Yuugi stared, unblinking. His other self... he could summon Persona like Minato. He was currently having a flood of emotions, and he still felt a bit dazed about the entire Dark Hour. He looked up towards Temu, who turned his head. Yuugi paled a bit. The Persona was aware of him.
Atem let the gun arm drop. He was breathing a bit heavily. Temu's attack had caused some kind of mental drain. He felt some realization trying to dawn but the cloud of the Dark Hour still hung over his mind, despite being muchly dissipated thanks to Temu's awakening. He lifted his head to look at Minato, who seemed to be staring.
He forced his feet foward and held out the gun to Minato. As he lifted his arm he seemed to stumble a bit. While he had the Potential and had summoned a Persona, he was still quite new to this. And it was somewhat apparent he had the usual disorientation factor the Dark Hour was known to cause, "We.. We have to get to K1."
The pharaoh was still trying to take charge of the situation, but it was apparent he was tired. Minato would know the sensation from early trips to Tartarus. It was so much easier to get exhausted, and as Atem was now it would be easier to knock him down and make him prone.
And besides all that, he was in a small amount of shock. Sane people didn't shoot themselves in the head to save their life. They didn't shoot themselves in the head, period. So that mental strain was wearing down on him as well.

After a bit, Souji came across Atem and Minato. He looked between the two.
"Are you two alright?" he asked. "I've been going around the complex for the past few minutes trying to find anyone who's not a coffin so the Shadows don't get them."
He looked back at the hallway. "I saw someone else back there too. He said he was heading to find a friend of his."
------------------
K1 made it outside, and found Jack Frost, who was staring at the coffins surrounding him.
"Jack, thank goodness!" K1 said. "Where's Midori?"
"She turned into a coffin, hee!" Jack Frost said, staring at the crystaline coffin. K1 breathed a sigh of relief.
"Good, then she should be safe. Come on, we need to--" K1 looked around him. There was even more shadows. "Just what we need. Get ready to fight, Jack."

"Hang in there Atem," Minato called. My own apartment... no longer safe... What do I do? "Don't worry. We will get to K1." He helped Atem move, knowing what Atem was feeling due to the fact he felt it on his first trips to Tartarus. Until you get used to it, the Dark Hour would make you feel weaker easier.

Yuugi's face flooded with concern as Atem stumbled. Atem pushed Minato's hand away, "I'll be fine," he looked up to the newcomer, "I think it's our friend. Can you take us there?"
Temu regarded Izanagi for a moment before returning to his slightly aggresive stance above Atem. Although nothing had been directly spoken, Atem was regarding Temu similar to how he'd seen his Priests regard their summoned ka. The situation was more than a little similar. However, it also presented issues. If Temu got himself killed... Atem would die as well.
That actually wasn't quite the case as those who knew Minato's homeworld would know, but Atem was trying to explain things to himself in a way he could understand. Besides all the logical, Atem was a bit annoyed at how worn he felt. It was true he and his partner had gotten up early, but he shouldn't be this tired. Even using his life force to maintain Temu should not have caused this issue.
Yuugi looked at his arm, which despite him being in spirit form would carry the same injury as Atem's when he surfaced, as their body was the same. The blood flow had stopped, but it was still extremely sore. Whether his other self wanted to admit it or not, he knew the pharaoh was in pain.

Souji nodded. "Of course. I think I saw him heading for the entrance to the building." The way he was speaking was incredibly formal, especially for someone whose persona was a freaking delinquent.Suddenly, Izanagi disappeared in a flash of light and reappeared as a blue tarot card in Souji's hand. Souji pocketed the card, and started walking towards the end of the hallway, still keeping an eye out for any shadows. If anything, they'd be swarming towards K1 at the moment. That boy with the blue hair has an obscene amount of weapons, Souji thought to himself. He's wearing a Gekkoukan High School uniform too... could he be...?((OOC: During one part of P4, you get to take a field trip to Tatsumi Port Island. And it is amazing. ))

"Don't be down on yourself Atem. The Dark Hour causes extreme exhausation to those not used to it. After some times within it, you'll adapt," Minato explained. Then he looked at Souji and nodded, following him.
He can also summon Persona. He's not from Gekkoukan, but the fact that he summons Persona from the tarot cards gives me proof to believe he's from my world as the cards represent the Arcana from which the Persona are summoned... to not have to put a gun to his head to summon his Persona... Lucky bastard.

Atem would have sighed had he felt like spending the energy. Minato was trying, he had to give him that. It was like his friends back in his world, they'd hammer their point home. These thoughts quickly flicked through his mind and he nodded. He glanced at the card Souji pocketed and the only reason he didn't make a Duel Monsters comparison were what had happened to his cards.
Yuugi couldn't help but think of Kaiba, suddenly realizing that the other teenager slightly resembled the owner of the same named corporation. Atem walked forward, but he kept Temu out. It was draining, but he didn't have the method on him to resummon him if the need occured. He hoped they'd reach K1 soon, and he shared Yuugi's hope that the teen was alright. The silver haired boy had said he had seen him, but the night had shown things could quickly change.

Things were not going well, to say the least. K1 was being swarmed by every shadow in the complex. They knew he couldn't summon a persona and that his best weapon was a magical cell phone strap. Even with Jack Frost's help, he was still getting hurt badly. Not only that, but some of them were absorbing the Bufu attacks.
Some leader I am... getting myself killed out here, K1 thought to himself.
------------------
Souji stopped. He could hear sounds of battle from outside the building. He unsheathed his sword before running outside. The first thing he did was slash through the nearest Shadow. There weren't that many, but it was quite a few Shadows, plus K1 didn't look like he was doing that well.
"Are you alright?" Souji asked as he slashed through a Shadow.
"DO I LOOK LIKE I'M ALRIGHT?!" K1 yelled. "Jack Frost, attack!"
The demon ran over to another Shadow and started attacking it.

"I've got your back K1!" Minato said. He didn't take back the evoker, figuring Atem might need it to keep Temu out, but he used his spear/sword/knuckles trio to bash, slash, and pierce the enemies back. "The Dark Hour should end soon! After it ends, the shadows will dissapear and everything will return to normal!"

Atem looked up as Souji ran forward, and saw that K1 was cut in several places and seemed to be fading fast. He didn't have a weapon on him... "Temu, you know what you can do better than me! Protect K1!" Atem commanded, indicating who K1 was with his hurt arm, wincing at the pain the gesture caused as he ran to the side.
Temu advanced forward and released a Zio on the shadow closest to K1 causing it to disintegrate. Atem was next to Minato by this point, or as close as he could be with the fighting Minato was doing. He shoved the Evoker into his belt, which generally wasn't meant for things like that and made it look odd. It didn't seem all that secure.
"Minato, give me one of those one handed swords!" He shouted, dropping the honorifics in favor of quicker speech. It would not have been unlikely for the request to surprise the three teens he was fighting with. It surprised Yuugi until he remembered that Atem had used a sword in the Memory World. Of course, with his memories his old skills would have been returned to him.
He was far more concerned with the exhaustion level his other self was reaching. He was trying hard to conceal it from both him and their allies, but he was operating on fumes. And Yuugi knew Atem wouldn't stop until he was dead. He would have requested dominance, but two big things stopped him. He was still disorientated, and he wasn't sure of Temu could remain active.

K1 looked over at Atem, and nodded. "Jack Frost, Dia!" he ordered. Jack Frost this time didn't get close to heal K1, instead sending an orb of white light over to him. The energy touched K1, and some of his cuts began healing up.
Dammit, without my COMP, I can't use any spells either! K1 realized. This Dark Hour was more trouble than it was worth.
Souji held out the tarot card from before and crushed it in his hand, causing it to shatter and form Izanagi again.
"Cleave, Izanagi!" Souji ordered. Izanagi slashed through another Shadow with his blade.
By now, there were only a few shadows left.

Minato nodded and gave Atem one of his swords before turning to face the shadows. "Just one more minute... one more minute and the Dark Hour will end... then the Shadows can bother us no more... Let's hold for just one more minute!" With that, Minato jumped back into the fray, a drive to protect instilled in him greatly.

With a weapon in hand and his stance showing he obviously knew how to use it, he ran towards K1. He was in all battle mode despite his exhaustion and didn't waste time speaking or with words. Temu used Zio again and Atem had to work at staying on his feet. He couldn't maintain this any longer and as he blocked an attack he allowed Temu to vanish, but got hit by a side attack, collapsing because of it.
On the way down Yuugi took dominance, but it mean Atem's attempt to recover from the fall ended badly. Combine the free hand being the injured one, Yuugi was on his back when he hit. And the sword was heavier than he expected...
There was less than twenty seconds left, at the most, but Yuugi wasn't in a good position. He had taken dominance because Temu had been dismissed, but he was used to fighting with cards. Not like this...
"Get up..." Atem told his partner, lacking even the energy to shout.

Souji had been in the middle of a fight with a particularly strong shadow at that moment, when he saw Yuugi fall. "Damn it!" Souji yelled, and hit a shadow that was approaching Yuugi with a Zio attack to knock it back for now.
Less than ten seconds left now...
K1 and Jack Frost were backed against a wall. "A little help here!" K1 yelled. Jack Frost was trying to keep the shadows away with ice spells.
"Working on it!" Souji yelled, and then, suddenly, the shadows faded away. The sky changed back to black, the moon back to yellow, and the pools of blood disappeared. Most importantly, the people in coffins returned to normal, and continued about their normal business.
"Is... it over?" K1 asked.

"Just in time," Minato said, feeling like passing out. He kept himself up, however, his sense of duty remaining strong over his will. "I thought for sure it was going to be the end."
