"That demon thing you talked about?" she paused for a moment, "I think I may have been putting my own world's spin on that. So I'm sorry about that too. It's great that you've got friends from your world here..." Chibiusa trailed off. Now she was depressing herself.
She picked up the bowl and began drinking down the ice cream. It had become a pain to just spoon it out.

Midori sighed. "Well, you might have been right. Who knows? I'm pretty sure we won't until we're dead." Now she was depressed herself.
It seemed Nanoha was the only slightly happy person at this booth.

"You know, since there are lots of misconceptions... I guess I can tell you about myself. You know the whole crowned princess heir to the galactic kingdom thing, right? Well, I'm also the leader of a team of Sailor Soldiers that call themselve the Sailor Quartetto. These four Amazon girls got brainwashed by this corrupt woman who fancied herself true queen of the Silver Millenium, but when my mother defeated her they were freed..."
She waited for Midori to respond before continuing. She didn't realize she had hit one of the canon differences square on the head. In the anime, the Amazones Quartetto were villians who were indeed purified, but rather annoying. And they had dropped off the face of the franchise afterwards. They certainly weren't Sailor Soldiers...

Midori gasped. "Wow, really? They sure weren't Sailor Soldiers in the anime! That's actually kinda cool, now that I think of it. And you're the leader of them too!"
Nanoha smiled. They were finally talking again. This had been a good plan, even if it was costing her quite a bit (Midori, in her depression, had eaten a good five bowls of ice cream).

Chibiusa nodded, "Wow, really? That's terrible! I mean, they're my closest friends! Saturn's so much older than me... we've kind of grown apart, too. I mean, we're still friends, but she's not really Hotaru-chan anymore, you know? And she's so into science she leaves me behind half the time... Oh hey, I noticed earlier you were looking at me like a kid. I'm actually over nine hundred. Was that different in the animation?"
Yes, Chibiusa, it was. You were only as old as you looked in the anime, not just under the age of Crystal Tokyo...

Midori's jaw dropped. After a long pause, she said, "Yes."
She ate another bite of ice cream. "Tell me more! This is interesting!"

"You... actually though I was twelve, didn't you?"
Chibiusa paused for a moment, "Oh Cosmos, that explains so much! I was born shortly after the founding of Crystal Tokyo at the turn of the 20th century! The first year of Crystal Tokyo was the year 2000, and I was born on June 30th of that year. But I stayed in the form of a little girl for a really long time!"
Chibiusa put the spoon down, "It was really really frustrating! All the people of Crystal Tokyo made fun of me! Some of them even had the gall to say I wasn't my mother's child because I didn't hvae the mark of the royal line on my forehead! The only person I could tak to was Puu, but the teasing didn't stop. I... kind of got frustrated one day and sort of stole the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou... cause if I could use it I could.. I guess I thought it would prove I was the true heir..." Chibiusa trailed off. She felt idiotic admitting to all of this.
(OOC: I think I should give Midori and Nanoha a chance to respond. XD There is fan division on the translation of the stone's name, but the most commonly accepted is Phantom Silver Crystal.
Also, Puu is Sailor Pluto. Any self respecting fan of SM know this. I think her name may have been Puu even in the dub. Its a cutesy pet name Chibiusa came up with.)

((OOC: Midori and Nanoha don't really have much to say, so I'd continue on.))
Midori gasped. "You stole it? No way!"

Chibiusa flushed, "It was just supposed to be for a little bit! You know, like borrowing?" Her face got a little dark, "B-but, I didn't know about the protective barrier it gave the palace... a-and it got attacked... a-and mom almost got killed..." Chibiusa shook her head. It wasn't the greatest of memories, and she'd felt rather attacked by Midori's comments. She took a deep breath, "Anyways, I went and stole one of Puu's Time Keys so I could go back and get the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou of the past... I hoped that maybe the powers of both crystals could help mom... I felt really really bad..."
(OOC: And I'm pausing again due to canon conflict. Puu/Pluto HELPED Chibiusa go back in time in the anime. In the manga, Chibiusa did it of her own volition, and rather surprised the poor time guardian.)

"W-wait, I thought she helped you go back in time!" Midori said, a bit flustered from this revelation. Chibiusa sure did steal a lot of stuff.
"I guess that's another difference between the manga and anime versions of Chibiusa-san's worlds," Nanoha said.

"Are you nuts? That's one of the three taboos as the guardian of time!" Chibiusa paused at Nanoha's statement, "Oh. Right. Anyhow, I ended up kind of landing on a date between Usagi and Mamoru," she flushed a bit. She had totally kissed her father by accident. Thinking back, that had all been very weird. She coughed for a moment, "Anyhow, me and Usagi got into this huge fight and I pulled a toy gun on her. She was nothing like mom, but when she said her name was also Usagi Tsukino I knew she had the Maboroshi no Ginzuishou and tried to get her to give it to me. I... kind of pretended to shoot her before running off. I think I was trying to make a point... Anyhow, they chased me down and found me crying. I used Luna-P, this magic ball Mercury had made for me, to convince Usagi's family I was her cousin... But the Black Moon terrorists had chased me. The Sailor Soldiers of the past ended up getting captured as they killed the members of the terrorist group..."
Chibiusa paused as Midori looked confused again, "Did I just conflict with what you know again?"
(OOC: In the anime, Moon purified the members of the Black Moon clan. In the manga they were killed. MAJOR MAJOR difference, finally veering away from the anime "let's heal" to the manga "kill to protect" way of thinking.
Aaaannnd, time for Midori to react. Don't you love this cliffnotes version of the manga? XDD)

((OOC: Oh yes. XD))
Midori had gasped in horror at this latest revelation. "They killed them?! But..."
Nanoha nodded. "It would seem so, Chibiusa-san."

Chibiusa was confused at Midori's reaction. It isn't her fault she didn't know they were merely corrupted in the anime. Or that the queen had decided to banish a group and all future descendants to a cold and desolate planet.
"But what? They were terrorists! They wanted to overthrow Crystal Tokyo over some nonsense over the longer lifespan being blasphemous to the way man was supposed to be! A really nasty guy had been using magic against my mother and she banished him to Nemesis... actually, that was part of the problem. The guy we'd know later as Wiseman merged with the planet and then used his magnified powers of Chaos to give powers to the terrorists..."
(OOC: XD "Prince" Demand of the manga was this total psychopath who was given rule of the "Black Moon Clan", a group of terrorists whom Chaos blessed due to the corruption in their hearts. He wasn't really a prince. In the anime, the Earth didn't freeze over and none of this "purify the planet" stuff occured.
In the anime the Black Moon Clan were the descendants of those who had refused to accept Neo Queen's purificantion process after the Earth finished freezing over. It paints the Neo Queen as a dictator an dmakes the Black Moon very sympathetic.
They weren't in the manga. They were just one fo the many hurdles someone who wanted to unite the Earth would have to face.)

"But in the anime... Sailor Moon purified them, she didn't kill them..." Midori said, still very much surprised.
"Yes, there was always the possibility of putting them in jail and through rehabilitation. While there are many genuinely evil criminals, it's always possible the others could be helped," Nanoha said. Of course, no one ever died when she fought people, since she was a master of non-lethal magic. It may cause massive destruction, and it would most likely hurt for a while, but it was always something one could recover from.

Chibiusa paused. Purified?
"Um... how exactly did that work?"
Before Midori had a chance to answer, Nanoha had put her opinion of the situation into play. Chibiusa nodded, "I guess that might have worked. But it was a case of kill or be killed. Also, back in the 20th century people on Earth didn't know about aliens and cosmic magic beyond unconfirmed rumors and conspiracly theories. And I don't think it would have worked. They were a lot like stories of religious fanatics I've heard in the 20th century."
