Shantotto saw all three attacks coming, grinning widely all the while. She let out her trademark laugh, before jumping over Waddle Dee’s attack, performing several front flips all the while. “BIND!!!”
Before Waddle Dee could respond, he was suddenly enclosed inside a purple sphere with a ring encircling it. If he tried moving, he’d find himself stuck tight to the sphere, barely able to move. One could notice as well, that Waddle Dee had been binded in the exact same spot Shantotto had been standing mere seconds before… I’m gonna let you guys do the math. (XD)
Shantotto landed and quickly had to dodge aside of Tarosuke wildly firing off Rei-Gun after Rei-Gun, looking mildly pissed. “Okay, little miss ‘I like spamming spells’, I’m gonna teach you a lesson you won’t soon forget!!!!!” After firing one last Rei-Gun, he instantly bent down to his knees and entered a prayer like stance. “Namu… MONMOTARO!!!”
Shantotto instantly found herself being attacked by a ghost with a pure white kimono, a pure white wisp, and long pure white hair, the only thing that WASN’T pure white on this ghost was her peach like skin. “Stay away from Tarosuke!!!” Monmotaro screamed as she showered down ghostly energy balls that felt somewhat similar to a Rei-Gun.
“OH! A Challenge! Should be interesting, I must say!
Let’s hope you last longer then the others, c’mon! Let’s Play!”
Monmotaro yelled in anger as she fired off her ghostly energy blasts.
Shantotto, showing great agility, dodged aside of Monmotaro’s blasts, and was heading straight for Tarosuke, pulling out her rod as she did. “Tarosuke!!! LOOK OUT!!!” Monmotaro yelled in panic, when it became apparent that Shantotto was too fast for her to hit.
Tarosuke opened his eyes…
THUD-THUD-BAT!!!!!
He wasn’t able to move fast enough before Shantotto hit the boy over the head with her rod twice, before, giving a baseball bat like swing, sent him flying off. Since Tarosuke was forced out of his prayer, Monmotaro disappeared after the first hit came.
[Before you guys ask, Monmotaro is Tarosuke’s Guardian Ghost, and thereby bonded with him. It’s not exactly a symbiotic relationship, but Monmotaro’s existence in physical form depends on Tarosuke praying for her to help.]
“Now that was rather pathetic and boring…”
After saying this, Shantotto was instantly aware of a thunder spell forming over head.
“STONE!!!”
Almost immediately, the elemental Sorceress caused a chunk of rock to separate from the floor and fly over head. ZAAAAAAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It took the hit of the lightning spell instead of her. After that was done, she turned to the side, and saw Gantz standing there, glaring at her.
A grin passed Shantotto’s face.
“You however, might not keep me snoring.”
She finished before holding up her Rod, getting ready for a spell.

"OH SHIT!" De'marcus couldn't stop the flying Mr. Orange from hitting the Bound Waddle Dee. However, when the Orange hit, there was only a poof of smoke, and a small straw doll wearing a scrap of blue bandanna lay where Waddle Dee had been. At that moment, four large, yellow stars flew out of nowhere and formed hand- and ankle-cuffs on Shantotto, preventing her from moving.
"I have to thank you for dropping that straw doll before, Shantotto. It made a perfect medium for my Decoy Star," came a voice from above. Standing on a slight outcropping was Waddle Dee. He held his parasol out.
"Take this! Star Parasol Cutter!"
Waddle Dee suddenly jumped down, using his Parasol like Kirby's Final Cutter move. Upon it hitting Shantotto, he yelled' "Decoy Star Frenzy!"
Waddle Dee suddenly attacked with a flurry of swipes that moved so fast, all anyone would see was a blur. When it ended, Waddle Dee was behind Shantotto and standing with his back turned to her.
"You're already dead," Waddle Dee said, and "sheithed" his "blade." There was immediately an explosion where Shantotto was.
"And that right there is why you don't piss off a Kirby character who watches too much anime," De'marcus said.

Double D blinked. "...well, that goes without saying."
Unbelievably, however, it looked like she was still standing, though had difficulty doing so. And the sword was still strapped to her back.
Well, then. Now was the time to take Oni's advice.
He shut his eyes gently, focusing. He slid into invisibility, trying to feel the energy radiating from his core... and keep it in.
With that, he inched behind her his gaze set on that sword.

[The only reason it took me this long to to respond, was because I wasn't sure what to do. For me, normally attacks like the one FF did are saved for the end of the fight, so... Yeah. XD In any cases, we all know that beating Shantotto is not going to be easy, so what happens next should make sense.]
As Double D inched forward, he took the sword...
Only, with a light poof, to find out that said sword was actually a tooth pick, and the Shantotto that Waddle Dee had attacked was yet ANOTHER straw doll.
"Hmm... Impressive attack to be sure...
Had I been in that soup I'd need a cure."
With that another Shantotto appeared from behind the pillar, grinning up a storm... Though at this point it was truely unsure if this was the real Shantotto or just another doll.
"However, I'm afraid to say, that due to that attack, it's become apparent that I can no longer hold back.
I hope you all have had an enjoyable life, because, from this point on there will be no... More... SLACK!"
[For this fight, I found a cool battle theme to mix things up.
At this point, Shantotto(?) seemed to radiate with pure magical power, shattering the gang's earlier perception of her aura if they had read it. Her power level easily jumped from the levels of a normal mage easily into the area of a super-powered mage. Gantz flinched, Oh yeah, he wasn't liking this already.
"FLARE 2!!!!!" Shantotto yelled at the top of her lungs as she jumped up high.
Almost immediately, gigantic fire balls shot out of her rod, zig-zagging all over the place before landing, their original targets quickly, and smartly, getting out of the way. The ensuing explosions sent flying anyone that didn't. "FLOOD!!!!!"
Shantotto obviously wasn't finished yet, however, as she held up her hands, plunged them onto the ground, and then shot them back up as if to uppercut...
Almost immediately, a burst of water blasted out of the ground at Wally's feet, causing the Lightbender to get slammed clean upward. As this happened, the water appeared to fill the room blasting out like a sprinkler getting almost everything wet. Shantotto now had a blood thirsty grin on her face, as her hands crackled with electrical energy. "... TORNADO!!!!!!!!!"
That energy quickly changed into wind energy as she created three tornado's out of the end of her rod, which shot out all over the room.
As Wally healed himself, he looked almost afraid. "Th-This girl is insane!!!!!!!!"
"Be thankful she didn't use an electrical spell!!" came a yell from Gantz, as he cast his own Aero spell to try and cancel out a tornado coming directly at him. "Otherwise she could've killed everyone in this room!!!!" That struck Gantz as odd however... Shantotto was never one to hold back. And she KNEW they had healers on their side.
Misty had finally recovered from her earlier beating, before getting up off the ground. Growling furiously she launched herself at Shantotto fists flailing.
Shantotto saw the attack coming and held up her rod. "QUAKE 2!!!!" Almost immediately, the earth cracked violently and the entire temple shook. Though the cracks drained the water away, this was immediately followed by towers of rock shooting out of the ground, trying to cut off Misty's dash towards her, as well as anyone else that would give it a try. Probably a wise move since Gantz was running towards her along with Misty.

Waddle Dee seemed surprised. De'marcus didn't. Hell, this was what he was waiting for. He jumped in the air, his aura forming several golden icicles.
"Spell Card! Icicle Fall!" De'Marcus yelled. He was well aware of the weaknesses of this attack, particularly a certain bus-sized (there are no buses in Gensokyo) safe spot right in front of the caster. However, he knew Shantotto would try to take advantage of that. And she'd get a De'Marcus Laser to the face for it.
To everyone else, though, De'marcus would be haphazardly shooting danmaku at both friend and foe.
(OOC: This attack makes more sense if you look up Icicle Fall -Easy- on youtube.
As for the bus thing? Cirno's Perfect Math Class. That is all.)

"GAH!!" Soaked to the marrow, Double D barely had time to raise up a force field to block against the barrage of attacks from either side. For good measure, the Quake spell spiked towards him especially, and he was launched into the air, pounding into the ground most painfully.
"...ennggghhh..." he groaned, holding his sore back and looking up JUST in time to see a wayward danmaku thrown his way. "AHH!!!"
Another force field blocked a perhaps fatal strike, though it knocked him back, and he hit the wall one more time before collapsing to the ground again.
"Nngh..." He tried sitting up, but only sparked a hiss of pain. Holding the small of his back in pain, he looked up to see who he had fallen next to. "G...Geh...Gantz..." he wheezed, grabbing his attnetion. A small trail of blood curled down from the corner of his mouth after his mental extertions. "This... isn't working..." A cough. "We... need a different approach."

Gantz nodded at Double D as he kept De'Marcus's danmaku back with a barrier. This one required more magical strain then mental strain, but even so, it was starting to drain his magic reserves. "DE'MARCUS!!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL EVERYONE IN HERE?!?!?!?!?!? GIVE IT A REST YA LUNATIC!!!!!!!”
Otto was having a tough time of it. With injuries from Shantotto's previous attack, he found it difficult to dodge both Shantotto's AND De'Marcus' attacks. The Danmaku were everywhere and Shantotto was taking advantage of everyone's difficulty to inflict more damage with her powerful spells. "LISTEN TO THE KID!!!!!! CAN'T YOU USE AN ATTACK THAT'LL HIT SHANTOTTO ONLY?!?!?!?!?"
As for Shantotto, the Tarutaru woman put her hand to the ground after a few seconds of dodging danmaku's. "QUAKE 3!!!!!!!"
Almost immediately, an almost literal mountain of rock shot out of the ground in front of Shantotto, though one could tell it had a gigantic amount of earth energy, making one theorize that it would be a lot tougher to break then the regular rock. It was unsure what the Danmaku would be able to do with it, but it seemed Shantotto was using it as a gigantic earth shield. There was a few stray danmaku on the other side of the rock wall, but nothing she couldn't handle. Looking down, she noticed the water had fully drained out of the temple due to the cracks at this point. Good, no extra damage. NOW she could get serious.
"BURST 3!!!!!!!!!"
Pointing her rod upward she fired off three explosive looking orbs of electrical energy that cleared the rock wall and made it to the other side. Once they did, the Electrical spells exploded in a fashion similar to C-4 and sent streaks of lightning in every conceivable direction. Hey!
It wasn't like De'Marcus was the only one who knew these high risk moves!
Protecting the downed Double D, Gantz quickly picked out a summon charm from his collection and focused his magic into it. "COME TO US ELDER JUSTICAR!!! IMPART ON US THINE DIVINE HELP!!! RAMUH!!!!!!!"
Almost immediately, a bolt of electricity shot down through the roof of the Temple and landed next to Gantz, instead of dissipating though, it seemed to widen out before it took the form of an old man with a flowing white beard, celtic robes, and a celtic staff that seemed to crackle with electrical energy. His pale white eyes crackled with electricity, looking as if he could deliver upon his foe many an electrical charge. "QUICK!!! ABSORB THE ONCOMING ELECTRICITY!!!!!"
Ramuh did as he was told, being a summon spirit; Immediately, Shantotto's electrical attack, having been shot everywhere was suddenly redirected until it was all absorbed into the Elder Justicar's staff. "Okay, good!!! Now throw it back at Shantotto!!!!" Ramuh complied, holding up his staff and charging his energy…
[glow=yellow,2,300]“JUDGEMENT BOLT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”[/glow]
What happened next was nothing short of astonishing, as Ramuh’s electrical beam was enough to reduce Shantotto’s Quake 3 rock barrier into gravel. Shantotto wasn’t surprised at this turn of events however, and instead, grinned widely.
“A great summon to be sure, young man,
However, beat your summon, I CAN!!!!!!”
Dodging a few Danmaku’s she cast a barrier on herself, and put her hand to the ground. “QUAKE 3-QUAKE 3- QUAKE 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
All of that Earth energy, resulted in gigantic rock mountains blasting out of the ground until it surrounded Ramuh in his entirety. The Summon Spirit likely looked surprised, before Shantotto snapped her fingers.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The rocks blew up with Earth Elemental energy… and at the end of it, Ramuh was nowhere to be found.
From where he stood, Gantz huffed as he continued to hold up his barrier. Wally had joined the party behind the barrier and was healing up Double D. “There mate, you okay?”
Double D was likely too horrified to answer…
Why?
He had noticed that, during the summoning of the Summon Spirit of Lightning, that Gantz’s right hand had suddenly become a pure crystalline shell. It didn’t look like he could move the hand at all, but so far, the transformation appeared to be slow, as the crystallization seemed to stop at his wrist…
But for how long?
“EVERYONE REGROUP!!!!” He looked to Double D, and one could see true fear in his eyes past his sunglasses. “WE NEED A PLAN!!!!”

De'marcus could already see things were getting bad. He didn't need to see Gantz's hand to see that. Considering Shantotto was also making a beginner's mistake and not utilizing that safe spot, De'marcus stopped his barrage.
"Gantz! You're a spellcaster too, dumbass! You and I both know your physical defense sucks ass! And Ms. Bitch's the same way!" De'marcus yelled.
Waddle Dee nodded. "She's small, so if we can get one solid hit on her..."
De'marcus kicked Mr. Orange at Shantotto. "Hey! Come on, you've been ignoring me all fight! Let me in on the fun!"
To everyone else, it was a stupid move. However, there was a reason De'marcus was making such of a target of himself. He was bait.

"W-Well, no kidding, Gantz!!" Double D was close to reentering full panic mode, seeing the destabalizing only progressing ever further. That got him right to his feet, and he staggered slightly in lingering dizziness from the hasty movement. "W-we have to...!"
The angel looked up, gaping at De'Marcus unbelievingly. Just WHAT on earth was he doing!?!
....wait...
"...Tch! Now's our chance!!"
(I give permission to let either of you use him for whatever combo move or finishing blow of whatever when we execute it, because I'm at a loss. Never been that great at massive attacks before, you guys are much better in that department XD)

Shantotto was more then eager to accept De'Marcus' little invitation to a fight, this was more then proven as she batted Misty away with her rod, after the super had managed to finally reach her. As De'Marcus charged forward, Shantotto started charging up magic.
As Misty landed, Gantz quickly used a healing spell on the girl, getting her back up. "That little bi@#$!! Wait'll I get my hands on her!!"
Reappearing, Tarosuke appeared to be in the same boat. "No kidding, I'll kick her ass!!!"
Gantz's mind was racing as he saw De'Marcus and Shantotto's fight begin, the two of them rapidly exchanging blows, Shantotto using her rod, De'Marcus his fists. He knew it wouldn't be easy to sneak up on Shantotto, even with her being busy...
Wait, that's it!
Shantotto was fast... So THEY needed to be faster!
"Everyone, gather around! I got an idea!"
With Shantotto, she was blasting De'Marcus backwards with a Flare spell, but the Hedgehog was back up quickly to continue fighting. Shantotto had to admit, this hedgehog just didn't know when to quit.
Her eyes quickly turned to the others... Only to find them all gone.
"Huh?"
Shantotto was never given the chance to look around before De'Marcus tried to find a fist upside her head.
"I have no time to quarrel with you, you miserable rat,
My students are missing, and they can't give up off the bat!"
De'Marcus didn't appear to rightly care, but of course, who could blame him?
[Part 1 of the plan; Use a Hastega spell on the gang, and have Double D hide them with invisibility.]
Shantotto grunted with agitation as she growled angrily.
"Did you not hear me, you impudent little child?!
You're getting in my way! So step aside, before I get RILED!"
In some unknown corner of the room, Gantz appeared to be holding the others back. "Steady..." He said to the others behind him, who were invisible. "Shantotto has to use magic to really fight, De'Marcus is wearing down her magic reserves even further in this duel." That's right, and pretty soon she wouldn't be able to cast her big magic unless she drank an elixer.
[Part 2 of the plan; decrease Shantotto's magic reserves.]
So far all things were going smoothl-
WHAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
....... Shantotto was hit clean in the face by De'Marcus' foot; the first clean hit on her this entire battle. At first, it looked like it stunned her...
At least before she turned back to De'Marcus one of the Darkest glares possible now on him.
"Oh good... Now you've gone and done it, you... UNSPEAKABLE CAD..."
Before De'Marcus knew what happened, a tornado whipped around him, preventing him from escaping. All without an incantation to boot!
"NOW YOU'VE GONE... AND MADE..!!!"
WHAM!!!!!!!!!! She fired a fire spell to knock De'Marcus off his feet.
"ME..!!!"
This was followed swiftly by an uppercut powered by electrical energy.
[glow=red,2,300]"MAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"[/glow]
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
De'Marcus was blasted backwards, but it seemed Shantotto was far from through. Zooming over to De'Marcus she began laughing shrilly and psychotically. All the while, De'Marcus was scorched by a Flare Spell, Soaked by Flood spell, Zapped by a burst spell, and every other spell in sequence all at once in a SINGLE ATTACK.
"Do not look at me, like that, for taking off the kid gloves, but I had had enough.
So I decided to take this oppurtunity and introduce my greatest attack! Sorry that I 'Played ROUGH'!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The combo was finally ended with one last magical kaboom, which sent De'Marcus flying clean across the temple foyer, and clean through pulpit at the front of the room. Shantotto laughed her trademark laugh as that happened. "Now where are the rest of my students?"
"NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Block off any means she has at escape!!"
Faster then Shantotto could've moved, Misty reappeared and landed a powerful fist at Shantotto's gut. "TRY THAT!!!!!"
As Misty did this, Gantz was quick to zoom over to De'Marcus, a Curaga spell forming. "You guys handle Shantotto and get that sword! I'll heal up De'Marcus!"
[Remember that the Hastega spells make everyone exceedingly faster then before. So you guys can go nuts here. XD]

De'Marcus only chuckled throughout the whole fight. This was working wonderfully. Even when Shantotto began bringing out her more powerful spells, he didn't stop laughing. Even after she hit him hard with Play Rough, he only laughed harder.
"My GOD, you are the weakest boss ever! All my bones are still intact! I mean, really! Now I'm wondering why everyone was having so much trouble with you! I'm getting through this fine on my own!" De'Marcus laughed. Of course, he actually was hurt bad, but it wasn't outwardly showing, and he was gonna use that to his advantage as he goaded Shantotto further.
"So, if this is you with the kid gloves off, then you might as well kept them off to begin with!" De'Marcus said. He stood up again, and popped a muscle in his neck before taking up a battle stance again.
"Now it's my turn. DE'MARCUS LASER!"
He put his paws out like one might a Kamehameha, and suddenly fired a humongous laser of pure golden energy at Shantotto. The backblast from the laser would also knock Gantz away. De'marcus was determined to do this on his own.
Waddle Dee fired several star shaped cuffs at Shantotto, intending to catch her again with them. That would hold her still long enough.

Meanwhile, back in the room Kyle and Yin were in, Kyle hadn't moved from the spot he was still standing in.
You're resisting me more than usual, Kyle. You should have given in by now.
Kyle clenched the incense burner tighter, causing the sharp end to dig into his skin.
Just... give in. Not like you hadn't before.
"...Yin, I'm scared," Kyle said. His voice was shaking. "I... just feel so cold all the time. I think I'm going to die soon. I don't want to die... not like this."
Your body rejects her powers; isn't your shoulder proof of that?
His free hand moved to his very damp shoulder and squeezed it, causing a bit of blood to run between his fingers. He winced.

"Hah!" Double D was... a little overwhelmed by the sudden... haste on his feet. They didn't want to stop moving all of the sudden!
"Ngh...GAH!" How does Eddy manage this!?! Double D tried to swerve to a stop, and only smacked into a pillar.
Well, THAT was embaressing. Double D quickly shook away the stars around his head, trying to FOCUS. What needed to be done here? Oh, yes, of course.
He felt a sense of accomplishment as they finally began landing solid hits on her. This was no double any longer; the real sword was right there on her back!
With reawakened confidence, Double D pushed himself off the ground; this speedy business was easier to manage up in the air. His wings outstretched to sustain his jump, he sailed above Shantotto, being knocked around by the others. When the stars struck her, she leaned forward in pain...
...and the angel snatched up the sword, scabbard and all. Its rope binding it to her back snapped off easily.

[Okay, this has been fun, but it's time to wrap this fight up? Wanna know the funny part? I just read this entire thing with the battle music playing, and I think we can end this at the same time the music video ends! XD Man can I pick em or what?]
Shantotto screamed in an enraged fit, as she tried to break the cuffs. Unfortunately, the attack 'Play Rough' had expended her magical energy reserves, and she didn't have the energy needed to summon a flare spell to break loose.
"You all are very clever! A haste spell can definately be used to turn the tides of battle in one's favor!
However, this battle is far from over, so don't you dare believe I'm through, when, my power, you've yet to savor!!!"
The very instant she said that, Double D zoomed past and grabbed the sword from Shantotto.
.............
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
With renewed vigor, Shantotto suddenly shattered the magic cuffs.
"I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED JUST LIKE THAT!!!
Come here Angel... I wish to CHAT..."
Though it looked like CHAT was the LAST thing Shantotto wanted to do.
ZEEEEEOOOO!!!!! WHAM!!!!!!!!
Tarosuke's Rei-Gun slammed Shantotto aside, just as Misty flew alongside Double D. "Double D!! Hand me the sword!!!" Double D quickly did as such, before Misty zoomed off towards where Gantz was giving De'Marcus a healing spell. "GANTZ!!! CATCH!!!!"
Gantz had just finished when he heard that, and quickly caught the sword and it's scabbard. After healing De'Marcus, the crystallization around his right hand had started to make it's way up his forearm. Apparently draining magic away accelerated the timer. He'd better make this fast.
Quickly he drew the blade...
He was surprised to find what he found. The sword itself was a long sword with a Celtic design. There appeared to be magic runes embedded into the blade. Upon closer inspection, the boy finally discovered just why Yang suggested this sword.
"The Onion Sword..."
In otherwords, one of the most powerful swords in ancient day Ivalice, before the Sequencer was created. This sword was weilded by a legendary knight known as the Onion Knight during the Lion War, whom was a powerful mage knight. Many had believed the sword to be lost...
But here it was. And he was about to contaminate it with another soul... Gah! He didn't have time to think about this! It was now or never! He quickly tapped the sword against his right hand, the closest he could get to touching the hilt with both hands.
"SOUL CALIBUR!!!! PLACE THINE SOUL IN THIS VESSEL!!! OUR DEAL IS DONE!!"
There was a gigantic flash that caused everyone fighting Shantotto to stop and cover their eyes.
[At this, the battle theme stops.]

Yin had not moved from the spot she had been standing, when Kyle pulled out the incense burner, threatening to skewer her. She looked hurt, but the frightened look and what he said more then helped her figure out that Kyle was just scared.
Yang though?
Kyle may have had his eyes set on Yin, but Yang vanished a little after the gang ran after Shantotto... At that moment, a shadow of a nearby pillar suddenly spiked and a jet black hand blasted out of it, grabbing the incense burner. Within a few more seconds, the rest of the body appeared, and Yang was seen, looking quite pissed.
"YOU HAVE A LOT OF GALL-"
"Brother, no!"
Yang stopped when he heard that. The two looked between each other, Yang's grip on the poker solid enough to keep Kyle from yanking it away...
"Let me."

Yang finally let go of the poker, and took a few quick steps back, before Kyle could aim for him. "I hope you know what you're doing sister...." He muttered.
After a moment, Yin slowly closed the distance between herself and Kyle, though she was mindful of the poker. If Kyle tried it, Yin would've easily dodged it, since the spirit used a haste spell on herself just to be safe.
"Kyle..." A motherly smile appeared on her face. "You don't have to be afraid." The smile never wavered as she came closer. "Listen to me Kyle. Let me tell you something very important. I don't care who Oni is, or what he used to do. He's a spirit. So what if he's inhabiting your body? It's YOUR body Kyle."
It was unsure if this would work or not, but hey, the pep-talk was something. "He's still weak, you can beat him yourself easily. All you have to do is have confidence in yourself." Every word was likely surprising Kyle. "Just know that, no matter what happens, I believe in you. And so does the rest of your friends."
It was right there that she stopped. Kyle didn't know about the Haste spell, if anything, looking at the scene, he would believe that Yin had just put herself in mortal danger.

De'Marcus had jumped back once Gantz called for Soul Calibur to place her soul in that particular vessel. He looked over at Waddle Dee and ran past him.
"Cover your eyes, kid! This is gonna be bright!" De'marcus yelled. The flash came just as Waddle Dee covered his eyes.
Finally, it was done. De'Marcus grinned at Gantz before looking over at Shantotto.
"Alright, we got our damn sword, we kicked your ass, now would you mind telling us why the hell you did that?" De'marcus demanded.
Waddle Dee walked over toward Double D. "...I'm getting a bad feeling from the armory."

Kyle's eyes got wider and wider as Yin started walking toward him. He wasn't really hearing what Yin was saying, only focused on the fact that she was putting herself in mortal danger with this. When she finally stopped, she was uncomfortably close to Kyle. She'd probably be able to see the light shadowy tendrils around Kyle's body at this distance.
Suddenly, Kyle moved very quickly, much too quickly for even someone with Haste to dodge, and stabbed into Yin's body with the sharp end of the incense burner. He was very shakily trying to press it in further, but his actions were contrasting with what he was saying.
"Oh god, oh god, I'm sorry... I'm sorry... please..."

Double D let out a heavy sigh of relief. Thank GOODNESS. They were cutting it close for a moment, there.
He faltered slightly at Waddle Dee's words. "Bad feeling from..." Instantly, the angel straightened up. He was feeling it too; a gush of dark energy, energy he remembered feeling from...
"...oh, no!" Double D was off like a shot, taking wing and dashing down the hall for as long as the Haste spell lingered. It wasn't long before he reached the armory...
...and his face paled considerably.
"N...NO!!" he cried. "KYL...!" No. That was not Kyle stabbing the beautiful deity. FAR from it.
Every instinct was telling him to rush in, pull Kyle away from Yin, and use his light to snap the boy out of it, but his feet were rooted to the ground.
Maybe it was because he caught the sight of Yang's expression first...
Ohhhhh, dear...
