Ryan blushed, his big, gnarly smile on display for the world to see. "C-come on guys, you're making me blush," the man stammered, eventually raising his glass of coke as well. "Heh... to many days in the future, with all of us in good spirits and condition!"

"Cheers to that." And with that, Pieter clinked his glass with everyone else's before taking a drink of his wine. "It was... a very long and difficult road, but I'd dare say that this makes it all worth it. Now.
The blond grinned, using his powers to get the table laid out with the food he'd prepared, along with whatever was brought. "No sense just standing around when the food's getting cold. Enjoy!"
With a cheery laugh, Pieter began to get plates filled.

The toast had been a rousing success, gaining support from everyone around the table and more then getting a few laughs and blushes out of both Ryo and Beth. It made him smile a bit more to see this...
Though as he did, he couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of jealousy start to appear within himself as he filled up his plate... It seemed EVERYONE had found someone for themselves. Well, those that were interested anyway. Alex himself was somewhat inbetween. He wasn't interested if it appeared out of reach, but would've been if offered... Which seemed like such a paradox when one considered that he literally had the power to reach anything he so wanted. As a Thief of Void, he could literally steal anything. Abilities, items, items from other dimensions, even sources of power. But the one thing he couldn't steal, the one thing that always avoided him, was the feelings of another person. Particularly if they were aimed at him...
He looked down as he ate, seeming distracted and, every once in a while, just stopping to poke at the food on his plate more then picking it up to eat it.

Arti, ever the hedonist, chugged down the bottle of wine after the toast, before proceeding to shovel down more of the feast into his throat.
"C'mon brah," he said through a mouthful of food, nudging Aaron's shoulder with a fork. "You can tell me what's up."

Evan smiled a little as he resumed eating in silence. He kept this up when the attention suddenly shifted to Aaron. He cast only a brief glance in his direction, followed by a polite nod, then he respectfully gave Aaron some space. So many feelings and emotions all at once... He had an inkling he knew what was coming.

Likewise, Swift kept a respectful silence when she noticed Aaron's downcast gaze. No sense in pressing him, especially since so many others were. If he wanted to talk, he'd talk. Otherwise, she was going to stay out of his business.

Ryan happily shuffled over to the buffet table, picking up a large quantity of food (mostly any pasta there) before he stopped to notice Aaron. He approached his fellow player, placing his plate and sitting down. "Hope you don't mind me sitting here," he offered, trying his best to overcome his apparent dislike of interacting with others.
"...It, took me a long time to learn this, but it's always important to leave an invitation for those feeling weighed down by something. If you don't want to talk about what's wrong now, it's fine... but know I'd be willing to listen whenever you would like to talk. So... what's up?"

Pieter had glanced over, sitting by Evan and Swift; he'd spent a lot of time with Aaron during the game, and he knew him fairly well... so the blond figured that the Void player would open up eventually. He remained quiet as well.

.......... Alex let out a sigh. "Guys... Really it's nothing... I don't want to bother everyone at the table like this. Not when there's so much to be happy about." The insistent gazes and some muttering got to him as he tried to clam up... Before finally. "Okay okay fine! I'm jealous alright??"

He took a bite of his food, taking a second to chew and swallow before continuing... "I look around this table and see so many smiling faces. Many of you have stability in your lives. Some of you have each other to help out as well... That's... Not really something I've taken the time to find myself." He takes a gulp of his drink. "I mean... Don't get me wrong, the life of a jetsetter is very exciting. I get to see so many sights I only got to dream of before I got my powers. I got to go to places I'd always dreamed of seeing... And for a little while I was happy with it." ..... "Recently though, I.... Guess I just can't help but wonder what it is I'm missing out on, just staying in one place. Meeting people... In a way, I... Guess I envy my ecto-sister and her new husband to be..."
He stuck out his tongue, leaning back in his chair, looking up at the cieling wistfully. "I guess.... I just can't help but wonder. We'll I find a place of stability that I can call home? Will I... Heh... Find the right person for me like that?"

Not a lot of people had been aware that such a restless side to the thief existed. Which only made sense. He often spent so much time caring for others, rather then sharing about himself.

The culprit was revealed to be one Dante M. Arti, who attracted some... interesting looks from the other party-goers.
"I know I said this before but you really are the worst thief ever. Can't you be bleedin' selfish for once in your life?" He took a minute to take a bite and swallow. Whether he chewed was another question entirely. "You're gonna be in an early grave if you keep doin' that boy."

"You'll find them soon enough, Aaron. You're a handsome guy that could, forgive me for the poor phrasing, steal a woman's heart and take her breath away. Heck you might have seen her in your travels," Beth offered before punching Arti once more. "Dante. Give me one good reason not to pull the Myrtenaster on you for unneeded roughness. And campaigning for Mayor of Boston for the 6th time is not a good reason."

"Yeah man, don't beat yourself up about it," Evan meekly responded. "Finding the right person, settling down, starting a whole new life... it takes time and dedication. The perfect life isn't gonna just fall into your lap; I think we all know that by now. But... hey... God delivers. We've gotten this far by His grace, and I know you'll figure out the next step. Ask and you shall receive." There was no mistaking what Evan was referring to. Even after creating a universe together, he still held strong to his faith.

Swift wasn't entirely sure what to say, given how little she knew about Aaron. Still, she had to offer some encouragement. It was only polite. "Yeah! Ya just gotta step up and give it a try. It took this nerd forever to ask me out! When the time comes... when you're ready... you'll know it. You'll have earned it."
