(OOC: Me and FF, if you wanna join we ask you're quite active)
Yuugi swallowed hard. That meant that Temu was a shadow, which was kind of scary. He supposed it made some kind of sense. Even though Atem hadn't done so in a while, he was able to start a Game of Darkness. He looked down at the Puzzle. Apparently an inverted pyramid was a symbol of darkness as well. He was beginning to be glad he didn't have a Persona.
He was actually surprised Souji hadn't mentioned recognizing him. Although from what he could piece together, it seemed Minato and Souji had quite a few years between them. It was a bit of a relief that the silver haired teen didn't know him. He avoided awkward questions about where Atem was.
Although now the mall seemed like a fairly dangerous place to be. But they didn't have a choice. He needed new clothes. He sighed, and tried to sort through the recent events as the three made their way to the mall. It made for a quiet trip. He needed to figure out how to ask K1 about his world...

K1 noticed the large amount of police cars near one end of the mall. It looked like they'd closed off an entire wing of the mall. Hopefully the clothing store wasn't in that wing of the mall.
As they walked, K1 kept his hand in his pocket the whole time, always on his COMP. Souji took notice of this, and turned toward the police cars. "I'm going to need to wait for them to leave before I can investigate, so I'll stay with you for now," Souji said.
"'K." K1 said. He turned to Yuugi. "Something on your mind?"

Yuugi almost jumped out of his skin as K1 asked him if something was wrong. He turned towards Souji, who had gone back to looking at the situation with the eyes of someone trying to solve a puzzle. He looked at his feet, wanting to tell K1 he was fine, but knowing he was a terrible liar.
There were lots of things wrong. He was homesick, but not in the "I miss Japan" sense. It was that he missed his friends, people he knew from his world. Even though Atem had only been unconscious for around twelve hours, he missed him too. Before last night, he'd had someone from his world to talk to.
And then there was K1. He didn't want to force the blue haired teen to talk about his world, but the more things advanced the more concerned he was. He understood a respect for gods, and knew some people's respect bordered into fear. But there was more to K1. The COMPs that sent messages from an omniscient demon, the demons themselves, the talk of reincarnation... everytime he tried to ask about it he'd stop himself. A good minute had passed before he looked up at K1 again.
"I guess I'm panicking a bit," he glanced over to Souji again before looking back at K1, "I'm not used to being alone," he waved his arms, "I'm not saying you're bad company! It's just I'm used to Jounouchi-kun messing around, or at least having my other self to talk to. The past year has been pretty busy, and I can't even find people who know much beyond basic arcade games here. I miss my granpda, too. I know you think she's annoying, but you've got Midori. With my other self like he is... and you're afraid of telling me about your world, and... I'm just overwhelmed, I guess...." Yuugi looked at the ground again. The words weren't forming well. And in his attempt to unload without causing problems, he'd accidentally brought up K1's world again. He hadn't meant to, and now he couldn't take it back.
With his face to the ground he squeezed his eyes shut, trying to hold back tears. Things were really beginning to pile up on him. When Atem had fallen unconscious, it had really hit. He had begun to feel alone, even with K1 nearby. He felt terrible about that. K1 was being nice, and he wasn't being a good friend at all. But that's what everything came down to. Loneliness.

K1 lowered a hand he'd outstretched, realizing he'd opened up a new can of worms. There was a bit of silence. "I'm sorry I've been hiding so much... it's just that knowledge of the lockdown wasn't supposed to get out... I'm afraid about what will happen if it starts spreading around. As it is, I'm wondering why I haven't been smote where I stand."
Well, he actually had an idea. But that was another thing he didn't feel comfortable talking about.
Souji was still listening in, though he was mainly paying attention to the police. These two were really uncomfortable with each other. They reminded him of how Ayane had acted around him. Souji chuckled to himself at the memory. That was an odd analogy, but it fit so well.
((OOC: Ayane's one of the S. Links from P4, and one of the girls you can date too. GUESS WHO I DATED ON MY FIRST PLAYTHOUGH?))

(OOC: OH SO A RELATIONSHIP? *dies of laughter*)
Yuugi shook his head, wiping his eyes with his jacket sleeve. He rubbed to try and give the illusion that he'd gotten something in his eyes. It failed pretty horribly, "No, I don't want to rush you. I... I knew about Atem for a really long time before I admitted it to my friends. I mean, sort of. I treated him more like a split personality issue then, though. But..." he took in a deep breath, "It's not an issue now, right? It's really more that I'm homesick."
Despite the stress in his eyes and voice, it was fairly clear the last line was true. If Keiichi knew Yuugi's canon, he'd realize that the boy hadn't been seperate from his friends since solving the Puzzle. Someone had always been there with him, even if was only Atem. He seemed to have headed off a full breakdown, and it was vaguely similar to how Yuzu had acted on the fifth day of the lockdown. He turned to Souji.
"I'm sorry about all that. I've been kind of stressed lately. We can go in now," he'd gotten back to his gentle and soft smile.

Souji nodded, and headed on inside the mall, leading the way. K1 was lagging behind. Great, now he felt depressed. Shouldn't have asked earlier. It had just been a bad idea altogether. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
From the looks of things, there were several clothing stores for them to choose from; well, it was a mall.
"Do you two have enough money to get what you need?" Souji asked K1 and Yuugi, turning around to face them.
"Ah... um..." K1 said. Oh, how easily the money issue came up.

Yuugi nodded. He was obviously feeling better about things, "Yeah, although we probably shouldn't go to any designer stores," he turned to K1, "I can cover it, don't worry. Are you going to be okay on your own, Seta-kun?"
(OOC: So short. XD)

Souji nodded. "I'll be fine. I can defend myself, don't forget." He turned to leave, and waved goodbye as he went. K1 waved back, and turned to Yuugi.
"I guess maybe a thrift store or something?" K1 suggested. As if his choice in clothing wasn't enough of a clue, it was clear K1 didn't know much about clothes and the shopping of.

Yuugi waved too, perhaps a bit overly energetically. But it wasn't him trying to be over the top. Anzu had often compared him to a little kid in both height and personality, and the comparison wasn't a bad one, "Right. Anzu's better at the style thing than I am, but I'm sure we can find something."
It was unlikely the lack of honorific would go over K1's head. Everyone else Yuugi had mentioned had either -san or -chan attached to them. Yuugi pointed to the mall directory, "We should probably start there."

K1 nodded, and walked over to the mall directory. There were several different large chains on the directory, but none that K1 recognized.
"...Well, as long as we stay away from any women's clothing stores, we should be okay, right?" K1 said. "I don't think it really matters where we go anyways, as long as they have clothes and they're cheap."

Yuugi looked mildly annoyed, "And a children's department..." he muttered.
Not many people knew about it, but he'd had to get his high school uniform special ordered. It was rather irritating being his height at times. Constantly being mistaken for a kid was bad enough, but having to shop in the boy's section of stores was really irritating. He didn't recognize any store names, either, but it seemed the clothign stores were located in one part of the mall. Luckily, it was away from the food court.
"We should at least go there and check it out."

K1 nodded, and lead the way, though he honestly had no idea where he was going, just having a vague idea thanks to the directory.
As he walked, K1 didn't say much. To be honest, he couldn't think of anything to talk about at the moment. Anything he could think of as conversation topics were horridly serious, or exclusively related to the subject at hand, and judging by Yuugi's comment earlier, he didn't want to talk about clothes.
As they walked, they passed a card shop, which advertised on a poster attached to the front of the store, "WE HAVE CARDS! MAGIC, POKER, NEOPETS, POKEMON!" At the bottom of the poster was pictures of each card type. "Huh..." K1 said to himself as he walked past. He couldn't help thinking that store needed a better poster.

The poster was indeed guady. Flashy and plastered with characters from each franchise. Yuugi was wondering why K1 was so quiet when he stopped at the sign. He looked up towards K1, who was walking past and cupped his hands, "K1-kun, can we stop here?"
He would go on if K1 said no, but probably be depressed about it. It would be easy to make the mistake that Yuugi was stopping to see if the store carried Duel Monsters, but he was actually just attracted by the poster and the thought of games.
(OOC: Okay, now is the time for lulz. In the anime, its implied that the only changes made to the American version of the cards are just text. As in direct translations and no name changes. The store needs to have cards called "Yu-Gi-Oh!" XDD Especially packs with Atem on the front. XDD)

K1 turned back around to see Yuugi looking like a little puppy dog. Somehow, K1 got the feeling that if he said "no", Yuugi would pout, and whimper and... Why the hell was he making dog analogies.
"Yeah, sure, okay," K1 said. He walked back over ot Yuugi, passing by a poster with what looked like Yuugi's face plastered on it. He blinked, and looked back at it. It wasn't Yuugi after all. It was Atem. Written on the front was "Yu-Gi-Oh! cards for sale here!".
"...What." K1 said.

Yuugi's face lit up. While the comparison to a little dog didn't fit, the comparison to a little boy did. However, he saw K1 hesitate and looked where he was looking and had a rather blank expression, "Uh... what?"
Yeah, pretty much the same reaction, "That looks like what Atem really looks like, minus the tan. And why's he in my school uniform...?"
The owner of the store had finally noticed the potential customers, and his eyes widened when he saw Yuugi. A Yu-Gi-Oh! cosplayer with probably the best looking wig he'd... he paused. No. Island. Right. For all he knew, it was Yugi.
And yes, as far as he was concerned the boy spelled his name Yugi. The teens had stumbled onto a store that sold American cards, after all.
(OOC: NPC, have fun with this. XD)
