At first all was quiet... ... ...
Suddenly a rabbit rushed out of the branches and such, and took off away from the group...
However, relaxation ended rather quickly.
"VULCAN JAB!!!!!"
Elane barely dodged aside as bursts of ki energy the size of fists blasted past her and completely knocked over the tree she had been sitting at the foot of. No-one had time to look surprised as a figure jumped into the scene.
Apparently the threat was enough for Knuckle Joe to react in kind.
"SPIN KICK!!!" The boy jumped in the air and, spinning one leg like a helicopter blade and sending a crescent arc of ki energy at Mahin, whom quickly ducked as it left a deep resounding cut in a boulder right behind him.
Knuckle Joe hit the ground and raised his fists in self defense, growling. "Whatcha plan on doing if I DIDN'T show myself?" He said holding his fists up ready to launch another barrage of Vulcan Jabs.

Elane waited axiously, tightening her grip on her weapon until, finally...
...a rabbit hopped out of the brush.
"...oh..." she muttered, lowering her bow and arrow slightly. She could feel her cheeks flush red as se realized that there was nothing truly threatening about the situation, and she therefore didn't have to ready her weapon. "...well...this is a bit awkw--"
Suddenly, there was a shout and Elane barely had time to duck before a strong force knocked over the tree behind her. "Woah--!" Elane aimed her weapon again as the same being that knocked the tree down launched an attack on the large (she honestly didn't know what the heck it was) that had appeared to her first.
Her previous fears forgotten, Elane's eyes narrowed at Knuckle Joe in anger and frustration. Just who the heck did he think he was, sneaking around, launching random attacks on innocent people like that?
"Heh," she said, a small smirk crossing her lips, "I didn't think you'd show yourself, anyhow. I figured a coward like yourself would rather keep his hiding place in the branches than try and spring an attack on a Lyoko Warrior.
"IMPACT!" she shouted, giving the comand that normally gave all Lyoko warriors' weapons an extra boost before releasing her arrow.

Knuckle Joe saw the arrow coming from a mile away, and quickly ducked the attack, causing it to implant itself in the tree right behind him. "Hey!! You were the one that was going to attack me toots! Forgive me for reacting self defense!"
He lifted back up on his feet... However, his head inadvertedly hit the arrow's wooden middle. "Ow!" He rubbed his head, as he yanked the arrow out of the tree and snapped it in half like a twig. "I hate long range weapons... Their so cheap..."

Despite the fact that she had missed completely, Elane allowed herself a small smile when she saw that her arrow had implanted itself into the tree that her target had been standing in front of moments before. She couldn't have done that by herself. This meant that her powers were working just fine, even though she was ninety-five percent sure that this place wasn't Lyoko.
Her positive thinking was interrupted, however, when she heard him speak.
...WHAT did he just call her?!
Ignoring the dog-like creature (probably not a good move on her part. It was trying to help, after all), Elane stepped up to Knuckle Joe. Her eyes narrowed as she pulled an arrow from her quiver. "Oh, so you don't like long-range weapons, huh?" she said, and put the tip of the arrow to his throat (jeez, this guy was short). "Alright, then. And for your information, bub, I was just minding my own business before I heard YOU sneaking around. And unless you want your FACE rearanged, courtesy of my FOOT, don't EVER call me that AGAIN!! Get the picture?"

Mahin stayed behind the tree watching everything that was happenign hoping they wouldn't notice him.

[No problem, Knuckle Joe DID have that coming.]
Let me tell you something; there are very very very very very... VERY few things that spooked the tough guy known formerly as Knuckle Joe. But let me ALSO tell you, Elane succeeded in scaring the everloving CRAP out of the poor kid.
He gulped. "Eh... Right..." He nodded in agreement as he slowly pushed the arrow away from his neck. "So... Care to explain what you all are doing out here in the first place? I'm pretty much lost, so I'm just willing to guess we're in the middle of nowhere..."

Mahin walked out from behind the tree when he noticed it was safe. "I'm guessing the coast is clear now." he said.

Satisfied with his reaction, Elane put the arrow back in her quiver and stepped off, regaining her posture. She hadn't meant to blow up like that. It just sort of happened whenever she got angry. Like that time Ulrich called her a wuss...
She turned to face the others, looking at all of them. First the blue dog-like creature that seemed to come straight out of a videogame, then the large thing with the green shirt on, and finally the short kid that she had intimidated moments before.
What was she doing here?
It had seemed like an ordinary battle; some monsters (mainly bloks), an activated tower...and then she fell...
...it took her a few moments to realize that she must have fallen into the Digital Sea.
Her eyes widenes as she stared off into space, totally lost in thought.
That's right.
A Blok had shot her in the shoulder and the impact of the lazer must have caused her to fall backwards into the Sea.
"...I'm not sure..." she said, finally snapping out of her trance-like state. "But I think...I-I think I'm supposed to be dead...?"
The last sentence had sounded like more of a question than a statement.
((ooc: Pffffffftt, I have no idea how much sense that's gonna make to you guys. XDD)).

(Well it makes perfect sense to me. I LOVED 'Code Lyoko' when it was still playing on Cartoon Network.)
Knuckle Joe looked at her confused... ... ...
"Dead?" He crossed his arms, looking at the girl appraisingly. "Hah, yeah right! I mean, you're still standing here, still breathin', still doin everything you COULD do alive. Unless you were some kind of zombie, I can't see how you COULD be dead." Blunt as the response was he had made his point.
If he had recieved any glares, ESPECIALLY from Elane, he immediately held up his arms defensively. "Hey! I'm just sayin'!"

Elane looked at him. It wasn't an angry look, but one of confusion. "Well, I know I'm not dead, it's just that...see, before I came here I..."
Should she tell him?
After all, Lyoko was supposed to be the team's best-kept secret. She couldn't just tell some stranger about it!
In the end, she just waved it off. "Nevermind," she said. "You guys probably wouldn't believe me if I told you, anyways."
