... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
"...-jin... ... ji... F... Fu... Fu..in..."
"Fujin!!"
As the morning sun rose, Kosumu had managed to make it back after successfully hiding the meteor in a place NO-ONE would find it. Finding the cave was a bit more difficult then first thought, but he managed.
At present, he had walked into the cave, only to find Fujin tossing and turning in a fetal position, sweating, mumbling, looking like a peaceful nights sleep was the LAST thing she got.
"Fujin!!!" Kosumu said, shaking the girl's shoulder. "Fujin wake up! Wake up!"

Fujin started awake, jerking into an upright position and looking around rapidly. She was breathing heavily, but her eyes quickly settled on Kosumu. A worrisome moment of no recognition before she fully awoke, "Kosumu!"
She tried to wipe the sleep from her eyes and looked towards the cave mouth. Light. It was morning? Or later? She looked back towards Kosumu. He seemed distraught.
"Are you all right? You look concerned..." she said. It implied that she had no idea what she had been dreaming moments earlier. Her breathing had already become normal again.

Kosumu looked at the girl in disbelief. It looked like she was having a nightmare. Kosumu knew what nightmares were since he had recieved a couple of them quite a long time ago... (And by a long time I mean 500,000 years)
"Fujin..." He wondered if it would be right of him to bring up the nightmare... She SEEMED okay now, and he really didn't want to worry her any...
After a few more minutes of thought, he let the argument drop. "Alright Fujin." He smiled a little. "Just got back... had to hide home." He motioned to himself when he said that, making her know he meant HIS home. "Woke you... Because it's... ... ..."
Now that was a tried and true pause.
Kosumu never was a good liar.
"It's... ... ... Morning! Morning Fujin!" He said cheerfully.
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...
It probably would've been more believable if he hadn't paused for so long.

Fujin's mind was too foggy to really make much sense of most of what Kosumu said. Certainly too much to realize he was lying through his teeth. Probably wouldn't have mattered had she known. She was a rather passive person. Not passive aggressive. Just passive. She nodded and got to her feet. A few of the tears on her robe had gotten worse in the night. She paused and looked at them, wondering when that had occured.
She paused, "Hide your home?" It would appear his words had finally registered, "Forgive my ignorance, but I thought you lived in the sky..."

Kosumu secretly chuckled, glad she had taken this story. At the question though, he held up his index finger. "I mean... My star shell..."
From his index finger a tiny light appeared, that almost looked like a star. "My brothers nor sisters... can't live in space... for too long." He shrugged. "We live in rock's... called star shells.. While in space." He absorbed the tiny light again. "Star shell crash landed... Like meteor... So, hid it." He motioned to himself so she could understand that last sentence as 'So I hid it'.

Fujin nodded. She wasn't really sure she understood, but she had the feeling more explanations wouldn't be any help. Star shell. Sure sounded pretty though.
She walked towards the cave mouth and looked outside. The area was really pretty, although the snow glare cast by the sun was a bit blinding. She had her hand to her face as she turned to Kosumu, "I am afraid I have no idea what I should do now. I would like to know more about myself. There is a problem in that I have no idea where I should begin."
I have this feeling... someone in this world might know me. I do not know why. However, I have no other clues. Perhaps Kosumu will know...

Kosumu shrugged. "Wish I could help..."
He looked down at the icy lake, "But... I'll help anyway can."

Oh, I guess he doesn't...
"If you would allow me, I am willing to go with you to search for Wally and Otto. You said they were in this world, correct? Perhaps your search will help me with mine," Fujin said as she turned back towards Kosumu, "Is it possible you do not know where to begin, either?"
Fujin wasn't sure how to handle the situation of Kosumu was as clueless about things as she was.

Kosumu honestly wished he knew WHERE to start; this world was wide, open, expansive, and foreign in many ways, despite being an island floating above the abyss. He thought a moment, how COULD they find them... ... ...
"You can call us the Light Bender and the Dark Bender, mate!" That memory of Wally said, playing through his head. He remembered fondly when Wally shortly afterwards, gave him the name 'Kosumu'...
Wait... ... ... Name... ... ... ...
'PING!!!!'
"Got it!!" Kosumu lifted into the air, in front of Fujin.
Names were often trivial things at best. They could be used to describe you're personality, describe your abilities, describe you as a person in many respects. With this in mind, could it be possible, after being gone so long, that their names could be widely known in this realm? Kosumu certainly believed they were brave, strong, and smart enough to gain a reputation on this island.
"Go to nearest town... Ask around!" He seemed pleased at this idea. "Wally, Otto, heroes! They known everywhere! Someone knows... where they are!"
It was little more of a hope then an idea, but Kosumu couldn't tell the difference as this idea made the most sense.

Fujin smiled. He was cute, that was for sure. But as for the towns...
"Do you know where any towns are?"
She felt bad not being able to take charge of the situation. But it would do neither of them any good if they got lost in the frozen tundra...
(OOC: Short post is short. >_> Sorry bout that.)

Kosumu only continued to smile, "Pass town... While hiding Star Shell." He pointed to the east of the Crystal lake. "It's far... But can easily cover... by flying."
He looked at her curiously, leaning his top half forward, and tilting his head. "You fly?"

Fujin shook her head, "If I did before, I have no memory of it. I was unaware I could do that thing with the fire. I do suppose it is possible, but I have no memory of how," she paused, "So the answer to your inquiry would be no. Are you capable of carrying me?"
The question was fair enough. She faintly remembered being carried before, but she wasn't totally sure it had been by Kosumu or that he could do it for long distances. It didn't even occur to her that it would be rather unusual to most, what with her lack of memories.

A grin came on his face...
The answer to that question? Truthfully he COULD carry Fujin... Though he wouldn't be able to carry her for too long a time. Flying with a passenger tended to take out Kosumu's magic pretty quickly...
Still it was a chance he was willing to take. He wasn't about to LEAVE Fujin out here in the cold tundra after all.
"Sure!" He bowed before offering the girl his hand. "Carry Fujin?"
That comment could be blamed partially on Wally. Kosumu just felt the need to act debunair as a type of joke. The Light Bender's humor wasn't flirty, it just seemed to contain even the slightest hints of it. The way Kosumu said it sounded like the joke but doing it right. Kosumu chuckled a little to let her know the whole acting fancy thing was just part of a joke...
Okay... WHY did he feel like he had TOTALLY ripped off the schtick of another character though?

Fujin showed no indication that she had caught any hesitation on Kosumu's part. She nodded and grabbed her robes so that it would be more comfortable. She put her hand out. In another situation it might have seemed like a lady accepting the kiss of a nobleman. Ironically, she had no idea how awkward this would have been for any adult-minded entity.
"I would be delighted. Thank you very much," she told Kosumu.

Kosumu secretly sent up a prayer to his mother Polaris, asking for just a bit more strength on his part, so carrying Fujin wouldn't be so hard. He wasn't sure if it worked or not, but he was about to find out anyways. Turning his back to Fujin he backed himself up enough that she could easily climb on. A piggy back carry did seem the best way to go.
"Climb on! Take you to town!" He quickly got himself ready for a shift in weight.
Not to mention sincerely hoped his mother had heard his earlier prayer. If she hadn't, he had NO idea how far he could take Fujin without running out of energy. He wasn't about to let her know that though.
