Chibiusa blushed, "Puu designed the dresses. She really likes making clothes," she turned to Nanoha as she folded the picture back up, "Yeah. He was still using his birth name, like my mom was. Then he was Mamoru, not Endymion. Mom was Usagi, not Serenity. I'm not really sure what caused it, but at one point mom's hair color changed to silver. I think it might have to do with her fully awakening to her past life, actually." (OOC: In the manga, Princess and Neo Queen Serenity had white/silver hair. Like Queen Serenity. No explanation is ever given as to the reason for the change, even by Naoko. In the anime, Neo Queen/Princess Serenity had blond hair, just like Usagi. The fan theories for the change are all over the place. The most liekly reason is that Naoko figured out a way to get her way. Originally Usagi was suppsoed to have white/silver hair after transforming, but the editor said it wouldn't look good on a cover. Some early manga art shows her with hair like that because of this. The comment on Puu/Pluto/Setsuna was based from the dream she was said to have in the profiles Naoko made for the Senshi. Fashion Designer, or to own her own line of clothes.  ) |

"That doesn't make sense. Because my mother's hair color changed after she lost the ability to become Sailor Moon. When the Silver Moon Crystal regressed back into the basic Ginzuishou, I mean," Chibiusa thought, "I suppose it might be linked to that. I never really asked about it. It did kind of throw me off when I met Usagi, though."
(OOC: In the manga, it is stated Serenity lost the ability to become Sailor Moon shortly after being crowned. Fanon states its cause the ability was transferred to Chibiusa as a latent thing. The regression of the silver crystal is fanon to explain how both Moon and Chibi Moon could transform with the silver crystal but have different sailor crystal "forms" ie Pink and Silver Moon)

"She could always be dying it, then," Nanoha finally said, unable to think of any other answers. "Well, I guess we're all done eating?"
She looked at Midori, who was finally done with all of that ice cream. "I feel sick..." Midori complained.
Nanoha gave a nervous laugh.

Chibiusa looked mildly offended, but was distracted by Midori. She leapt up and grabbed a small trashcan the ice cream shop had out, pulling it over to Midori as she knocked off the lid.
"Here," she smiled, somehow managing to show concern at the same time. She looked up to Nanoha, "I know that look. Pallas isn't a stranger to it."

Midori looked extremely grateful for the trash can, because she then puked all over the inside.
"Ugh... Thanks, Chibiusa-chan..." Midori said. "Shoulda stopped at seven bowls."
Nanoha gave another nervous laugh. Once Midori was done puking up every bit of ice cream she had just eaten, she looked at Nanoha and Chibiusa. "Hey, do you guys have cellphones?"

Chibiusa looked down at a silver heartshaped watch on her wrist. It had a silver strap and a pale pink crescent moon in the center, the points facing upwards. A dark pink dot was just above the moon, to the center and right above the points, a red and green one to either side of the moon, and a blue one was below it. A thick white border was around the entire edge. She took it off and handed it to Nanoha, pressing a button to flip it open, revealing it to be far more advanced than it looked. The border didn't open, showing that the white border really was just a border.
"This might work. It's a communication device based on one my mom used to use. Its got video chat and can reach all over the galaxy if need be. But its not made for cellphones... maybe you can reprogram it? Its kind of useless on the island... it isn't made to cross dimensions."
(OOC: Fanon item based on the wristwatch communicators in the manga/anime. Also functions as a watch. I'll update her profile with it tonight.
Its really super advanced, we're talking far future sci-fi here, but Nanoha might be able to do something with it.)

Nanoha looked at it. "Unfortunately, I'm not too good with machines, and the reprogramming of." She gave a nervous smile.
"Aw, dang... I was hoping you guys could somehow be able to connect to the COMP network so I could stay in touch with you." Midori sighed.
Nanoha held up the wristwatch to get a better look at it. "Shari could probably do something to work on it, if you want it to have cell phone connectivity. I've got to head back to Mid-Childa soon anyways."
((OOC: Shari's the mechanic for Riot Force 6 in StrikerS, and the person who designed Subaru and Teana's devices.
My explanation for why Nanoha's on the island is that she got sent there on a mission by the TSAB, who detected the Dimensional Island in the void during a routine mission.))

Chibiusa paused for probably a full minute, as thoughts sped through her mind.
Wait, if she can connect... but no. No! I can't. That might give those insects... but if it meant I could... no. I can't show weakness. No matter how much I want to see Helios. And I have allies here... I'd love to get mom's... but no.. but what about...
Chibiusa realized she was being stared at, "Ah-ah-ah, but how wouldyoufindme!?" She stopped and sweatdropped at herself. That had been rather forced, "I-I mean... could you find me to give it back? Mercury would be annoyed if I lost it. Its pretty advanced..."
She looked extremely sheepish and looked down at her feet. She hoped they wouldn't ask about the pause or flustered behavior. And it was more than evident that's what she was thinking if you got a good look at her face.
Don't ask... please don't ask... she looked rather cute, really.

"I could probably find you if I looked hard enough," Nanoha said. If she had to, she could use Area Search, though she tended to avoid using that spell. Not because it was draining (in fact, it was an extremely low level spell), but because it just felt like Nanoha was violating peoples' privacy when she used it.
"Oh! Do you have a place to stay, Chibiusa?" Midori asked. She'd just dropped the "-chan" altogether. That was sure to cause a few veins to pop.

Chibiusa nodded, "I suppose my hairstyle does make me stand out a bit. It's actually not the most common color either... well, if you're sure it'll be all right," she turned to Midori and paused, "Erm... does your Japan have something against honorifics? And you can call me Usagi, its not like my mom's 20th century self is around to call confusion," she said.
She took in a breath so she could speak without running out of air, "Actually, no I don't. And I don't have Luna P with me to hypnotise anyone, either..." she trailed off. She really didn't want to impose.

Nanoha smiled, and got up to pay the very large bill.
The very, very large bill.
She was never taking these two out to eat again.

Chibiusa suddenly looked like she'd kicked a puppy, "Oh, I'm sorry! I guess I'm just a little uptight considering my status! I don't even call the Quartetto without honorifics! Or Saturn! I even use -kun for Helios-kun! Its okay, you can call me Chibiusa if you want! Although I think I'd prefer Usa... Chibi kind of makes me feel little, y'know?"
Chibiusa saw as Nanoha picked up the bill and paled a bit, "I can help with that!" she said.
She had only had the one bowl, but Midori had eaten enough to make her mother's 20th century self sick. She didn't want to put Nanoha out that much. And while she didn't have the biggest allowance, she could at least cover some of the bill. It didn't cross her mind that it would seem odd to some that the crowned princess only had the equivalent of about thirty American dollars in her wallet.

Chibiusa sweatdropped. More and more, Midori reminded her of Pallas. On that note, Nanoha had the natural and gentle leadership of Ceres... She wanted to argue the point with Nanoha, but she didn't want to deal with the firm, "I've got it" that Ceres would pull. So she nodded, "No, I don't have anyplace to stay. But its really all right, I don't want to impose. Hey, do you know where your other friends are? I'd love to meet them. The hair of that one guy.... uh, Yuugi was it?" Actually, she remembered cause she thought it was humorous anyone would name their child "game", "Yeah, I'd love to see that. Someone with crazier hair than the Quartetto's sounds interesting."
(OOC: I'm assuming Midori geeked out about Yuugi's crazy hair. XD)
