"Well, we could go back and I could just burn the remaining dark insects but then again more could've come by now."
"Wait!" Bob interrupted Mario's thoughts ",You know what those things are?"
"Yep," he nodded.

Marinia's ears twitched back for a moment, she thought she heard something nearby.
Glancing around Sarah motioned toward a mossy glade. "Behind those fallen logs mabey?" she suggested.

The stalker disappeared and reappeared somewhere else to avoid detection.
"Sure," Mario agreed and followed them to the logs. There was a hill on the other side of them and at the bottom in engulfing several trees was an enormous version of the hive the Bob found earlier. This one engulfed at least five trees completely in the strange dark material. Mario and Bob instantly dropped to the ground.
"Oh...dear god don't let them hear us don't let them hear us..." Bob whispered to himself.

Marinia spun around so she was facing the forest behind them. She had the distinct feeling they were being watched. Her keen eyes searched the foliage.
Sarah stared wide-eyed at the dark mass. "Wh...what is that?" she whispered.
