"Blood?!" Matilda turned white. "Oh fuck... just like Kathy..."
"These things happen naturally. Even so... I am sorry," Enil said with her head down.
Despite his healings, though it would guarantee the angel his life, Masahiro was still in severe pain and screaming as the baby came out. But the baby did not come out crying. Nazz turned white and patted its back softly, hoping it would burp.
Nothing. No breathing. No sounds. No crying. Nothing. Just a bloodied body with no life.
"It's..." Nazz choked on her emotions.
"... No," Trevor gasped.

Everyone grew silent. Percy began to turn, but Fletcher moved him back, making sure he couldn't see.
"...Holy..." Raz barely breathed.
"T...Timmorn's...blood..." Skywise swallowed, averting his gaze.
The healing glow at Double D's fingertips slowly died down, and, terribly weakened, he fell back into Ed and Eddy's arms. They hardly wanted to look, so they instead busied themselves with their friend.
"I...I...m...so...so sorry...!" he choked out, tears cascading down his face. "I...I couldn't...!"

Matilda seemed to be choking and then just drifted away into thin air.
"... Always a fine one for emotion, that one," Enil said with a sigh. "If only I hadn't seen so many newborns slain, I might be able to shed a tear."
"Why...?" Nazz shook her head, still choking back a scream. "Why... How could you do this to...?"
Trevor just remained silent, body shaking, eyes wide.
Reonu began to giggle, causing Trevor and Enil to turn. "Hehehehehehe... that makes my job easier. One target dead before birth... no worries then, friends. I guess I don't have to stab your friend to finish the job. He'll finish himself off before long!"
"YOU SICK SON OF A BITCH!" Trevor lunged and immediately ripped at Reonu's throat. What he didn't expect was his hands to sprout claws and before he knew it, he was covered in the elf's blood.
"Tr-Trevor..." Nazz gasped. "Your hands."
"I'm nothing special like the others... My power's only good for killing... I can't even help my friend birth his babe properly... Damnit!" With that, Trevor fled.
"Well... the emotions in this place tend to skyrocket, don't they?" Enil asked.
"What would you have us do, not care?" Nazz asked.
"No... I'd prefer the emotions to skyrocket... at least then you can call yourselves sane unlike me," Enil replied. "War... does horrible things to your mind."

"Sh..sh-shoot..." Eddy found himself visibly trembling. "Wh-what the heck do we do now??"
"Help....him..." Double D moaned tightly. "Leave me...be... please...help him...I can't... I don't have the..." And with that, he was unconscious.
"D-Double D!" Ed gasped.
"You heard him! We gotta make sure Masahiro's okay, at least!"

Nazz immediately began to check for any signs of damage to Masahiro. As an angel, he didn't have a pulse, nor need one, so she was checking to see if his spirit was drifting or anything like that. Thankfully there was nothing and Masahiro was even whimpering in his self-inflicted sleep... or was it self-inflicted? "He's alright," Nazz said. "He just needs to sleep it off."

The Doctor was respectfully silent; he had seen so many people die, friends and enemies, he could his his tears well. If he had Gallifreyan birthing equipment... no, there was no telling what it would have done to an angel.
The Doctor scolded himself; inside his TARDIS, he had the technology of a long-gone alien empire. But it had never occured to him to carry birthing equipment. All he did was save lives that already were; he had nothing that could save a life that had yet to be.
"I'm sorry." He whispered. "I'm so sorry, but we have to get out of here; Desmond will find us out soon."

Holding Percy close, Fletcher nodded to the Doctor. "You've been doing more than enough to help. Take pride in that, at the very least. Just...take us anywhere safe. We'll all manage out from there."

"Trevor... he's out there," Nazz said. "He just ran..." She shook her head. "Please. I don't want to see anyone else die."

"What!?!" Many of the others cried that, but Eddy's was most audible. "That moron!" With that, he bolted out the door, and seconds later, returned with Trevor dragging behind.
"What's WRONG with you, running off like that!?!"

The Doctor frantically pointed towards his TARDIS. "Listen, I sympathize; I really do," He said, speaking quickly and in one breath, "but we need to leave. NOW."

"Let go!" Trevor said, pulling away. When Nazz looked at him, she noticed his eyes had became more feline in nature and fangs were pertruding from his mouth.
"Tr-Trevor," Nazz gasped.
"I get this way when I'm mad, ok?" Trevor said. "Like when I'm... severely mad. When I just..."
"Pity party later," Enil said. "We need to get out of here."

"Really, now." In quiet rage, Fletcher grabbed Trevor roughly by the shirt, glaring unflinchingly into his feline face. "And how, pray tell, will running headfirst into inevitable destruction do anyone any bit of good?"
He pulled Trevor closer and whispered, so that only he could hear, "Don't make me lose you again, you fool."
Letting go, he turned back to the Doctor. "We're all ready. You may proceed."
"But Fletcher!" Ed spoke up. "What about Felix?"
"He'll find us when he's ready."

"Alright," The Doctor said as the TARDIS doors slammed shut behind them. This little blue box-- somehow it was bigger on the inside; massive even. And a door in the back implied this wasn't the only room. However, the Doctor ignored what, to him, was an everyday occurance and rushed towards a large metal piller covered in screens, levers and switches.
"As a very wise man once said..." the Doctor said, throwing several levers down and pulling what seemed to be a handbrake. "Allonsy!"
The TARDIS shook as the sounds of its engines vibrated through the air. A phenomenon similar to flying filled the room, knocking everyone off their feet, save the Doctor who had clutched the pillar before-hand.
"I'm taking us to the village!" The Doctor yelled over the TARDIS' engines. "Well... hopefully."
