"OOF!!!!" When you rejoin everyone in the grips of reality, you realize what Pieter is telling Twilight, and suddenly a sickening and guilty horror appeared in your stomache. You already had a good feeling that Twilight's memories with Exdeath were not a good one... And hearing that dreaded comparison was more then Alex could bear.
Even if Pieter defended Aaron's honor saying you were a better person then Exdeath could ever be, the comparison was still up in the air.

Twilight's expression was little more then horrified as she eyed Aaron carefully. Never once had he ever given her any sort of hint to his true nature. He could have attacked them at any point in time that he wanted. She eyed him carefully and fearfully... Pieter's words came as a comfort yes, and Aaron's behavior never once suggested evil...
But still there was that lingering doubt...
"I... I don't know..." She said fearfully, looking down. "I mean... S-so much happened thanks to Exdeath... I might need some time to absorb this..."
That was the phrase you DID NOT want to hear out of Twilight...

As you look down, you feel a pit of hopelessness crawl over you...
You should have known you would not be safe on this island... Especially not from HIM.
"Well well, this has been quite the interesting little show now hasn't it?"

That... That voice-!!!!
==> Whip back to Twilight.
You look... And you find an odd power encircling her... The voice seemed to come DIRECTLY from her MOUTH. She looked horrified herself, recognizing the voice.
"D-DISCOR-"
"Yes thank you Twilight, I think our two young fanboys get that." You could almost FEEL that smug grin in his tone.

You seem to hop into action, your hands clenching into fists, your feet shifting into a fighting stance, a shoulder-length apart, your TKDkind activating. "Well well well... this is interesting... aren't you supposed to be decorating Canterlot's garden or something, Discord? Are you going to show your face or what?"

Shining suddenly shot to his hooves, looking at Twilight. "Twiley? What's going on?!" He was worried, and he really couldn't be blamed. He'd heard the stories. He knew what happened...

You watch in apparent horror as Twilight lifts off of the ground. "Now that seems quite presumptuous of you young man. I find it quite adorable that you think I can be held in one place for long. I'm a being of chaos, m'boy, I think I can do whatever I want."
Twilight's eyes glowed brighter before the pony was tossed like a ragdoll to the ground. The unicorn was unconscious... And floating over her?
==> Discord; Celebrate being free!
(Discord is seen stretching and yawning, though his yawning sounded like a loud yell at first.)
You would happily very happily do that, but first, you have been stuck inside that unicorn and that stone for such a long time, that you simply HAD to get back in shape. You've been stiff for quite a while after all.
==> Discord; Streeeeetch!
(Discord can be seen doing a few stretches.)
OOOOOH That felt good... "So you're that Mage of Space fellow I've heard so much about? I must admit, for a literal god in human form, you don't really appear as such."
(In the middle of his stretches, he snaps his fingers.)

(POOF!!! A few of the books suddenly turn into milkshakes.)
"You nor the Thief of Void as a matter of fact." You couldn't help but grin.
"H-how are you here? Like Pieter said, you should be inside a statue right now!" You just LOVED how troubled and lost the young man made himself look. It was like he was BEGGING to be hypnotized... But ah, you wouldn't do that. He was likely messed up in the head enough.
"Quite simple really. You see, as you have likely seen from my appearance, I have the power to do just about anything I want."

(He snaps his fingers, causing the charging Shining and Tao to slip and slide across the floor, which was now soap.)
You continue on, once you were sure Twilight's brother and the cat were preoccupied. "For instance. I could be here."
(POOF! He vanishes.)
==> Reappear
(Discord appears replacing a chair.)
"I could be here."
(He vanishes.)
==> Reappear X2
(Discord reappears, his form appearing as a collection of books before returning to normal... Only, now a second Discord had joined the first one.)
"Hoof I can be in as many places as I want!"

(He leans down and looks at Pieter and Aaron with a condescending upset frown.)
"Frankly I'm surprised you haven't figured it out already. After all, you are the beings that created the world we come from. So you are quite genre savvy." With a buddy-buddy smile, your clone twirls around Aaron and Pieter, giving them noogies.
"Aren't you just smart and cute little things? Oh yes you are!"
As this happened you walked over to Twilight, smiling. "In anycases, it was quite easy to manipulate events to where, even if I DID lose to the Elements of Harmony I was WELL out of harms way."
==> Aaron; Realize.
You do so with much horror.
"The Lesson Zero episode...." You look more horrified with each passing second now. "That wasn't Twilight's fault wasn't it?! Or at least not directly. You put a piece of yourself in Twilight and pushed all of the right buttons to make her go crazy. YOUR the reason Twilight nearly lost her goddamn mind!"
==> Discord; DING DING DING
(At that moment, there are some popping sounds as confetti falls down on the two, the Discord clone backing off and turning into a sound mixer to imitate an audience applauding.)
You chuckle at the boy's cleverness, looks like he deserved to be called a magic geek. "Ting ting ting! We have a winner ladies and gentlemen! Give the young man a prize for being SOOO clever." You pin a blue medal on the Thief's chest just to complete the image.

Of course. Chaos was just an innate force of the universe. Harmony could not contain it like Celestia attempted; after all, the two were meant to be in balance. You understand that; after all, you know the universe.
"I had a feeling, but I decided to let myself be optimistic for once. Though... I might have to let Celestia know that the Elements are kind of a bust for attempting to contain a force of the universe."

Ow... Ow! OW! That actually kind of hurt. You swung your elbow at the Discord clone's stomach, but he'd already vanished.
You looked over, seeing Shining face planted on the ground due to the soap. Things are looking just a little grim...

Shining spat a few soap bubbles out of his mouth as he attempted to regain his ground, glaring at the spirit of Chaos and Disharmony. "How dare you do that to my sister?!" His eyes seemed to flare as he snorted at the Draconequus.

You attempt to do that, looking quite cute as you madly flail your limbs about in the slippery soap. "REEEEOOOOWW!!! I'M GONNA GETCHU FREAKY HORSIE!!!" You roared with all of your fiery passion!!!!

Hmm? What nuisance whatever are you talking about?
However Shining's words DO reach you, and you see an angle forming for some prime mental warfare. Seeing Shining becoming discordant should be enough to satisfy you.

(He approaches Shining, looking down at him smiling playfully.)
"How could I? I do believe you mean how couldn't I?" You chuckles a bit at his joke. "You see My Little Pony, the fact of the matter is that when you're a being of Chaos and Disharmony, you can do whatever you want, and it's PERFECTLY in character." He looks away as he floats around the pony. "Not like PONIES I would think."

You take pride in his confused look. "You see, I'm sure people look at you and all they can see is innocence, sunniness, and being absolutely carefree... However what some, and I do mean SOME, fail to realize is that Equestria can be every bit as flawed as their own world." You take a moment of silence as you appear as a disembodied head, your smile apparent still. "For instance. I would never turn ponies to stone... And yet, that seems to be a favored method of punishment by our very own Princess Celestia. I mean, at least when I turned ponyvill into the Chaos Central to all of Equestria, I left the ponies with their free will, allowed them to partake in all of the fun I had to offer them."
You grin as you lounge on a bed of spikes you make appear out of thin air, a glass of chocolate milk appearing, filling up upside down before you hold it up. "But I digress... When it comes down to it, you ponies are every bit as capable of becoming villains as myself. You won't have that flamboyant flair of course, but some will try."

Shining's face looks horrified. "Oh! But you already KNOW what I mean don't you? Don't think I didn't see that. That was quite the interesting show. For a pony, what you did took a hoof of a lot of guts. And you did it for your sister. How touchingly traumatic! I'm usually not partial to drama, but drama DOES usually lead to an excellent dose of delicious chaos."

Shining looked up at Discord with a glare as he began talking... until that incident was mentioned. The thought of it made the stallion's chest seize up a little.

...Was this what Twilight was referring to? That incident with Exdeath? How bad was it if it was making Shining react like that...?

Shining's breathing began speeding up just a little bit, though he tried to keep a facade up in front of Discord.
"I... I am no villain! I am nothing like you!" The stallion was quaking inside, though. Part of his mind, that niggling self-doubt, was prodding his heart again. Self-loathing for his actions was trying to seep in.

By this point, you are just watching with wide-eyed fascination as Discord went on about the definitions of true evil and of the definition of Chaos... However when he brought up that incident with Exdeath you found yourself leaning forward in curiosity. What was he talking about?
"RRRREEEEOOOOOOOWW!!!!!!"
==> Taokaka; ATTACK!!!
(The screen show Tao, finally free from the bubbles, jumping at Discord and looking furious.)
"TAOKAKA BOOM!!!!" You draw your claws, ready to deliver righteous justice!!!

(Discord easily catches the cat and turns to her.)

(With practiced ease, he scratches Tao's claws against his face.)
==>
(And a second later they were all healed up.)
"Next time, kitty cat, you might want to consider adding a little more oomph to your attack. A little something extra you know?" Discord grins, as he snaps his fingers.

(A second later, Tao's cat sleeves burst open, revealing the fish she had hidden inside. The fish looked ravenous as they chased Tao, the cat looking horrified as they did. As she did, her real hands were revealed. They were tan and human with cat paw pads on the fingers and palms.)
"Shadow guy!! Shadow Guy help Tao meow!!!"
Hang on Tao, you are coming!!!

(As Aaron and Tao's battle with the fish go on in the background, Discord doesn't notice Twilight slowly waking up.)
You smile as you take a second to remember what Shining said after that interruption. "... Well, THAT may be true Shining Armor." That appears to get a smile on his face... However you didn't let that good feeling last long. "However, for a moment in your life you saw just WHAT could make your power the most dangerous among any magic known to Equestrian kind." He loops an arm around Shining Armor. "The power must have felt so natural as you... Oh but of course, why bother with explaining?"

(A remote appears in your hands as a couch appears and Discord teleports into it, popcorn appearing.)
You hold the Remote aloft. "Why don't we watch the show again shall we?"
"NOOOO!!!!" You are quite surprised to see that Twilight is now awake. "DISCORD DON'T YOU DARE-!!!!!" Your finger hovers over the play button......
==> CLICK!
Which you press.

(At that instant a hoverscreen appears in the library, showing a scene at the Void City mall. There is chaos throughout the mall as a baby blue armored behemoth stands over Twilight on the ground, Shining Armor walking towards him and looking almost snapped.)
You watch on... EVERYONE is watching on. "Oh, here comes the part I mentioned."
It was at that moment that everything came crashing down.

Everyone watched in horror as Exdeath just... EXPLODES from the inside out, thanks to one of Shining's barriers...
==>
Twilight looked sickened, horrified, and was on the verge of sobbing hysterically at what her brother was being forced to endure. "No... Stop... Please..."

Aaron looks on the verge of throwing up... Tao and the fish they were just fighting were way ahead of him, though it took Tao a second to figure out what just happened.

(The scene on the screen plays out to reveal Shining's horrified face..... Before it pauses and rewinds, making everyone watch it again.... Contrary to popular belief, even DISCORD looked sickened, but he took it with a grin.)

(The screen vanishes at that moment and the lights come on.)
You allowed things to be silent a moment... "See what I mean?" You slowly float up to Shining Armor, "In that brief moment, you knew what it was like to be powerful. In that brief moment, you did something I NEVER WOULD HAVE DONE IN A MILLION YEARS." A few clones of yourself appear and further emphasize this point by barfing into paper sacks they carried, though the third one appeared to decide to eat it back up. "How does it feel knowing that you did something that is so utterly beneath me that the act appalls even ME? Starting to get the picture Shining?"
You chuckle. "If Friendship is Magic, I would certainly never want to be YOUR friend. Because you discovered something no-pony should ever have to discover. The end of your innocence. So before you even think about trying to call me monstrous you should AT LEAST consider that first and foremost." With your point made, you FINALLY take that drink of your chocolate milk, sipping down the GLASS of your cup before tossing the Chocolate milk away, allowing it to explode against the far-off wall.

All was silent at that.

Oh, waaaaaaayy ahead of you. When you saw Shining pull an Invisible Woman on Exdeath, it was... easily one of the... simultaneously most awesome yet most terrifying things you'd ever seen. Who'd have thought that sweet Shining Armor had that in him...
Oh no... You looked over...

Shining watched, barely moving... as Discord's words hammered into his mind, echoing... he gritted his teeth, wrenching his eyes shut... a breath hitched in his chest. The white stallion barely whispered... "I'm... I'm a monster..." That broke the dam. Tears began falling freely down his cheeks, his color fading. After a little while, Shining began sobbing lightly.

==> Pieter: react.
"S...Shining! No!" It seemed to have no effect; the stallion drooped to the ground, a sobbing mess. Something in you just... snapped.
Oh... that chaotic motherfucker... a low snarl sounded in your throat as you began taking a few steps towards Discord. It was bad enough seeing Twilight shed a tear or two... but this? Oh was there going to be Hell to pay. "Discord..." Your voice was very low and sounded QUITE dangerous. "You are very much going to regret having done that..."

(Aaron is seen rubbing Tao's back only halfway listening to Discord's closing commentary.)
You do as such, by rubbing her back in an attempt to help settle her stomache. Thankfully the puking appeared to expell the last bit of liquid from the fish and they vanished after they finished, so this left Aaron alone with Tao to help her out. "T-Tao d-doesn't feel too good Sh-Shadow Guy... Meow..."
You just continue rubbing her back. "Shhhh... It's okay, just let it all out."

Tao proceeds to do this, barfing once more on the floor. "Ooough...." Tao moaned a little in nausia, but you give her a hug to help make her feel better. "Th-thanks Sh-Shadow Guy meow..."
You smile proudly, "Hey it's okay-"
It's about then that you hear Pieter's threat.
==>
(Twilight lifts her head to look as well, which Aaron notes.)
You notice Twilight looking up as Pieter directly challenges Discord. She was surprised. Heck you were too.
==> Discord; react to Pieter's Reaction
You do so by laughing. "Oh my dear goodness. You don't really mean to fight me do you?" You fake a scared look as Pieter approaches. "Oh no! I'm so scared! What are you gonna do? Space me to death? Hahahahahaha!!!" You continue to laugh at this, wiping a tear from your eye which turns into a banjo once it falls from his face. Discord took the banjo and strummed what sounded like a sad song played on a whole orchestra. "Now tell me my dear boy, how do you plan on hurting me? I'm a being of Chaos."

You grin slightly. "You ask how? Stupid Draconequus... it's as you said. I may not look the part, but..." You snap your fingers and a song that would probably sound very familiar to your friend began playing, as you seem to flicker, flashstepping towards Discord... then pushing off the ground, spinning and launching a 540 Roundhouse Kick, snapping it right at the Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony's jaw. A resounding crack sounded through the area as your foot, now in the black boot of your God Tier outfit (which you'd changed into as you flashstepped forward) collided with his face.
You land on one foot, easily holding balance despite the soap-ground due to having a gravity well on the underside of your base foot keeping you steady. As your aura flares up, you begin to speak in a powerful voice. Even Shining Armor, made Discordant and broken, looked at you.
"DISCORD! Spirit of Chaos and Disharmony, hear my words and witness my actions!" You shift stance as the music reaches a swell (around 50 seconds into the song), pulling out Alessi's Armaments, spinning the Space-stylized Trombone mutes in your hands. "I am he who they wait for! I am he who paints the image of the Gateway and trims the frame with Infinity! I am the Mage of Space, he who fights to keep balance in the world, and I am he who's going to kick your mismatched ass eight ways to Sunday! Now... BRING IT ON!"
As you said the last sentence, you shifted your stance more downward, pointing the mutes at Discord. God DAMN did you feel badass right now.

Oh, trust you, you are not the only one who is right now. Tao looked on with wide eyes and a wide smile. "Meoooow!! GO GET THE MEANIE PIE GUY!!!"

When you look to Twilight Sparkle, she looks completely and utterly shocked at what she had just witnessed. You don't blame her. This had to have been the FIRST time anyone had PHYSICALLY struck DISCORD. You hoped she was savoring in the sight.
==> Discord; Riposte
... OW. When you recover you glare at the Mage of Space, flashing your best pissed off expression. "Well, if you want SO badly to fight me, then fine. Allow me to show you how warping space and reality is DONE!"
==> Discord; Magic Time!!!!
With a flourish of magic, you send several hundred books flying straight at Pieter, all of them now having wings and the pages replaced by teeth. "Sink your teeth into this!!!"
You shoot them out towards the Mage of Spa- BOOOOM! GAGH!! WHAT THE HOOF!?!?!?
==> Discord; Inspect the Damage
The books had been swarming everywhere, however a single blast of void energy absorbed a great amount of them. Standing tall over the kitty cat, the Thief of Void stood at the ready, in peculiar looking robes that SCREAMED Ninja. "Oh so you want in too? Hahahahaha!!! The more the merrier then BOYS."
You charge up magic...

(The view shows the library....)

(Before a tornado made of books rips through it.)
==> Aaron; Get the others to safety!
(Aaron appears away from the Library, carrying Twilight, Shining Armor and havng Taokaka hang from his back.)
Already done. "Stay here and stay out of sight!" The order came out quickly and bluntly before you flew back toward the tornado of books.
Briefly, you could hear Tao's voice behind you, cheering you on, and that gave you quite a bit of courage.

You know that Aaron would probably make his way back but you didn't want to risk Discord hurting another innocent, so... flaring your aura up, you moved your hands, 'cubing' off the library, bending reality to do so.
"Sorry, Aaron! I know you want a piece of him, too, but I can't risk him hurting others! Leave him to me!" You spin your mutes in your hands again, the music still blaring. Using your power, you create a 'viewport' so the others can watch and hear the fight.

Shining was barely responding to outside stimuli, still very greyed out and Discordant. He wasn't crying as heavily but it was easy to see he was still shaken horribly.

You saw Discord whip up another bookstorm, and decided to counter. Your voice echoed as you threw your hands out. "The Planets! JUPITER!"
You spun in a circle, creating a gravity well in the center of the arena and spinning the books around, before launching them every which way, stopping your spin and crouching slightly. "Discord, do you know what the Mage of Space can do? What I gained from going God Tier?" You figured this should throw him for a loop or two.

(Aaron is seen bouncing off of the Space barrier and sent tumbling backwards in several non-intentional backflips.)
You are gladly making your way to him to help out in this big, badass fight against the spirit of disharmony. Oh god, you've been hoping to kick Discord's ass but- OWOWOW.
Yeah, that hurt...
==> Aaron; regain balance
You do so quickly and hear Pieter's announcement. You are a tad sore at him, but you at least understood what was up. With Discord sealed up inside this battlefield, he couldn't hurt anyone else or break anyone else's spirit...

Still....
"SOCK EM EXTRA HARD FOR ME PIETER!!" with that said, you fly back to Tao, Twilight and Shining and proceed to look after them. "Okay, I've officially been left out... Is everyone okay?"
Tao was the first to respond with her usual enthusiasm. "Tao's okay Shadow Guy, meow!" She rushes up and hugs you fiercely. "But that was scary meow!! Tao hopes Pie guy beats Scary horsey bad!"
You did too.
==> Notice Twilight and Shining.
You already have, and trust me, it's not a pretty sight.
Twilight was seen nuzzling her BBBFF, doing her best to comfort him after what he was forced to endure only earlier. "Shhh... It's okay Shining... You're okay... I promise you'll be okay..." She was in tears herself, knowing just how bad off Shining was now.
Tao sniffled as she watched this... You were looking at them with pity...
Now you REALLY wanted to kick Discord's ass...
==> Discord; look surprised.
WAAAAY ahead of you. Seeing Pieter dismiss your attack that easily was definately a surprise. However, you were not about to let this little troll get the best of you. Grinning, you create what looks like a giant Dragon out of a huge collection of the books that made the book tornado you were currently in.
"I don't know dear boy, and to be frank. I'm pretty sure I don't care." You snap your fingers as the dragon roars and suddenly blasts out scalding chocolate milk.

Nodding slightly in response to Aaron's request, you shift your stance, mutes vanishing as you switched to TKDkind again. "Presto Pummel!" Using your buff Fraymotif, you begin running, just a little of the scalding dairy product burning your hand, which couldn't quite get out of the way in time. As everyone watching through the viewport you made can see, you begin looking like The Flash or Quicksilver, a blurred figure racing around on the floor... the walls... and even the ceiling, your voice sounding. "Well, too bad because I'm going to tell you anyway. What the Mage class does is understand. We have knowledge of our Aspects and how to best use them. Being the Mage of Space grants me understanding of everything, more or less, in the universe. Multiverse, rather." You continue to race around, before snapping your fingers upon getting close enough, turning Discord's beard into Twizzlers and shifting your stance again, now standing still. "See, I know all the fundamental laws of the universe... and, through that knowledge... I know how to break said rules! So really, I must know; how does it feel having an opponent who has the capability to fight you on equal ground, Discord?
You pull out a Harmon-ade from your Mutekind abstratus, a Sonic variant, pull the 'pin' out of it, and throw it. This one was loaded with Rebecca Black's 'Friday', which you'd sworn to yourself to never use against another sentient being... but Discord's actions made you decide to make just one exception to your rule.

Meanwhile, outside, Shining was embracing Twilight slightly, tears still streaking down his cheeks; his color was very much faded and the stallion seemed absolutely miserable. His breath hitched in his chest. "I...I'm a monster... I should be locked away..."

You blast away the music the Harmonade had placed around you and, with some magic, made the twizzlers fly into your mouth. With a grin, your beard grows back in an instant. "Hmmm... I actually have to admit, it's rather... REFRESHING."

(He snaps his fingers...)
==> CALL DOWN THE THUNDER
FLASH!!!! Lightning strikes down on battlefield, a chair that was zapped comedically convulsed back and forth amidst the electric pulse like a cartoon character before hitting the ground, scorched. Grinning you look to Pieter, looking quite assured. "But young man, how long have you even HAD those powers? I myself? I've had my powers for a millenia. I've had a long long time to practice with them."
You laugh as you continue snapping your fingers. Immediately gravity seemed to become null and void in the library. In response you vanish and actually reappear in a rowboat, the oars roawing you in open air. "Dear boy, you haven't the chance. Against my solid experience built over many many years, what do you have?" The Oars and the boat turn into what looks like Wolves made of wood, that immediately fly at Pieter, letting out vicious snarls.
You meanwhile pat your back at the effortlessly made Timberwolves.
