Marinia's eyes seemed to glow with the light of battle. Zelda glared at Umbra.
Both were ready to fight.

They all held their axes out and began to close in. Only one was real and they couldn't be sure of which one. If they didn't find out fast though someone was gonna get chopped down to size.
Meanwhile behind the tree, Bob was watching intently and, being a cat, was very observant. He happened to notice that they were all the same except one, the original Umbra. Bob realized this and decided to help out. He gulped and ran out behind the real Umbra jumped and latched onto his head with his claws covering his eyes so he couldn't see.
"Aah! What the hell! Get off me you fool!" Umbra grabbed Bob and threw him against a nearby tree. Unfortunately for him, he lost his concentration allowing Mario to launch a powerful wave of fire, sending Umbra flying into a rock wall.

Umbra was down for the count. He was slashed up and badly damaged.
"I will...be back..." he coughed ",...and I will make sure ALL of you pay dearly for this!" He gave Bob and especially sinister glare which really freaked him out.

"Yep I think I," he coughed ",I think I'm okay..."
"Whew!" Mario wiped the sweat from his forehead with his hat ",Tough fight! He's gotten a bit stronger but thanks to Bob, we managed to beat him. Good thinking there, thankyou!" Mario pat him on the back.
"Hehe...no problem," he blushed a little.

Zelda stood nearby, brushing off her gloves. "indeed." she stated simply.
Marinia wiped off her sword and put it away.

Mario caught a glint of something out of the corner of his eye back in the crater where the dark insect hive was. He ran down into the crater and found a small crystal. He picked it up and struck a little victory pose.
"Yes! Got one!" he happily announced.
Bob looked on with a bit of confusion.

"Huh?" Mario turned around ",Oh, right!" He ran back out of the crater and up to them.
"This is a piece of a thing called the nest jewel, it can control the dark insects and seal them away for good if all the pieces are recovered," Mario explained.
