Aya quirked her head slightly. "Hm? Wedding?"
Shining Armor nodded. He then turned back to Twilight. "Cadence and I have been doing great." He smiled happily. "We love spending time together... it's wonderful."
Aya said to Twilight, "Care to fill me in?"

Upon remembering Aya was still there without a clue as to what she was talking about, Twilight quickly face-hoofed once more. "Oh right! Sorry Aya." She took a second to clear her throat...
"You see, about three weeks ago, while me and my friends were still in Equestria, we received invitations for a wedding between my older brother, Shining Armor here, and Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, or Cadence as I knew her. You see, my brother and Cadence got to know each other because she was my foal sitter. She's a very kind, caring and gentle pony who has a special power to literally spread love wherever she goes. As such, even as a foal I grew really attached to her. So when I learned she was marrying my brother I was reasonably excited." She looked at her brother with a blush. "Okay, granted I didn't feel that way at first, since I didn't recognize Cadence's full name, but when Shining told me who Cadenza was I became excited.
"I already looked at Cadence as something of sister anyways. She really was special, her and my brother both." She sighed. "A few things happened during the wedding, but eventually my brother and Cadence were wed. It was a happy occasion overall, and I'm glad I could have been there to see it."

"It was a Western-style wedding, right? I hear those are like a huge party. Weddings are fairly uncommon in Gensokyo; those that do happen are more subdued Eastern-style weddings. Hm... spreading love, eh? Marisa does that, too." She laughed. "Only, I think this Cadence does it in quite a different way than Marisa does."
Shining Armor's eyes were still closed and he was smiling, thinking about his beloved. He spoke softly. "She sends her regards, too, Twily."

Twilight looked to Aya with a raised eyebrow, not really sure what to make of her commentary. "Well... I guess in that case, yes, it was a Western-style wedding. Princess Celestia even asked Pinkie Pie to plan the reception... Heck, Celestia had all of my friends, me included, play a role in the wedding. I suppose she thought it was only fitting since it was my older brother that was getting married."
With that said, she couldn't help but smile at Shining's statement, which came not long after hers, letting her know that Cadence had sent her regards to Twilight with her husband. She looked a little giddy actually. "Well, you just let her know that I'm flattered by that. Also, let her know I said hi when you see her again." She looked pleased as punch about all of this.

"...Oh, that's right, you haven't seen what Marisa can do, can you?" She held up a picture to Twilight of a battle-drunk Marisa firing her huge laser. "Love Sign: Master Spark. Marisa's signature Spellcard."
Shining Armor shook his head slightly. "I will be sure to tell her." He began looking through the book at the Shell and Protect spells.

She looked at the picture with wide eyes... "Wow... Love created that??" She looked rather ASTONISHED that that was the case. "How is THAT possible?"

Aya smirked. "Part of it is just Marisa's little joke; she has another Love Sign spell card called 'Non-Directional Laser'. Both of those cards are her variations on someone else's Spellcards. Most people say it's because she loves to go crazy with her magic."
Shining Armor's eyes widened at the picture. "...Whoa..."

Before anyone could say anything more, a familiar small reptilian boy with purple and green scales slid into the room. While Spike usually stayed at the house (typically doing things like occasional chores, playing games, chatting with pony and non-pony friends alike, or fawning over Rarity), he occasionally left the house when he felt he had reason. He was careful, of course! He knew very well the island was much more dangerous than Equestria; a certain random attack by a highly dangerous psycho clown tipped him off on the bat.
He quickly arrived in the library at the mall. Why was the library in the mall of all places, he didn't know, but that's beside the point. Just as quickly as he arrived, he spotted Aya and his old friend/sister-like figure, Twilight Sparkle.
"Have either of you seen Michael?" he asked. "I haven't seen him since he..." At that point, he finally noticed the stallion that had joined them.
"Oh, hey, Shinin'! Long time no see," said the dragon with a grin raising a fist for a brofist/hoof. Given their respective relationships to Twilight, Spike tended to view Shining Armor as a kind of big brother figure to him as well.

.................. "Uh... Wow.... I... Never would've gue-" She was ABOUT to finish that sentence, as flabbergasted as she was when it began, when that ever familiar little scaled face appeared. Making a note to ask Patchouli about her magic later when she saw her, Twilight looked to Spike with a smile. "Oh! Spike! What are you doing-" The fact that Spike was right there next to her quickly sunk in. "H-here..."
Her gaze narrowed. "No really Spike what ARE you doing here? I thought I told you not to leave the cabin unless you was accompanied by someone." She wasn't really too mad; just concerned. And really? She had good reason to.

Shining Armor bumped Spike's fist with his hoof, smiling slightly. "It's been a while; good to see you're alright."
Aya responded, "Haven't seen him, sorry."

Spike rolled his eyes. Honestly, she worried too much sometimes. "C'mon, Twi... I'm careful; I can move unnoticed if I need to," he insisted. "Besides..." he frowned, "Mike's been gone for a few days already, and I'm kinda worried."
With an awkward grin, he pulled out a handheld game console and added sheepishly, "...aaand I can't seem to get his DS to charge anymore..."

There was a subtle rolling of the eyes as Twilight took in that somewhat immature reasoning. She understood him worrying a out Michael she supposed; but she hadn't met this Michael herself. He had been gone since she had arrived with the group. She wasn't even sure what to make of his little handheld system either, but she had seen it around a few times. She even watched Spike play it herself not too long ago. "We're all concerned Spike, I can assure you of that. But wandering around the island isn't safe. We need to stick together for our own sakes." Taking a moment she nuzzled the baby dragon reassuringly. "Besides, Michael is really strong. I doubt anyone is going to give him TOO much trouble."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile outside the library....
She had no idea how she had got here in this ever confusing place. She remembered flying about the now flying plains of the Valley of Avalar with her mate, taking in the sights, relishing in their victory and their new freedom from their harsh destinies... And perhaps the most important of these, relish in the love they had found in each other.
However, within the span if three seconds, all of that was taken from the two when a mysterious portal appeared and sucked the two in...
And now here Cinder was walking along inside this big building, regarding everything with both awe and confusion. This place was certainly a farcry from the city of Warfang. "What... what is this place?" She muttered, taking everything in... a moment more and the black dragon lowered her head, trying to figure out a few things...
"I'd better find Spyro..."

Aya said, "Sure you haven't just overloaded the charger? I don't think the issue's with that thing itself... Mike'll probably send it to another friend of our so she can mess with it."
Shining Armor said, "That Michael guy was the one who sent the letter to Princess Celestia, yeah? ...What I want to ask him is how he got... k-killed... and was able to come back..." He seemed to get really uneasy at the k-word.

Spike shivered as horrific memories resurfaced. "I thought Discord was bad, but Kefka... Saying he was a nightmare's an understatement..." He shook his head, trying to nudge the bad thoughts aside. "Well... I guess we were lucky no one else got hurt..." he said, trying to add a little optimism, and then adding on the side, "...plus that the house can magically heal itself..."
The young dragon then explained, "Michael said he can basically 'sync' with other people. He told me he doesn't entirely understand how it works, but it allows him to kinda borrow power from anyone he syncs with. When Kefka attacked him, he synced with a woman that came who had phoenix powers, and he was able to revive himself..."
Though he wasn't being that obvious, one that's good enough at reading the tone of voices might be able to detect a slight tint of admiration for all the human Michael was capable of.

Judging by her expression, it looked like Twilight easily caught the tone of admiration. Though she did little more on that mark other then roll her eyes with a somewhat amused smile on face. "Yeah, Michael is something else alright..." Taking a moment to think to herself Twilight rubbed her 'chin' with her hoof. "I have actually tried myself to figure out how Michael's powers worked. After all an ability like that could be useful." She shrugged after a moment. "So far I've found no leads on that, but I thanks to my research, I've started to delve into the study of other powers such as Patchouli and the others. It's all very interesting stuff." Her eyes were somewhat starry as she explained this.
--------------------------------------------------------
As this discussion continued, none of the current members of the little reunion seemed aware of the young black dragon walking past the library, scratching her hind legs anxiously. The more she looked around, the more unsure she was starting to look. "Come on..." She sniffed at the open air, as if trying to find a scent of some sort... "Where are you?"
As she continued looking, she became aware of an odd sight...
A purple dragon?
Sitting in the middle of the nearby library??
Needless to say was interested at this... Purple Dragons didn't just appear out of nowhere. They were rare; incredibly so in fact. It didn't really help that Purple Dragons were considered literal avatars if the elements either.
