Naoya let go, "I didn't say you did it on purpose. I said get it under control, which obviously means you had little to no control over it when it occurred."
He crossed his arms. As usual he was hard to read. It was a drop from the amused look he had worn during most of that seventh day of the lockdown. It wasn't the anger he had shown the angels when they attacked them and revealed the whole Cain and Abel thing. Keiichi hadn't asked about that, although Atsuro had tried to sort it out. But Naoya knew it was only because of the time limit they had been on. Things had spiralled a bit since then. It was unreadable, but the best guess towards his expression would be the correct guess of annoyed.
"Did you fall down while you were out there? Have anyone bump into you that might have stolen it?" He'd gone back to the issue at hand. The first aid stuff was still in the bedroom, but he'd get to that once he knew Keiichi wasn't going to run off blindly to look for the wallet. He'd been gone for hours, he needed a starting point.

Immidiately, K1's memory jumped to that moment that morning. "Yeah. I was going down the stairs, and I ran into Minato. He dropped all of his stuff when he fell, he might of picked it up then..." Once again, K1 swore under his breath. Minato was running off to kill himself that day. Knowing Minato, he'd probably already left so they could get a head start on the Tartarus thing.
At that moment, K1 remembered the mail he'd gotten on his COMP, and opened it up to see what it was about. Looked like it was from Yuugi, like K1 had thought... and nothing about the wallet. That figured.
"If Minato's got it, we'll have to get it when they get back," K1 said. "Unless you want to go break down another door."

Naoya nodded and glanced towards the bathroom. It had been eight or so minutes, but it was likely Kaini was going to be there a good half hour. That was the outside of how long the warm water would last, but Naoya knew the teen's injuries would make things slow going. That and the amount of dried blood and filth he had accumulated. His hair alone had been evidence of that. He glanced at where Keiichi had repocketed the COMP and briefly regarded the teen's face.
"Yuugi went with Minato, didn't he?"
Many a person was freaked by Naoya's level of observation. Keiichi was probably used to it.

K1 nodded. "Yeah. He said that if he doesn't come back, we should go after him." He really didn't approve of what Yuugi was doing. Yuugi was probably crying his eyes out over Minato, too. Going along to grieve. Yeah. Great idea.
Once again K1 was reminded of why the two of them were on bad terms. Stupid Yuugi. Stupid Atem, too. They both were responsible.
He sighed. "Where's the bandages?"

"They're with the other supplies in the bedroom. I'll got get them," Naoya replied, walking off without waiting for a response to Keiichi. He'd get some medicated cream, too. Fingernails didn't qualify as sanitary. -----
Kaini winced. Even after a good ten minutes, the water cascading down the drain was still tinted pink. He'd almost gotten sick at the first large bit of scab that had sluffed off. A lot of the larger wounds had reopened in the shower. The hot water had softened the scabs and the small bit of rubbing he was able to do and taken them clean off. He had a lot of open wounds now, but the warm water made it a relief more than a discomfort.
It had been idiotic to take his shirt off in front of Keiichi. Anyone that cared would have had a negative reaction to the scarring. As he carefully massaged the shampoo through his hair, his scalp a bit raw from the accumulated salt thanks to sweat, his mind once again wandered to what would be happening over the next few days.
They'd be going back to their world. Kaini had never been to Japan. He'd stopped watching the news by the morning of the day he'd vanish from Los Angeles - the teen didn't know about the way the sky over Tokyo had changed thanks to the deaths of the four Devas and the breakdown of the barrier between the demon and human realms. He'd left early to hang out with friends.
Friends... those were behind him. He knew that now. He honestly hadn't had many, and most of them were just good aquaintances. He wondered if Keiichi had any. He hoped Cain wasn't the only one his brother spent time with. He pushed the thoughts aside and went back to Japan. Well, Nihon. For all the Island did, it didn't change the fact that Kaini's internal monologuing was in English. It was his first language... he'd be getting real world practice with Japanese soon enough, he supposed.
All of these thoughts took maybe a minute to pass through his head. And they were still rehashes of the way his mind had been racing. At least he wasn't looking back at the events of his prevous life again....

K1 sighed and collapsed back on the couch before lifting his hand up to examine his palm once more. He really had done a number to it. It had been a few minutes, and it was still seeping blood. It stung too. He was such an idiot.
He lowered his hand and glanced toward the bathroom. Kaini would probably be in there a while. He had been strung up on that cross for a while, and who knew what filth had accumulated since then? K1 remembered how badly he'd needed that shower after coming to the island. Middle of summer? Running around fighting demons all of the time? Water scarce and no change of clothes? Yeah. Definitely needed.

Naoya came out holding the wrap. He'd known getting Keiichi to buy extra was a good idea. Kaini was going to need it for the wounds after that shower. The water would open them up again. He reached out and grabbed Keiichi's wrist without saying a word.
There was no attempt to be careful or gentle as he applied the medicated lotion. And the stuff would sting like a mother. He had a firm grip on the respective wrist to each hand as he applied it. Keiichi could jerk, but it would be responded with a tighter clamp. He wouldn't get lose, and even if the rest of his body thrashed the hand would stay remarkably still... but it would still hurt like hell.

K1 flinched as the medicated lotion was applied to his skin. It was his own fault and he knew it, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt. At least the wounds weren't too large.
He tried to distract himself from the sting of the lotion by thinking about something unrelated to the current predicaments. He failed. Horridly. All he could think of was the Lockdown, or his friends back home, or Kaini, or Yuugi.

Naoya firmly wrapped the bandages around Keiichi's wrist. They were just loose enough to not cut off circulation. He pulled back his hands after tying the bandages in place, "Flex your hands, I want to make sure you have full range of motion.
It had been almost half an hour since Kaini had gone into the bathroom. The walls were thin enough in the apartments that both Naoya and Keiichi would have no problem hearing the water shut off. -----
Kaini gingerly stepped out of the tub. He wasn't stupid enough to try it without bracing his hand on the wall to the side. The wounds were bleeding enough that he had a few trails of watered down blood running down. Naoya had left bandages and medicated cream in the bathroom... Kaini was grateful for that. He grabbed one of the huge amount of towels Naoya had managed to set out before Keiichi got into the bathroom with his twin.
He winced and closed his eyes as he carefully padded the various wounds, the inability to cry or even tear still remaining. The back was definently the worst. If wounds could have wounds, Kaini had managed it. But for all the discomfort, he did feel a lot better. He could probably go to Japan with them tomorrow and help them fight... that was a relief as well.
He wrapped a towel somewhat tightly around his back to prevent further trails of blood as he grabbed the cream and began applying it to his legs. He could get help with the back after he got pants on. Keiichi had given him black pants of the style the older teen usually wore, and the shirt was of the same style as well, just dark grey. It was a bit heavier than he was used to, Kaini's tattered shirt had been too heavy for a t-shirt but too light for a sweater, while Keiichi wore sweaters.
He'd get it on after rubbing in the lotion on his legs and taking care of the rash. Which could take a good ten minutes, he admitted to himself, and would be awkward with how he had to have his arms at his sides to keep the towel in place.

K1 did so. It was a little tight, but it looked like he could move his hands.
He looked up as he heard the shower turn off, and brightened a little bit. "Sounds like he's done."

Naoya said nothing. He didn't even nod. He knew Kaini would be some time in there. He'd give the teenager fifteen minutes before he checked on him. There hadn't been the sound of someone falling, so the teen was probably just moving slowly for his injuries. -----
Kaini finished applying powder, feeling annoyed that he had diaper rash at his age. It was understandable considering everything that had happened, but he still couldn't help feeling embarassed.
He gave a wry smile at that thought. It was a normal thing to be embarassed about. Normal. It was a word he'd probably never be able to use again in a few days. He sighed, he needed to stop beating himself up.
He made sure the powder was sticking before pulling on the pants. If nothing else, being twins was an advantage in this regard. He grabbed the shirt and the bandage roll. He was now officially starving. he'd gotten the grime off and the blood was as cleaned up as could be. He felt like he could drink one of the Great Lakes and eat an entire farm of cows at the moment. He was pleased that the thought of food didn't turn his stomach.
He put his hand on the bathroom door and opened it. His hair was still damp and he still had a towel wrapped around his upper body due to the open wounds, but he'd have to drop it so they could get to his back. He hoped Keiichi didn't freak again. The medical supplies were wrapped up in the dark grey sweater-shirt.
"I'm done," he stated with little in the way of any emotion as he looked up from the open door. He closed it and walked towards his siblings.
Because considering Naoya a cousin wasn't the battle he was concerned with, after all. So he'd allowed himself to shift into thinking of them both as siblings.

K1 jumped up from his seat on the couch. Kaini was alright... Looked like K1's pants fit him too. Of course they did, they were twins. Identical twins. Boy, that was going to be fun to explain to Atsuro and Kaido.
"Hey guys, guess what? In the five minutes we were gone, we traveled to an alternate dimension, hung out there for a month, killed a demon and we brought back my twin brother I didn't know about! Oh, and he's Seth, and he's gonna help us kill God."
Even in his head that sounded stupid. Well, Naoya probably could explain it better.
"Hey, Kaini! How are you feeling?" K1 asked.

Naoya looked up and made his usual mental note of things. He could see a bit of where the blood had seeped through the towel. Kaini had put it on to prevent too much bleeding, he was sure.
Kaini saw Cain looking at him but chose to answer his twin "...I suppose I'm great considering. I can't get to the wounds on my back, I'm not a contortionist," he hesitated as he looked at Keiichi's bandaged hands, "Is it okay for me to take the towel off so you can help? I don't want you to hurt yourself again, Keiichi-oniisan."
There. He'd gotten out Keiichi's birth name and managed the honorific. Naoya grinned his usual creepy grin at the honorific. It was the first time either he or Keiichi had been with the world to hear it.

K1's face turned to a rather surprised looking one before his face went red. "D-Don't call me that! You don't have to use an honorific. Just Keiichi, or K1, all my friends call me that. Keiichi-oniisan just sounds weird." He groaned before looking at Kaini's back. He could see where the wounds had bled through.
"And... don't worry about me," K1 said. He forced out a smile. "I promise, I won't do that again."
Great. Now Kaini was worrying about him. Wasn't it the role of the older sibling to worry about the younger one? Granted it was only by a few minutes, but still.

"S-sorry! I just thought... I should have asked!"
Oh yeah, they were twins... right now it was the scarring that differentiated one from the other more than anything else. Kaini hesitated for a moment before carefully lowering the towel. He winced a bit as a few of the wounds had already begun to scab, meaning the towel had tried to fuse to the wound. It caused a bit more bloodflow than might have happened otherwise, which trailed down and gathered a bit at the pantsline.
He sighed and put the shirt on a coffee table, along with the medical supplies. Naoya was reaching for them when Kaini spoke in a flat voice.
"I don't want your help," he stated. It was a touch dark... it wasn't anything out of the realm of ordinary like some of Keiichi's darker moments. More of a flat point bordering on a threat. Naoya glared at Kaini for a moment, but actually stepped back. Keiichi wasn't used to bandaging severe wounds... he wouldn't take responsibility if they infected.
Naoya walked over to where he had left the sheets and carefully picked them back up, "I'll take these to the laundry," he stated and walked out of the apartment before anyone could argue. Not that they would have, he had copped that 'no room for argument' tone when he said it.
Kaini's gaze softened and he turned back to Keiichi. His brother might not take the way he subtley snapped at Cain well...
