Getting to know one another.

Kyle gave a sigh as he leaned against a wall.

"When I was a kid, I had no interests in Team Aqua or Team Magma. I really didn't like either. But my Parents were Team Aqua Scientists, rich too. I wasn't really focused on when it came to taking care of me... so my Marill Mike pretty much did that.... but when I was four I wandered off somewhere a bit far from my house, but I later came back." Kyle then spoke quietly staring into the embers... closing his eyes firmly

Fire.... all I saw was Fire..... my house was burned down, and my parents were killed by the fire..... this was because of Team Magma.... I was forced. I had to join Team Aqua at the time, I probably wouldn't have survived if I hadn't. That's why I'm so scared of flames.." Kyle replied softly as he then took out a pokeball and looked at it softly.

Edd silently listened to the story, and felt a bit of pain inside, but not because of her wounds. It was a bit deeper than that.

She hugged Kyle gently.

"I-I understand how you feel, Kyle," She lightly said.

Kyle was taken aback by the hug, but he slowly just hugged back letting the pokeball roll on the ground into Merine's hand. She then gave Kyle a small hug too before stopping.

"Sorry for the misunderstanding earlier then... maybe there aren't bad people in those teams after all..." Merine replied softly as she then handed Kyle his pokeball back.

Kyle shortly broke the hug taking the pokeball back.

"I-it's okay... I would've done the same really..." Kyle replied with a soft smile looking at the du of Gals

Edd enjoyed the group hug. It was very rare that she enjoyed this much affection, but when she gets it... she'll enjoyed it the best she can.

"I apologized for pushing you back there. I didn't really knew it at the time."

She kept the whole thing about being not really physically strong to herself. She was surprised she could be able to do that. Only in intense moments does she come up anything more than a weakling.

She smiled lightly at the hug.

Kyle looked out to the outside as he watched the water and then spoke.

"Oh don't worry about it, and the rain's starting to loosen up, it won't be long till it stops." He then commented as he looked back at the duo and put his pokeball back.

"Well that's good, hopefully sun will show." Merine then said as she looked outside too.

"It looks that way, and maybe when sun shines could we....." Kyle then asked.

"We What?" Merine commented curiously.

"We have a Pokemon battle?" Kyle then finished off looking at the duo.

"Erm... I guess." Merine finished off looking at Kyle.

Edd noticed the faint sounds getting softer. The storm was calming down.

"I think faith has brought these lonely misfits in this world." She said in wonder.

She listened to the two talked about a pokemon battle. So that's what they called these creatures in their world.

She decided to learn more about them.

"I'll helped judge it, once I figure out the rules to a pocket monster battle."

Merine then went into her bag and started to dig through the large content of it.

"ERm... where is it... umm.. ah ha!" MErine exclaimed pulling out a fairly big book. Not too big however.

"My dad's a worry freak. So he doesn't let me go anywhere without a book about it. Here you go~!" MErine said handing Edd the book. KYle was blinking a bit as he watched the rain soon drop to a cease.

"Rain's down." KYle stated softly as he then turned to Edd.

"Erm, best take your clothes Edd. I'm gonna have my MArill splash the fire out soon." Kyle then spoke taking out a pokeball

Edd looked on a bit, then looked in shock at the book she was given.

"Thank you," She said.

Her face went bright red when she heard that the rain stopped. She than realized the only thing that was covering her lower body was a sports bra and her shorts.

"Y-yeah, I think it's best," She said embarssenly.

She took the pot that kept her clothes, and put on her t-shirt first. It felt dryer warm on her semi-cold body.

Kyle then hit the button on his pokeball.

"Go! Mike! Use Water Gun1" He then said loudly as a Little Marill popped out of the laser and shortly pointed at the fire.

"Marill!" He then exclaimed as he then put out the fire... and hsorlty after that sprayed KYle.

"Erm... return..." He then finished off his head soaking wet as he returned Mike to the POkeball.

"Ouch, you okay?" MErine then asked as she got out from under the structure.

"Yeah, Mike's not that obedient. I don't mind though." Kyle then replied as he got out too.

Edd stared at the pocket monster put out of the fire as she put on her socks, and sweat-dropped when it squirt at its master.

Guess there may be a landslide in victory for Merry.

As she put on her shoes, she opened the book, starting her research on the rules.

"Ahhhh, sunlight. Good ol thing." Merine exclaiemd stretching a bit as she gave a yawn and turned to the other two and gave a smile.

"Yeah, I"ll agree. It is a good thing at these times!" Kyle repleid wiht a cheerful smile as he strethc a bit ihimself letting his wet clothes collect light as he looked back at Merine. And then Edd.

"I'll have a battle iwht Merine whenver you finish that book Edd. Take you time." Kyle said with a kind smile

Edd smiled at the sunlight as she put on her sock hat. She picked up her book, opened up her notebook to a clean page, and took out the pencil from her right ear.

"Thank you. Don't worry, it'll only take a while."

[tsifan]

"alright" Kyle repleid as he then turned to Merine and chattered a bit. ALthough on Merine's end she was still rather quiet.

They were walking toward the exit of the Park as they bot hsuddnely turned and looked at Edd.

"By the way, where are you going?" They both asked in unison.

Edd looked up at them.

"Before the storm," Edd asked.

She fiddled with her notebook, nervously.

"Sure, we kinda thought we'd like to know where you're heading." Kyle then spoke as Merine blinked
