Yami's twitched and turned to look at the teen. He scowled when he realized the teen was dead serious. However, the darkness in the area surged and Yami quickly whirled back around.
"WHO DARES INVADE MY DOMAIN?"
The voice echoed through the halls, and lets say it made Yami's angry voice sound like it came from the world's cutest puppy dog. Yami quickly ran over to Josah. He wanted to clamp his hand over the teen's mouth before he said something stupid.

"HI, MY NAME IS JOSAH, AND THIS-" Yami, however, had managed to clamp his hand over Josah's mouth before he said anything else. So yeah.
He mumbled something out, that through direct translation was 'I was just trying to be civil. Jeez.' Unfortunately for both, Josah didn't yet have the 'Spell of Intelligence'.

Yami was a touch too slow. He glared at Josah, "You will be polite or you will die. And not by my hand," before turning towards one of the halls, "We didn't know this was your castle. If you would allow us to leave, we'll be on our way."
The "invisible" aura of darkness swirled. Yami realized it was inviting them forward, and glared again. He looked at Josah, "If you want to survive, you will also keep your mouth shut. Do not speak unless spoken to. We're dealing with demonic nobility here, I can tell you that right now."

"Right. Got it. Not dealing with the Artist Formerly Known As Prince, here." Josah mumbled in response.
He slightly noticed the shift in aura. Then again, his powers were so suppressed, it felt more like it was more 'pulling' instead of 'inviting'.
...wait, WAS there a difference?

A chuckling could be heard emanating from some part of the castle. Honestly it seemed to come from all directions, "Why would I simply let you go. I know one of you has demonic blood. It is rude to come by without paying respects to the master of the house. Come, now, let us speak in person..."
Yami felt the darkness tug at him, and found himself taking several steps foward with glazed over eyes before snapping out of it and shaking his head. He turned to Josah and than back to one of the passages. He needed to play his cards carefully. As it was, he was convinced they'd both be killed if they turned down the request. His aura flared again and he made the choice to step foward.
The darkness pulled even stronger at Josah, and with Yami going it was probably in the teens best interest to follow. If he wasn't already being forced to go against his well thanks to the dark suggestions, that is.

He'd managed to avoid being pulled in against his will by the dark suggestions. If only because he was willingly following the half-demon. This... this feeling... this... tugging. It was making him uncomfortable. Yami's flared energy eased his nerves a bit, actually. But this... whatever, that was beckoning the two... it made his blood run cold, made his heart stop. Sent shivers up his spine. He shook it off as having a bad taco earlier.

It was no problem walking through the castle with the directions the energy was given. However, the castle was very large, and it meant it took five minutes of walking for the pair to reach what had to be the throne room. The doors were thrown open, but it appeared they could provide quite the defense if the need arose.
The aura emanating from the tall man sitting on the decripit throne made it clear it was he who had talked to them. Man being used in the loosest possible term. His skin was the color of platinum and his eyes looked to be pure fool's gold. The dark smile he grined as they approached didn't reach the eyes. He appeared mildly bored, what looked to be part of his robe swirled around his arms, one of which he had his head rested in. He stood up, the robe moving as naturally as it could for how it formed.
Yami took a tense aggressive posture in an attempt to communicate he would not die without a fight. The demon known as Belphegor strode down from the throne and began approaching Yami and Josah.
"I must admit I am mildy surprised one with demonic blood would be stupid enough to come here. If you tell me you are a challenger, I will simply laugh," the dark grin remained, and he had closed half the distance between himself and the two "visitors".

He had to admit, the demon was rather awe-inspiring. Awe inspiring as in 'holy CRAP this might have been a bad idea'. But there was no time for nay saying, at this point. Powerful aura was powerful, and all that.
He chose not to speak, remembering what Yamiyo had said earlier, keeping his hands wedged in his back pockets. If the need arose, he wanted to be able to pull his book out. He hoped, however, that the need would not arise.
Besides, this guy looked like he at the very least would have plenty of clothes lying around...

Yami got even tenser. He was conflicted between taking his true form and treading the safe route. Belphegor was almost to Yami now, "As I said before, we didn't know this area was inhabited. We mean no trespass."
Belphegor stopped and seemed to be looking through Yami as he stared into his eyes. Several tense moments passed and he nodded, "I'll choose to believe you for now. But both of you, tell me this. What are your names?"
"Why should that matter?"
Belphegor smirked and turned towards Yamiyo. He glared for a moment and the demon's already intense aura flared and it appeared that Yami had spontaneously combusted. The fire burned for five seconds, Yami gritting his teeth to avoid screaming as he collapsed to the ground. Belphegor had a sadistic grin on his face as he spoke again, this time sounding like the cliche demons of hollywood. A dark, demonic, reverberating voice.
"Because you are at my mercy, fool."

At first, he didn't exactly want to speak up. Then Yamiyo was set ablaze for five, tense seconds. And then it ended.
"...my name is Josah. Josah Hasoj." Josah responded hesitantly. This... this was true terror. Terror in the face of adversity.

Yamiyo was now... well, nude. The attack had burned what was left of his jeans. His face was contorted in pain and blood dripped from his mouth from where he had clamped down on his tongue to avoid screaming. If Josah wasn't too terrified to pay attention, he'd realize Yami's blood was darker than it should have been. At least he knew he wasn't a full human.
"Hankou... Yamiyo..." Yami stated, having to fight to get the words out in his pain.
Belphegor nodded, seemingly satisfied with the response, "Then you are of no concern to me. However..." he walked towards the decrepit throne and snatched up a blood red tapestry with golden tassels he had been using as a cover. He threw it towards Yami, and despite being across the room it landed on the half-demon, "Cover yourself."
He paused for a moment and turned to Josah. He began approaching the boy. His expression wasn't as dark before, and it was quite possible he was... interested in something?

Needless to say, the demon's sudden interest had him bloody terrified. He continued staring forward, taking on an almost soldier-ish stance. The correct term, I believe, is a near-salute. Maybe. ANYWAY.
He continued to take Yami's advice of not speaking, staring forward, a bead of sweat falling down his right cheek. Inside of him something stirred. His latent powers, really. Couldn't access him, but it was almost too obvious that they were there.

Belphegor noticed Josah's tension and he calmed his aura down a bit. By a bit I mean rather than seeming like a walking incarnation of doom he was slightly stronger than Yami when he was pissed. Belphegor pointed towards the boy's pants, "There is something in there you are having trouble with, correct?"
Which probably tripped poor Josah's mind. The demon had just implied he was willing to offer help. Yami had recovered some by this time and looked up. If the demon was doing what he thought, Josah's temperance was about to be tested. He would be an idiot to accept the forthcoming offer. He shakily pushed himself to his feet, collapsing to one knee seconds after getting to his feet.
Steady, Yami. There's enough dark energy here to last you a century, after all, he told himself as he got to his feet again, wrapping the tapestry around himself like a makeshift cloak.

His mind was definitely tripping, that was certain. However, he had his wits about him enough to realize that the demon was talking about his hands resting in his back pockets. Right. He'd just been spoken to. He was allowed to respond, now.
"No, no, that's fine. I can handle all problems in my pants myself." Josah responded sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. This could either go very well, or he was about to find out how magic arrows worked.

Belphegor chuckled, clearly not believing the boy's words, "Very well, then it is time for you to both leave my sight. I have no time to mess with weaklings such as yourself," he turned away from the group, but he was well aware of their locations and actions.
He took a moment to stop and sneer at Yami, "You I very well might see again," he made a point of stepping on Yami's foot as he walked past. The half-demon clenched his teeth and turned away. No matter how much he wanted to deny it, he was completely outclassed.
"Josah, we're going," he said, holding the tapestry around himself as he walked off. Which was pretty surprising in its own right. After basically getting burned alive he was walking merely like he'd overexerted himself. The bloodflow from his mouth had stopped as well.
He made no attempt to see if Josah was following him. If the boy wanted to stick around and get eaten, that was his choice. Nor did he even care that the drawbridge was up. He wanted out of that room. Whatever world he had fallen to had its guardians, and this one was the type that made him wonder why they bothered with crossbreeding for taking over the human world.
