(oh, okie dokie XD)
"Awww, come ON!" Eddy complained. "We can't evacuate everyone at once! Unless YOU can teleport hundreds of people out of here at once in a millasecond!"
"Oliver probably could..." Raz sighed, catching some attention. "Mii and I might've been able to channel his power through his body, but... now that it's missing..." He slapped his forehead in frustration. "Geez! That's probably why he's gone!!"

"Oliver?" Orson repeated. "You mean the Super Child with the mommy issues?"
"You know him?" 4 asked. Orson nodded enthusiastically. "Well, my colleague does; apparently, the bloke's involved in some risky business."
"Colleague?" This time it wa 4's turn to repeat. Orson chuckled. "A fellow named King Arkham." He looked at Double D with a sly smirk. "Relax; for once, someone's on your side."
"A king won't make much difference if we're all dead." 4 pointed out, surprisingly calm. "We need to find some way to get out of h--"
"Sorry; couldn't help overhearing." John Smith stood at the door; dressed in a tweed jacket and bowtie, his hair combed before his eyes. "I came along with Orson. Now, I've got a special ship that can help evacuate everyone."

Raz did a double-take. "A-are you serious??"
"Hooray!!" Ed cheered.
"Right, then!" Fletcher was already at the doorway, motioning them all out. "Let's get right to it, then! We haven't much time!"
"Haha! Sweet!!" Eddy grabbed Double D by the wrist and was about to speed off, but when he didn't feel his pal brace for the sudden burst of speed, he knew something was wrong. He turned back, discovering that Double D didn't look like he was willing to leave. "Come ON, Double D!"
He only shook his head, his gaze still cast out the window. "All of you head for the ship. I want to see what this Desmond wants from me."
"WHAT!?!" Eddy pulled on him roughly, but for once, he wouldn't budge. "You're CRAZY!! Dammit, Double D, if you REALLY cared...!!"
He was cut off when Double D snapped a glare his way. "If YOU really cared, about each other and MY feelings, you'd do as I say and get to safer ground!" His glare softened as Eddy pulled away. "...it's me he wants. I don't want anymore innocent people to get involved."
Eddy only stood there, going against every thick-headed instinct to grab him anyway. But when even Ed nodded while stuffing the crayons and coloring book into his jacket, Eddy knew he'd have to make the difficult choice, whether he liked it or not.
He ignored a whimpering Marion; she was reaching out for her father as Raz quickly carried her out. "...don't get yourself killed...you stupid angel."
Double D cracked a knowing smile, nodding.

"Damnit Double D, what are you thinking? You shouldn't be alone at a time like this!" Trevor said.
"He won't be." The voice took Trevor off guard, but as you'd expect, he was sent down to check on things. He smirked at Trevor's look. It was rather smug for him, but he couldn't help but be amused at the mixed emotion of anger and joy on Trevor's face.
"Felix... you bas... ... ... aw, what the hell?" Trevor shook his head. "You have the worst timing, you know that?"
"Well... yeah, I could've figured that out," Felix said as he walked from the shadows out into the light so he could be seen.

While gesturing for others to escape out the door, Fleetfoot glanced up, grinning. "Well, look who's back!"
Even WITH his sensory abilities, Double D couldn't have seen this coming. He briefly broke his firm countanence, regarding his lover in shock. "F-Felix...you're..."
"Ha! Good!" Eddy approved. "Now I feel better 'bout leaving you alone, Sockhead!" He elbowed both of them, pushing them together. "Take care of that twit, will ya? And be careful!!"

"Okay; if we're all happy, maybe we should get moving." John Smith said soberly as he cleared the doorway. "Are you two sure you'll be okay?" He asked Felix and Edd.
"Fuck yeah, they will." 4 responded, earning a look of disgust on John Smith's face. "I'm staying behind, too. Never count on lovebirds, that's my policy."
"Kind of a bleak policy, isn't it?" John Smith asked. But 4 had no time to answer-- a loud, humming noise began to fill the air.
"Right!" John Smith exclaimed, his face bright with excitement. "Single file, everyone-- no pushing." Without waiting for the others, he turned and darted away. A crowd of the building's other tenats followed him. Strangely, Lea and her roommates were absent...

"We've dealed with worse," Felix said as he held Double D close. "This Desmond... is just like the rest, no matter what his motives are."
"Well... as long as you're with him, I'll leave then. I'd stay, but Double D would be mad at me, so... cheers," Trevor said, then left with the others.

Double D sighed dismally at 4. "I suppose it'd be pointless in trying to convince you otherwise. Alright." Flanked by the two, he turned back to the window once everyone had darted out of the apartment.
"Desmond!" he called out. "I'll inform you again, I have no intentions of becoming the Wizard of the future! Stop this now before anymore deaths fall on our name!"

Desmong heard the voice distantly and grimaced at its familiarity. He had faced similar voices a thousand times before. "Wizard... it doesn't matter if you accept your destiny or not." He hissed. "You are important to whatever plans the Wizard is crafting on this island... if I kill you, his plans can fall apart at the seams."
"Any idea how to make this guy shut up?" 4 asked calmly. "Because I can hear him from here, and he's pissing me off."
Meanwhile, as John Smith lead his motley crew down towards the apartment's lobby, he gestured frantically. "Hurry up! I'm not going to let a single person die today!"
As soon as they reached the lobby, John Smith produced a short, metal device like a wand and pointed it at the very center of the room. A brief noise was heard, and soon a sound like a strange engine began to fill the air.

Double D bit his lip; he had to admit there was some logic in Desmond's argument. He lowered his gaze, his brow furrowing. "...if things were that simple..." he muttered to himself. "...there'd BE no Wizard to worry about."
Skywise heard it before anyone else. "...what's...!?"
"Our break outta here, I'm guessing," Raz gaped as it came into view. "Whoa... nice."

"There are too many Edwards for too many dimensions!" Felix said. "Your plan will fail and you will only be taking innocent life!" His eyes narrowed. "Not that you care about that, do you? For all we know, the Wizard is just an excuse for you to be able to kill as you please."

Desmond froze; that voice... it was cold and hateful. Desmond snarled angrily and whispered into his communicator:
"Hold your fire. I'm going in."
In a rush, Desmond suddenly took off like a bullet. Crashing through the window that the three had been looking out of, he stood up-- smoking from the high speeds he had achieved. In a frantic rage, he lunged at Felix, making a grab for the angel's throat.
"THE WIZARD TOOK AWAY MY FREEDOM; MY LOVE; MY LIFE!" Screaming, Desmond's prosthetic eye glowed a deep green. "I AM A VENGEFUL GOD OF JUSTICE! I WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO DETSROY HIM!"
Desmond froze in shock-- as well he sould have, seeing as 4 had stabbed him through the gut. Luckily (Or unluckily), 4 seemed to only have stabbed through more prosthetics. Instead of blood, sparks flowed out in a frenzy of fireworks.
"You made two mistakes..." 4 chastised with a smirk. "First, when you broke through that wall you should have screamed 'OH YEAH!' at the top of your lungs; second, you're messing with a few good kids."
Desmond snarled. "Good?" He asked skeptically. "Let me tell you what the Wizard did to me..."
Meanwhile, back in the lobby, John Smith lowered his device as his ship began to fade into the room. He smiled proudly as he stared at it: large, blue, about the size of a phone-booth. One tenant stared at it in shock.
"How the hell are we all supposed to fit in that thing?!" It screamed in anger. John Smith turned back to the crowd of escapees, smiling warmly. He looked wise-- wiser than a young man of his age should have been.
"Trust me," he reassured, "I'm a Doctor."

Double D looked up just as Desmond had charged. His expression shifted considerably.
"WAH!?!" Taken by surprise, he was knocked off his perch, tumbling across the floor. Left slightly dizzy, he took his time in trying to heave himself up; though he was turned away, it seemed that 4 had stopped Desmond in time.
He froze at Desmond's words, growing hesitant. Did he... really want to know what horrors he was capable of...?
Ed gasped, then shot his arms into the air in excitement. "Yay! The TARDIS! I miss that show!"
He recieved many odd looks from everyone else, and Fletcher finally said, "Should I ask, or would I regret doing so?"
"Don't," Eddy, Fleetfoot, and Raz replied simultaneously.

"... show?" The Doctor repeated, confused. "I-I don't understand. I've been on reality TV before, but I don't really have any intent on returning. At least, not unless the killer robots bugger off."
The tenants stared at the Doctor in confusion. They had no idea what he was talking about.
Desmond saw the looked on Eddward's face and scowled. "Afraid to know the truth?" He asked. "Harden yourself, fool! Isn't being emotionless your forte?"
"God, this guy never shuts up!" 4 exclaimed. "Can I, like... duct-tape his mouth, or something?"
Desmond growled and struggled against the sword piercing his gut. "Can you control your guard-dog?" He asked, indicating 4. "He annoys me."
