The three teens had reached the Apartment Complex. They'd been taking a bit slowly. As such it was now 12:22 AM. Yuugi yawned, choosing to put his full faith into Souji about what Midori had seen on the Midnight Channel. He knew about this stuff, it would be like his other self speaking about the Millenium Items.
Atem, on the other hand, was rather worried about the situation. It didn't add up in his head. But it was back to Yuugi being the strong one. He could put his full faith in his friends, something Atem had trouble with. He could hold himself back from harming someone, too. He smiled when Yuugi turned to the side, thankful that Yuugi's trusting nature allowed him to accept the reassurance.
The teenager stepped inside the door of the complex and closed the umbrella before stepping to the side so the others could get past, "I guess we might see you tomorrow, then? I've got a bit of shopping to do still, and I really need to get to my laundry..."

Souji nodded. "I have some more investigating to do, but right now, I'm going to go sleep. Good night, Yuugi-kun, Keiichi-kun."
K1 nodded. "Yeah, see ya, Souji." He turned to Yuugi. "Hey... I know this is a weird time to ask, but if you see Midori... can you not say I'm staying with Naoya right now? I don't need her freaking out like she did back home."
--------------
Up in Adachi's apartment, he'd heard Souji return to his apartment. So the group was home.
All he had to wait for now was the spiky-haired boy and his puzzle to go to bed. Then, he could finally get rid of that puzzle.
He wasn't going to risk things. It looked like he hadn't really learned his lesson after all.

Yuugi nodded with a slight grin, "All right. See you later, Seta-kun."
He was shaking some excess water off himself when K1 asked his question. He looked concerned for a moment and it was possible the other teen was worried about his response when he nodded, "Okay. I mean, I doubt I'll run into her," Yuugi shook his head, "But I'll keep it to myself. Don't worry."
At least he sounded more confident as he ended. He yawned and stretched backwards a bit with his arms above his head. He popped a bit, seeming surprised by the noise and chuckling a bit. Actually, unless K1 had other plans they could walk to the aparments together. Naoya and Yuugi were neighbors, after all.

"Thanks," K1 said. He seemed more than a bit relieved at this.
After Yuugi answered his question he started walking toward the stairs. He was walking slow enough that Yuugi could follow after easily.

The effort wasn't actually needed, but Yuugi didn't say it. He'd appreciated the gesture. He thought he was more tired than K1 tonight, which was somehow a small comfort. Nefertum had used a new skill, an actual attack. He wondered if it was related to that.
There wasn't really much to talk about, and they were both pretty tired. Or at least Yuugi was. He had to assume about K1, but the teen seemed half asleep on his feet. He stopped in front of his own door, "I'm probably going to sleep late tomorrow..."
For Adachi's plans, it was probably irritating how much time the teens were taking with things like small talk. But Yuugi looked pretty tired... it wouldn't take him long to get to sleep.

As it was, K1 was swaying, and looked like he really would fall asleep on his feet for once. "Yeah, I think I will too." Once the two of them reached their respective rooms, K1 turned to Yuugi. "I'll see you tomorrow, then."
After saying this, he headed on into Naoya's apartment. "I'm goin' to bed..." he mumbled, not knowing or caring where Naoya was. All he wanted to do was sleep.

As it was, Naoya wasn't in his apartment. He was around the island, doing his own thing. Yuugi carefully took off his Puzzle, telling his other self good night before setting it on his bedstand. Atem had enough time to tell his partner good night before the contact with the Puzzle was lost. Yuugi didn't even bother getting undressed. Something told him he'd sleep good tonight.
Atem, not so much. He didn't know as much about the Midnight Channel as he would have liked, but things were nagging at him. He could fully worry now that he wasn't directly connected to his partner. He could yell him awake if he needed, but that wouldn't occur.
....Right? Yuugi was already asleep, on top of his covers. The appearance fit what had happened. He'd literally "fallen" asleep.

Now that Yuugi was finally asleep, Adachi could make his move. While the group had been gone, he had been practicing summoning his Persona. Before, it had only happened because he was panicked and trying to protect himself. Now he could do it when he wanted to. With some effort though.
Sometimes he wished he had one of those stupid tarot cards. As it was, he didn't. So he had to go the more painful way. Those investigation team kids had it easy.
As he started summoning Magatsu Izanagi, he grabbed his head in his hands. There came that horrid headache. Just as suddenly as it had come, the headache passed, and Magatsu Izanagi had summoned. Not in front of Adachi, like it usually did, though, but down in Yuugi's apartment. The fact that their apartments were right above one another helped quite a bit with this.
Inside Yuugi's apartment, the demented version of Izanagi wandered through the small apartment, not caring if it knocked over anything, and only moving towards the Puzzle. It found it quickly enough, and picked it up.

Yuugi was rather heavily asleep and his apartment was very lightly furnished. As such, the most that Magatsu Izanagi caused as he made his way throught he apartment was a simple knocked over table. There wasn't even anything on it, and the light carpet meant the noise was extremely muted.
However, Atem's reaction did wake Yuugi up. The way an exploding television might the rest of the world. Atem had actually fallen asleep with his worries, but when the Persona grabbed the Puzzle, he was wide awake and quite aware. It looked like Souji's Persona, but the similarities ended there. The darkness coming off it...
"YUUGI!" he shouted, the conversation about the Midnight Channel falling into a panicked place. He didn't even bother with "aibou" - Shouting his partner's given name was more effective for getting his attention.
Yuugi jerked awake in time to see Magatsu Izanagi. He reached for the tarot card in his pocket, but the Persona would have no problem getting out of the apartment... although with the Puzzle in its hand it would have to bust down the door, unless it could access the TV World on its own. While it wasn't connected to even basic cable, it still had the potential...
And in all honesty, the twisted Izanagi could probably wallop Yuugi without even trying.

The twisted version of Izanagi turned to face Yuugi, before turning back to to the door, and cleaving a very neat slash through it. The door fell off of its hinges, and the Persona ran out into the hallway, moving very, very fast. Adachi intended to get Magatsu Izanagi out of Yuugi's sights as soon as possible.
The Persona made it down to Adachi's room fast enough, before Adachi dissipated it. He quickly opened the door and grabbed the puzzle before slamming the door back. Yuugi would likely be hot on Magatsu Izanagi's tail, and Adachi really didn't need a kid with a very close, almost creepy, attachment to a puzzle to be banging on his door all night. Especially when said kid was friends with Seta.
Adachi walked over to his television and dropped the puzzle through the screen into the TV World. Good riddance.

Nefertum was right above Yuugi as he ran out of the room, but the hesitation over the slashed door allowed Magatsu Izanagi enough distance that Yuugi had lost track of him by the time he reached the lower floor. He'd heard a door slam, but he had no idea what one it was. He was shaking his head and crying.
The odds were low, but he had to try, "ATEM!" he shouted, likely waking up the entire floor.
When there was no response he ran towards Souji's door and began pounding on it. That Persona... it had looked so similar to the one Souji seemed to favor. Maybe Souji knew something about it... it was his only option right now...
"SETA-KUN!!!" he shouted through his sobs. His complete panic forced Nefertum back into card form, but it materialized back in the pocket he had pulled it from. His psyche was in too much of a disorientated panic to maintain his Persona... the pounding showed no signs of letting up, but it wasn't likely Yuugi could manage a coherent explanation with the way he was crying. -----
At first, there was nothing really impressive. The Puzzle thunked to the floor of a hall that looked suspiciously like Yuugi's own TV World. The fog made it look like the set of some cut rate horror flick. Especially in combination with the musty feeling of a tomb and the hieroglyphs on the walls.
But then the Puzzle flashed in response to some reaching darkness. It actually repelled the darkness, and as the light faded Atem was left laying there. He felt extremely disorientated. He was in the outfit Yuugi had been wearing, but that was the end of the similarities. He pushed himself into a sitting position and grabbed his head... He seemed startled as he looked down at his hand.
It was tanned. Which meant he was in his true form. Before he'd thought it had been an effect of his partner's shadow. But that didn't explain this. He pushed himself to his feet, worry straining his face. He felt his knees try to buckle. The air of this world... he closed his eyes and turned away. Now he had to rely on his partner...

Adachi smirked at his television. "Not so tough now, are you, 'Pharaoh.' Tch." The detective sat down on the ragged couch that had come with the apartment, and switched on the television. Not that there was much on when it came to late night television.
-----------------
Souji opened his door to a crying Yuugi. He was in the same pajamas from the night before, but at least he wasn't carrying a claymore around with him for once. He looked down at Yuugi.
"...What's going on, Yuugi-kun?" Souji asked. His eyes moved down to where the puzzle would be normally. It was rather striking, considering he'd never seen Yuugi without it.

"A-A-Atem was," Yuugi coughed, trying to get a clear look at Souji. It was rather difficult what with the tears. He shook his head and clenched his fists, "SomePersonathatlookedlikeyoursgrabbedthePuzzleandranoff!"
It was probably rather hard to understand what Yuugi had just forced out, but he'd had to say it that quickly. Exactly why became clear as he began blubbering again. He looked extremely pained, like he'd seen his best friend get mowed over by a truck. He certainly didn't seem to be acting his age.
He was rather clearly panicked, however.

Souji blinked a couple times. Normally, he might had been able to understand what Yuugi had been saying. As it was, he was tired and half-asleep.
"...Could you repeat that more slowly, Yuugi-kun?" Souji asked. As it was, he was having a hard time resisting giving Yuugi one big hug. Something had happened to Atem, but Yuugi was too flustered to give him a good answer. But if Souji wanted to do something, he needed the full info.
He had a bad feeling about this, though. Just like that phone call all those months ago...

Yuugi squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head. He was obviously trying to get under enough control to say something, "The Puzzle... Something that looked like that Persona you summon, just... wrong... it took it and flew off with it! You know something, right? You have to!"
The effort it had taken to get the words out seemed to have gotten him past the brunt of the panic. Now it was all in his eyes and his stance. He shook his head again, trying to get the tears to stop running the edge of his vest. He had the ragged breaths of a panicked person trying to bring hysteria under control. Yuugi didn't know how he was going to handle it if Souji didn't know. He couldn't clearly make out the teen's expression, though. His eyes were still too blurry. They were rather puffy from the few minutes of hysteria, however.
