Swift bounced in her seat with glee, hugging Evan's arm. This was so cute and she was so happy for them, not to mention the fact that this brought back memories.

He blinked for a while, unsure what Beth meant by her exchange. "U-um, how am I a Derpasaurus rex?" he asked, confused.

Pieter laughed softly at Beth's comment... then as she swung a punch at Arti, Pieter yelped. "Whoa whoa, wait! If you're gonna do that, do it outside!"

.... YEP, HE KNEW IT. He couldn't help but smile at the scene as Beth punched Arti shortly after Ryan proposed. Not that he could blame her. This proposal had been a rather sweet one. "Awww, let em have it a second Pete. You know Arti's made of steel anyway." He laughed some more at the result of Beth's punch, already reminded a great deal of some of the more recent slapstick he'd been watching on TV.

With a comical THUNK, Arti hit the floor, knocked out of his seat from the force of Beth's punch. "Ow," he said in response, not sounding too convincing. "That kinda sorta hurt ya know that?"
He then quickly jumped back up to his feet as though nothing had happened. "Aw please Aaron I ain't made of steel and you damn well know that. I'm made of graphene! Big difference yo."

"I wasn't even punching that hard, Arti," Beth offered as she walked to her new fiance. "You just are big guy."
It was almost comical at the height difference between the Seer and Witch.

"Haha...! Well, shoot, guys! I'm so happy for you!" Evan laughed, leaning up against Swift and giving the duo a mile-wide grin. "You're gonna have a good life together, I know it. I just... wow! I feel like we oughta do something really special now! ...Even though we kinda already are."

Ryan blushed, then placed his chin on his new fiance's head before hugging her. "W-well, we're already having an anniversary party for clearing the game... I wouldn't want to over-shadow that by making us do something else just because I proposed...
"But... I always have been partial to amusement parks. Just, not crowds..."

"Dude. Just don't." Aaron had been prompt in his response towards Ryan, grinning to himself as he poured another cup of ice cold soda into his cup. "We all know that this is SO much more then just an anniversary of our victory in the game. It's an Anniversary to the day we got our lives back. Hell, MORE THEN THAT. It's the Anniversary of the day we got our lives back AND MORE. We're capable of whatever we wish with our new situations. We're capable of doing things with our lives that we would've never dreamed of before hand." He picks up the cup holding it up to agree with Pieter's motion. "So you wanna celebrate the day you proposed on this day? THEN BY ALL MEANS LET'S DO THAT~. I personally think it's rather appropriate that we celebrate it today."
He chuckles softly. "SO YEAH~. On this memorable day, I DO say we propose a toast. To two people whom we owe so much to. One is someone I personally owe because I NOT BE STANDING HERE if it wasn't for her. Go ahead guys. Pitch in what you want. Show the future bride and groom some love eh~?" He held his cup higher, looking to the others as he did as such. Particularly to Arti.

"At least I know yer caring and responsible and all that jazz and will take good care of sis," Arti said, raising an entire bottle of wine in toast to the new bride and groom. "C'mon don't give me that look I really mean it. Just because I was team jackass doesn't mean I can't be happy for sis and her nerdy soon-to-be husband."
"Heh, it's funny..." Everyone turned and looked at the token evil teammate. "You two engaged on the day we got our lives back. The day we re-entered our world... It's fitting don'tcha think? C'mon, you two lovebirds can hold the party in Biston! After all there ain't nobody who can plan your wedding and make you two look fittingly stylish better than me!!"

Beth patted Arti's head. "On new beginning will always lead to another. One chapter has ended and the next begins. To a long life to each of us here," she offered before raising a a cup of root beer. "Cheers."

Evan chuckled and slightly lifted his glass of Dr. Pepper. "It's funny... the way that things work out. I don't think I need to emphasize how much of a sad sack I was when this whole ordeal began. But it's true, what they say... how it's not about waiting out the storm, but learning to sing in the rain. I thought I had it good before I suddenly lost it all. But now... I think we can agree that we all have it even better than we did before!"
He wrapped an arm around Swift and raised his glass to Beth and Ryan. "After everything we went through together, a little happiness is warranted. It's only by grace that we earned as much as we did. Heck, Aaron, I could say the same for Ryan! I don't know where Swift and I would be without him backing me up. So by all means, here's to you guys."

Swift giggled, snuggling close to her husband. "Absolutely. Today is you guys' day. A day to revel in the awesomeness you guys have been rewarded with. You deserve it, along with the happiness of a lifetime with those you care about."
She raised her own glass, smirked and continued, "So Evan, if you don't mind me saying the most obvious thing you could possibly think of... I agree... this calls for a toast, so pour the champagne, pour the champagne!"
