreciated, despite how fast he had brought it up. "Thank you."

(OOC: Don't feel too bad. Like you said, it fits the character. Besides, it could create some interesting situations later. XD
I'll be calling her Fujin from now on, just a heads up.)
"Fujin" looked around. If the boy had brought her here, perhaps he knew the place. She carefully got to her feet, taking effort to brush her long hair out of her face. She wanted to put it up somehow. She wondered if she had worn it that way before losing her memory. It was more easy to see her regal bearing now. She even had large earrings that looked to be of some precious metal. She held her hand to her chest, almost as if she expected something to be there. It was fully subconcious, however. She was not even aware she had reached there.
"Is this place your home? Do your parents live here," Fujin paused, "You do have parents, correct? I apologize if you are of a race that is born from magic."
Somehow she knew there were beings born from magic. She suspected it had to do with the memories she could not access. She pulled up her robe a bit without being aware of it. She would need new clothes soon, these ones were in tatters. She wondered if the events that had made her lose her memories had caused it.

"No live here." Kosumu said simply. "Came in... Escape cold." He shivered for emphasis. "Have mother... and six siblings." He pointed upwards. "They up there... came from there... I did."

Fujin looked up. Did he mean the ceiling? No, that was ridiculous. She faintly remembered being carried through the air. Did Kosumu mean the sky? A flying world, maybe? She felt a twinge in her heart as she though of that. It got worse when Kosumu mentioned a mother. She felt part of her mind pushing away memories that she so desperately wanted... her surface mind used the shivering of Kosumu as something else to focus on.
She looked down at her hands as if they were foreign objects. Somehow... somehow she thought she could do something about the cold. She looked around. She didn't even know what she was looking for when her eyes settled on a small stone pit. There were sticks in it. She and Kosumu weren't the first to use this place as shelter. She carefully walked to it and held out her hands. Some part of her memory was telling her what to do...
"FIRE!" she heard herself shouting. The stream of fire that shot from her outstretched hands surprised her. As the stream left her hands she fell backwards, staring wide-eyed as the firepit lit up, a crackling fire and her own surprise the only indication of what she had just done.
It was quite possible Kosumu sensed the surge of magic. Anyone with magical sense would have felt it. Those with a lot of it would have felt something else as well. An untapped potential, as if some invisible force had prevented a much stronger spell from being cast. Most interesting, however, was that Fujin seemed unaware of the blocking force...

... ... ... ... ... ...
"Cool!!!!" Kosumu ran over to the fire and held his hands in front of it, feeling quite warm now. "Fujin! How... you do that?!"
Kosumu had felt the magical energy, but honestly thought nothing of it. It was just great that they now had a source of light and warmth aside from the mini-star he had set down earlier. He motioned to the fire, looking very giddy. "Glad you did!" After getting a bit warmed up, he walked over to the mini-star and picked it up. "Mother missing this... I bet."
That was the last thing he said before, concentrating his magic, he teleported the star away. If anybody had been outside, they'd see a star they had either failed to notice or that had just appeared, twinkling in the sky as if it had always been there.

Fujin had no answer for the boy. Actually, she was wondering the exact same thing. How had she done that. Still sitting, she looked at her hands and shook her head, "I-I have no idea. You spoke of your home and your mother. I had a desire to help you stay warm. It seemed to happen all on its own."
The young woman was still trying to figure out what had happened when Kosumu picked up the star and sent it towards the sky. She watched as it flew out of the cave. She climbed to her feet and sat next to the fire, taking care that her long sleeves did not get caught in the flame.
"Your mother gave you that object? It looks like a star..." Fujin had subconsciously chosen to put the thought of her magic spell out of her mind. Kosumu intrigued her, "What is your mother like?"
The question felt a little painful, but it didn't show on the young woman's face. She gave her full attention to any response the male child might have.

Kosumu smiled as he sat back in front of the fire. "Mother..." He considered his words... Somehow he doubted that he could explain his mother and still keep to his original habit of speaking in a broken way... ...
He snapped his fingers.
He could show her what she was like.
After a second, Kosumu stood up on his feet. "Show you!" He responded happily as he pointed an index finger upwards...
Whether Fujin's eyes could believe it or not, several thousand (If not MILLIONS) of tiny little lights escaped from Kosumu's finger, as they expanded around the cieling of the cave, which was up so high the light of the fire couldn't reach it. The lights stopped in the blackness almost looking like the night sky. 8 more lights appeared from his finger tips, and alligned themselves directly in the center of the star like light show.
Magic or not, it appeared to not even exhaust Kosumu, must've been relatively small magic. "Mother... Is that one."
He pointed at the faux star that was right smack dab in the center of the display... The faux star that shown the most prominently among the stars...
Otherwise known as a copy of Polaris, the north star.
"Mother, guiding light." Kosumu intoned, smiling fondly. "Loving, understanding... Name Polaris. Some call her North Star." If Fujin gave Kosumu a strange look, the boy didn't notice. "That's my home! Next to Momma's feet."
Right at the bottom rim of Polaris, there were indeed seven, almost tiny little stars that sat in a circle around it. What's more, while they were all white out in the normal sky, they seemed to be colored in Kosumu's demonstration. He had pointed to the star that was colored a light silver. The other colors were as follows; red, blue, yellow, green, brown, and a light magenta. "I made siblings clear." He smiled as he said. "Have 3 brothers. 3 sisters. I'm youngest. Mother watch after us. Loves us to bottom of heart."

Fujin didn't seem too surprised by the display. In awe, yes, but not surprise. She actually found it rather pretty. Like looking through an observatory. She was a little surprised that Kosumu was from the stars. She had been interperting it as a flying kingdom. For some reason her mind insisted that was far more logical. She wasn't sure why, it just did.
She tried to remember her own parents. She was sure she had at least one. But the only thing that formed in her mind was a pain deep in her chest. Whoever her mother was, the sealed memory must be painful. She pushed it away, feeling as if she was losing something as she did so. She focused instead on the implications of Kosumu's story.
"Does that not mean you are far from home? That's sad, a boy your age," Fujin said, having no idea as to Kosumu's true age, "Are Wally and Otto two of your brothers?"
Again with the pain in her chest. This time over the thought of a brother. She wondered why, and the thoughts seemed to cause her to become lost in thought.

Kosumu smiled, deciding not to go into detail about his age. "I responsible..." He started jumping up and down a little in a show of giddiness. "As for Wally and Otto. They are brothers... In way." He sat himself back down. "Not first time... To be away... From home." He shrugged, "Meet Wally, and Otto... at another world I visit. They mortal, not star."
Seeing his point made, he pointed an index finger up...
Almost immediately, every last faux star on the dark cieling shot down from where they hang and retreated back into Kosumu's finger. All that happened was he appeared to get a slight tingly feeling before calming down. "They disappear though... Came looking for them." He then finished by pointing to the floor, meaning the ground. "They on this world. Know they are."

The full meaning of Kosumu's words sank in. This wasn't his world? Wait, if he was from the stars he likely meant planet. Intense fear flicked across Fujin's eyes for half a second as she thought of visitors from another planet. She drew in a sharp breath but her mind diverted so hard that she wasn't even aware it had happened. All she was consciously aware of was that she'd drawn in a sudden breath. She rubbed her arms. Goosebumps had appeared on them. Why?
"I wonder if I'm also from another world..." she murmured to herself as she looked at the flames. She wasn't talking to anyone in particular, not even herself. She suddenly felt very tired...

"Maybe..."
Kosumu had sat in front of the fire as well, holding his hands in front of it. "Hear that this world... Dimensional Island. Is like nexus." Kosumu likely had Fujin's attention there. "Nexus is place... where all things connect... Many worlds linked to here... And island linked to many worlds." A pretty smart statement, one that probably made a lot of sense. "Possible you do come from... Another world."

Fujin had heard Kosumu talk, but she was rather inside her own head at the moment. Far too much to talk. The thoughts were racing by so quickly, she couldn't catch one to focus on. It was mildly irritating. Every time she felt she got close to something, her mind would divert. The pain would be too much or the thoughts would skitter away.
Brother, mother, other worlds... it all seemed like it was supposed to fit. Like that annoying way you knew a puzzle piece fit in place but couldn't get it in. It often meant it didn't belong there, but occasionally it would just be from clumsy fingers. She couldn't get her mind to confirm or deny either possibility...
She fell asleep in the scant few minutes the thoughts raced by. She was still sitting upright, but her head had drooped onto her knees. The main indication she was asleep was the way her breathing had settled into a more steady rythym. Otherwise, it would look like she was just resting her head.

"Fujin..? Fujin..?"
It took Kosumu a few seconds to realize that the girl was asleep. He looked at her concerned a few moments, "Sleep time." He noted to himself.
With that being said, he helped Fujin get into a better sleeping position, laying her down on the floor. Keeping her warm would be no problem, the fire would do it's job. "Night night Fujin..."
Kosumu was about to go find a place to lay down himself, before a nagging thought came to mind... It felt like he had forgotten something... .. .... ...
The Meteor!! His Home!!!
He couldn't believe he had forgotten it for so long! He still needed a place to hide that thing until it would be needed!
Getting back to his feet, he turned to Fujin. "Be back. Promise."
And with that, his eyes glowed again as he flew out of the cave, the STILL floating fallen star just right behind him.

A void... nothing more. Just a void. Wandering. That was more. She was wandering. Someone was on the other side, she was sure of it. Not just one person. A whole group. Only one seemed really important. Did she know the person? Was it even a person? Pain. Painful... memories? Could they be called memories if all she could think of was the pain? She reached for her chest and found herself clasping something. A pendant? It shown with blue light. A red rock surrounded by white gold. It was similar to a ruby, but seemed to hold more potential. And it glowed such a beautiful shade of pale blue. Was it important? It seemed so... if only the memories, the forgotten memories... the pendant vanished in sparkles. Somehow she knew... knew what...? -----
Fujin had herself rolled into a fetal position. Her eyes were squeezed shut. It didn't seem to be a "nightmare" per se. But whatever was going on her head was more painful than a dream. It had to be.
"...us..." only part of a word escaped her lips. Even her dream consciousness was unaware of the word that was trying to form. But a single tear rolled down her closed eyes. Nightmare or no, the invisible thoughts of her mind seemed painful.
