After getting directions to this town by that one magic caster chick from the cottage in the woods (What was her name again? Yuriko? Patchy? Something?), you had opened up another void portal and teleported yourself along with your good friend the Mage of Space here. Lofty Ridge so it was called, you rather liked the name, it sounded a little grand but not too much so. It was even a homely place too, not that bad at all.
You smiled a bit as you take in the sights. "Haha, not a bad place overall, I'd say."
==> Change clothes
Deciding you want to blend into your surroundings a bit more, you change out of your god-tier robes and change into your 'Noel Kriess' ALT costume, you figure that would blend in better here. "Okay, so... That... Patchy person? What was her name?" You shrug. "Well whatever, she said they should be at a Library somewhere in town. Let's ask around."

Be? You have been. This day's only gotten better and better; you met a few characters from one of your favorite game series and are about to meet some ponies who you liked a lot. "Patchouli, Aaron. Gaaahh~ She's from a video game series I love and this is only gonna get better from here... and it's kinda nice out here... if a little chilly. On that note...

You switch from your God-Tier robes as well, changing into your brown shirt and a pair of jeans... though you do put on your Rainbow Dash hoodie because, as you said, it was a little chilly. "Yeah, let's look; it can't be too far."
You begin walking around, looking for the library.

You happily do as such as you two walk. There's so many interesting things to do and see. The people walking around seemed quite interesting. You are sure quite a few of them looked familiar, and a few of them probably were. Whichever the case was, you found this island more interesting with each passing second.

(Aaron and Pieter continue walking down the way noticing the wide variety of people moving about.)

(They round a corner and find a district with some restaurants. It appears the people there are cleaning up, like a festival had taken place previously.)

"Huh... I dunno. They're cleaning stuff up but take a look at that." You point at a building nearby that appeared to have taken some damage. "See that?"

Well this was strange. Ah well. There's some more buildings nearby... you wonder if one of those is the Library.

Uh... Whoa.... The building looked halfway totaled... What happened there? It looked like there was a struggle of some kind there... Maybe you should investigate at some point. "Man, I wonder what happened here... Looks like a heck of a fight went on around these parts..."

(Aaron notices some burnt confetti on the ground as some people sweep it up...... Weird.)

You do so, thinking about your reunion with your alternate universe friends on this place you used to think was fictional. You still couldn't believe it but here you were... and now that you think about it, the place's energy signature feels very... familiar...
Enough about that, though. You continue walking. "How hard could it be to find one library...?"

Quicker then you can regain your second wind, you suddenly hear a quick flurry of words you can barely make sense of. When at last you regain your senses you finally recognize what the voice on the other end of the tunnel is saying.
"Tao is sorry! Tao didn't mean to run over pink-purple guy meow!! Are you okay??? Please be okay, Tao doesn't want to get into trouble meow!"

(While on the ground, Aaron's eyes widened to disbelieving levels.)

You do with much gusto, probably surprising the girl and knocking her off. "Ouch... That hurt meow...." When you turn to look at the girl, you find EXACTLY who you thought you'd find.
==> Get excited HOPY SHIT
You couldn't help but put on a big ole smile at Taokaka, perhaps one of your absolute favorite characters, hands freaking down. "Oh! You're okay! Hi! Sorry about running into you meow! Tao was just following her nose to some food!"

(Aaron still has that smile even as Tao looked all starry eyed with a small bit of droll trailing out of her mouth.)
"Fooooooood... Meow, Tao could use some good food right neow!"

(Tao appears to notice that Aaron was still smiling.)

You know you really shouldn't feel this way because you know you'd do the same to things you really liked but really now. That last bit kinda pushed it too far.

Taokaka appeared to take in the interruptions with half of her attention, smiling a bit when she heard the names. "Oh me? Tao is Taokaka mew!" She giggled as she got up, Aaron following her. "Hmmm.... Tao likes your name.... But I think Tao will call you Pie guy!"

(Aaron cracks a smile and hold in a giggle at this.)

Tao looks you over discerningly, trying to find some kind of big detail about your person that could help distinguish you from the rest of the general populace.... As you stand there you wonder what you'd want her to call you... All things considered your current get-up probably isn't giving her much to go on.
"Mmmmmm... Tao doesn't know..." After a second, she shrugs and giggles. "I think Tao will call you Pinkie-person until Tao gets a better idea meow!"

Well, this was interesting, but not unexpected. You did know a little about BlazBlue, anyway. Enough to know who this was and how she ticked... which gave you an idea.
"Funny you should call me that, Taokaka. Watch this~"
==> Dazzle the little girl.
Calling upon your Space powers, you make distortions around your hands... before reaching into a portal, and... tada! You pull a hot apple pie out of the gap (and can faintly hear an anguished 'MY PIE!' from the other side, though the voice didn't click at the time) and give it to the girl. "Ta-da~! Here you are~!" You grin. As said before, sometimes you really love being the Mage of Space.

Tao finished eating the pie in record time, smiling as she looked at Pieter with a big wide smile that was outlined with pie filling. "WOOOOOW!!! THAT WAS SO AWESOME MEOW!" She licks up the pie and jumps up and down. "Thanks for the Pie, Pie Guy! Hey can you do that again, please please pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaaaaaaaaaase, meow???"

"Allow me Tao, I know how to do that too." Deciding that Pieter showing off had indeed impressed the girl, you decide to show off a bit too. Maybe you couldn't provide a pie.... BUT
You pull out your Void Modus which appears as a black bubble before Tao, causing the girl to jump up in surprise and look at it curiously. Perhaps she looked a little frightened but you knew Tao could handle creepy. After a moment an item appeared in the button which you float to Tao with a showy wave of your hand.
The item you had picked out had been a cake that your mom had baked for you before she vanished. And since there was no air in his void pocket, it was vaccuum sealed. As such, when it came out, it was still fluffy and fresh.
Tao took the cake, her eyes going starry.
"How... HOW DID YOU DO THAT MEOW?!"

(Aaron just holds up a finger to his mouth shushing.)
"A magician never reveals his secrets." You note her look at the cake. "You have nothing to worry about, it's perfectly safe to eat. Had a piece myself last night."
That appeared to be all the inspiration Tao needed, she dug in instantly.

When at last she does, you take the empty pan once Tao has pretty much eaten every scrap of cake left and licked the pan clean. "MMMMMMM!!! That was GREAT! Tao looooves Cake meow!!" She watches as you put the pan back into your modus. "Pinkie guy?" You look to her quickly. "That's kinda scary meow.... What is it?"
... You hadn't really thought she would try being inquisitive...

"To be honest Tao, trying to tell you that could take a while, and to be honest, I'm not sure you'd understand it anyway." You look to her to see that she's giving you a curious stare. "All you need to know is that it's my power. It's dark, and I guess it looks scary... But in essence it's a part of me, it's like my shadow." You look down. "I understand if your scared of me..."

You feel a nudge.
"Huh?"
When you look down, you find Tao leaning on you, purring as she rubs her cheek against your sleeve. "Nah, don't sweat it, Shadow guy. You gave Tao cake! You can't be all bad meow!"

Wait... What was that ruckus coming from a few buildings over?

"OKAY! This book should certainly do the trick!" Twilight appeared quite excited as she magicked that and a few more books over to the table where she and her brother Shining Armor had been sitting at.
Ever since she had been reunited with her brother, Twilight had been filled with ideas about things they could study together. You would have a lot of energy too if you had a sibling as eager to learn as you. "The Barrier spells are all in these books here BBBFF!" She said energetically as she magicked a book or two over to him, while she had a plentiful number left for herself.

Pieter: Be the source of the ruckus.
You had heard the voice, and doing so almost immediately caused you to fanboy freakout. You raced over and gave a squee of delight upon seeing Twilight, not having noticed Shining Armor. You gave Twilight a huge hug, making her drop a few of the books... and then when her big brother yelped, horn flaring up at the sudden 'assault' on his little sister, you almost immediately gave the same reaction, only more excited, and hugged the white unicorn in a big bear hug. Shining Armor was too startled by the sudden hug to do anything but look down at the human hugging him in perplexion.
"U-Um... w-who are you...?"
You were too deep into your fanboyism to reply to him, however. One of your favorite stallions right there? How could you not act that way?
Your magic aura made the white stallion shudder lightly, however. The power was... quite potent.

Twilight looked a little too bewildered by what had just happened to realize what was going on for those first few seconds... When she finally did regain her senses, she looked at the man, realizing what she saw on the front of his shirt, before he glomped her, and shortly before he pulled Shining Armor into a hug.
And speaking of which.
"Uh... Excuse me... Sir?" Twilight looked confused as all hell as she spoke, trying to figure out how to word this. "Um... Can you stop... Uh... Hugging my brother? Your... Uh... R-really strong and... Well... That might be hurting him?" While this came out as more a question then a statement, she at least made herself clear...
