Getting to know one another.

[B gal]

The storm that has hit Void city was powerful, as if God was in rage. The wind blew heavily, and the rain was intense.

Edd tried to find a proper place to shelter herself and the two people she met, especially in weather like this. She than noticed a play-gym nearby. It was rubber, with a good rooming capacity.

"Over there," She shouted to her two compatriots.

She than ran towards the play-gym, going inside it.

It was very roomy, solid, and no rain leaked out at the heart of the place. There were plenty of seats/room, sturdy, and best of all, it was clean.

Silently, Edd sat on a nearby chair, drenched to the bone. It was fortunate that her notebook didn't suffer any of the pouring rain's intensive reign.

She took off her hat, and ringed out the water from it. She had a red bandanna underneath her hat, so she won't had to worry for anyone to see what's underneath it.

Merine got in first, with Kyle following in shortly after. The duo settled down near Edd as merine was thankful her bag was waterproof protecting her items.

Kyle took out his dry bandana and started to dry his hair wiht it as Merine just tugged off her soaked jacket, revealing her faded baby blue shirt survived the water.

"Man, the rain's killer..." Merine commented as she then looked at Kyle and Edd.

"I'll agree, and the wind isn't helping one bit." He spoke as a wind whipped right past him sending shivers down his spine

Edd put her semi-damp sock hat back on her head. She felt a little chill from outside, but other than that, there was no indication there was a storm outside other than the faint sounds of rain drops pouring onto the outer layer of their wearabouts, and the occasional thunder and lighting.

"Yeah, it's almost raining hell there," Edd said.

She was never one to curse, but it was the only way she could described the power of the storm properly.

"I won't be surprised if there's anyone else looking for shelter in this weather would come along, if it happened."

She looked outside. She took off her right shoe and pulled off her drenched sock, and decided to unwringed it too.

"It looks like we may be in here for a while. Best to make the most of it by getting to know each other a little better, starting with exchanging stories on how we got here."

[tsifan]

Merine followed on the sock removal as she unwringed it as well. Kyle didn't have to do so since. His clothes was pretty much swimwear itself.

"Well I'm Merine Mostre. I'm from Ecruteak Town. And I live with My Dad you could say, but I got here when I fell down a hole...." Merine responded softly drying her hair a bit.

"I'm Kyle Acue, I think I'm from Johto too... I forget. I live with the rest of Team Aqua. And I got here on a random mission..."He commented as he was checking if his pokeball was undamaged

"I see."

Edd looked on in interest as she took off her other sock and ringed it out, the other one laying down to dry. She listened on to the other two's tale in interest, to see if there was more.

[tsifan]

There was a moment of silence then, but it wasn't unexpected wince the duo were also VERY shy

"U-urm, would you like f-for me to start a small fire to warm up?" Merine then suggested sweatdropping at the silence as Kyle looked a bit surprised from the words start and fire.

"Urm... um." was all Kyle managed to say.... he wasn't brave enough to object

Edd looked down at her long wet t-shirt, and ringed it out the extra water. She looked at Merine.

"I supposed a fire would help us warm and dry us up." Edd said.

She was a bit concerned on the safety regulations, but felt it was best to find some heat. Besides, other than the fact this world was different than her own, it was unlikely that she'll start a fire, with all the damp wood and all.

"When you get the fire started, I'll tell my tale of coming here, since you two already told me yours."

[tsifan]

Merine nodded as she then got a small plastic bag from her own bag and pulled out some sticks. Shortly after she took out a pokeball.

"Come on out Sam! Use Flamethrower!" She then exclaimed as a Large Houndoom appeared and breathed fire at the sticks, eyeing at Kyle causing said boy to look frightened. Shortly enough they did get a fire anyways as Sam turned and sat Next To Merine.

"This is Sam, and don't worry Kyle. I'll make sure he won't attack oyu..." Merine responded lightly petting the Houndoom as Kyle nodded, still keeping a distance from the fire

Edd silently watched as Merine got out a few sticks, and somehow summon a dog out of a tiny ball. Her eyes shrank when she saw the dog lit the sticks on fire.

She shuddered a bit.

"A dog...breathed fire," She whispered.

She than looked at the Houndoom, and petted it after Merine says she promised to make sure he won't attack them. Though a bit nervously, as she never encounter a being like this before.

[tsifan]

Sam took the petting, and then laid down looking and feeling lazy as Merine took out the pokeball and returned him into it.

"He probably felt tired since it's water-based weather..." Merine commented as she put the pokeball back on her belt.

"So... what's your story?" She then asked looking at Edd as Kyle sorta neared the fire staring into the marvel... with somewhat fear and curiosity.

[B gal]

Edd silently watched as the dog got into the ball again after she petted it. She looked on confused as Merry told her about the dog being tired due to water-based weather.

She guessed there was more worlds than just her own after all.

Edd silently gather three long branches, two with ends on it, and a giant pot with a holder on it. She placed her hat, socks, and shoes inside.

Silently, she took off her soaked shirt, leaving only an A-cup size sports bra to covered up her lanky body, which revealed three long blood red scars on the center of her stomach. She ringed out the extra water of the entire shirt before she put it in the pot.

She was a woman of modesty; she gets embarrassed easily when someone sees her piratically naked. However, she needed the extra heat to dry off her clothes, and they're the only three around here, so this was an exception.

She made an old fashion cooking area with the three sticks and pot, said pot hovering three feet over the fireplace.

Afterward, She looked up Merry.

"Oh, my story, of course."

She hugged her knees as she watched the fire.

"It was several days ago. I was getting ready for my travels, leaving a sticky note so my friends and parents won't worry. I want to explore the world after I complete my high school degrees, so I wanted to see if it was worth it first."

"I was than approached by a weird man. I couldn't really see his face. He told weird things, about other worlds, other relems, ... alternate versions of me."

"He offered to take me to the center of it all, to explore this opportunity. I was hesitant, decided to leave this intimating figure, but he said a word that made me stop dead in my tracks, as if he went in my soul or something."

A slight pause.

"He than said that angels come around here often. I not quite sure if god exists or not, but angels always fascinate me. So, I took the mysterious man's offer. That's when he slashed me..."

Edd rubbed her scars subconsciously.

"I felt an intense burning pain, than the next thing I knew, I was waking up in an ally way in Void City, all alone. I decided to looked around where I landed before I participate in any activities."

She sighed after such a winded story.

"And that's why I'm here."

[tsifan]

Kyle turned a bit more pink at the removal at the shirt, but he quickly shook that off seeing what she was doing, Merine just watched this as she looked at Edd listening in.

Both kids were surprised by the wounds, but the tale after it was kinda surprising.

"D-does it still hurt? I have some bandages that could be of use..." Merine then said looking at Edd's wounds softly.

Kyle was about to approach the duo to check, but suddenly sprang backwards when the fire flickered toward him. He was shivering showing an obvious fear in from of Edd that he was scared of the fire.

[B gal]

"N-not really. They're feeling better now. Thanks for the offer, though."

She looked to see Kyle backing away from the fire after a mere flicker. She could tell a fear from his body movements.

"Looks like Kyle over there has a case of Arsonphobia; a fear of fire." She silently quipped.

[tsifan]

"O-okay.... " Merine then responded looking more calm and then looking at Kyle.

"Arsonphobia.. then that's the reason you joined the team?" She then asked looking at Kyle softly as the boy looked at them and closed his eyes a bit.

"N-no....but do you really want to know? I'm not terribly hurt about talking about it anymore.." Kyle replied meekly looking at the fire.

Merine nodded, and the response he awaited was Edd's

Edd looked directly at Kyle.

"Well, it did perked my interest a bit. Do explain."
