Madotsuki was still standing there, watching.
"...We should go to the village," she finally said. "It's a pretty long walk, but if we start now, we can get there by nightfall."

Plus, Bonsai Village might be where the person he was looking for was. It was worth a look.

Magus thought for a moment before nodded. Despite not knowing the island well, the girl still knew more than he did. And a village would be easier to terrorize into the information he wanted if it came to that.

After all, despite all the time he's spent with Crono and his bleeding heart friends, he still had a purpose. To find his sister, even if he had to mow down the entire world to do it. He glanced towards Madotsuki, wondering how she would react if it came to a bloodfest... he quickly turned away from her at the thought and pointed, "It's this way, correct?"

Madotsuki nodded, and pulled a map out from the basket on her bike. "Tree was going to Bonsai Village anyways, so we might see her there again!"

She seemed facinated by Magus as she rode her bike next to him. As it is, she was somehow riding her bike without holding onto the handlebars. Probably more dream energy at work.

Magus sighed. He didn't have any interest in meeting Tree again, despite the little girl seeming to have some kind of friendship with her. He walked over, not seeming phased by the "magical" bike riding, and looked at the map. An island in the middle of a void, huh? It seemed more like Gaspar's End of Time than before.

"If we're to make it there by nightfall, we should go," he spoke.
