He skidded along the ground, desperately picking himself up with a growl. "YOU EARNED THAT FOR THE AWFUL JOKE!" Papyrus snarled. He plucked a bone from the ground, using it like a sword as he rushed at the opponent-
Only for a wall of bones to suddenly appear as she tried to counter attack, the bones soon making a circle around her as Papyrus tried to sneak around her line of sight. A bone jutted from underneath her, hopefully manageing to at LEAST uppercut the maniac human. "WHAT IS THIS THING EVEN?!! DID ALPHYS EXPERIMENT ON HUMANS OR SOMETHING?!?"

... Was she?
... No. No Alphys swore her experimenting days were over. Besides, the two had spent so much time together since they got out of the underground world. "Can't be. I've practically been living with Alphys the last few days. If she'd been doing... WIERD stuff like this I would've known about it!" Did this have anything to do with this odd new locale they were in? It seemed odd that they were being attacked right out of the blue only SECONDS after they land here. Yeowching to herself, she manages to focus enough energy to create another spear... Still it was tough. She had heard from Alphys that humans were infinitely more solid then monsters were. And that made them a viable threat even to someone as strong as her... But this? This had been on a level completely unheard of to her before.
It was like... They WEREN'T fighting a human at all.
'Well, WHATEVER the case is', she thought as she gulped down some food she had on her person. Don't think too hard about WHERE she was holding onto it, it was healing her HP and allowing her body to recuperate. 'We gotta do something about this thing! It's clear it won't let us run away and fighting it dead on isn't doing much of ANYTHING. Maybe if she and Papyrus attacked together. "Papyrus!! We have to try fighting together if we wanna take er' out!!"
Teaming up with the skeleton was probably gonna be the CLOSEST thing he was going to get to his dream of being a royal guardsman. So he'd better fucking APPRECIATE THIS.
"Eat this!!!" Almost immediately, Spears started raining down on the monster, as it was having a tough time blocking the bone attacks. "Here!! Have a taste of my spears of Justice, bastard!!!" She grins widely now FULLY back in her element. She pointed to the sky in a heroic post... Then swatted the finger down to cue more raining spears.
CLA-CLA-CLA-CLANG!!!! Several of the spears along with a number of bones were deflected as the monster masterfully wielded it's weapon, twirling it around like a boe-staff. "UND SOO!!!!!" Annoyed, Undyne started swinging spears from diagonal angles, in an attempt to catch the beast off guard, swatting her hands from side to side to emphasize each launched attack.

While Undyne kept the odd being busy from the front, Papyrus lowered a portion of the bone circle, standing squarely behind the beast as he thrust his Bone carrying arm forward, the bone rapidly stretching and retracting to score multiple hits on her back. He quickly pulled the bone back in, raising the circular barrier yet again as he scrambled from his current position.
Any bones blasted from their spot in the circle would just be replaced by more. Papyrus was making sure he couldn't be seen by the enemy. In his mind, vacant though it often was, he imagined that distracting it into focusing on him would give Undyne the opportunity to land a clean hit. She was much stronger than him, after all.

The several battering back attacks slammed the beast forward, and caused her to reel around with a loud growl. "HRET DYOU KALLA URR LET!!!!!" Officially angry, she opened up another wind tunnel to start sucking in the bones surrounding her-
B̸̷̡̕E̴̡H̴̡́͟I͜҉̛͜͝N̴̕͡D̸̵̶ ̴̨͡͏Y̡̢͟͝Ơ͘Ù̵!̵̢͘͘!̡̨̧͘͞!̴̵̕!͡͡
Erin just jumped upward- SLICE!!!! NARROWLY AVOIDING SEVERAL SPEARS, one of which carried by Undyne. "DAMMIT!!!" She looked up to see Erin aiming her blackhole attack downward. "OH NO YOU DON'T!!!" Several spears shot out of Undyne's swipe, stabbing at the beast's arm distracting it a moment. "Gotcha!!!" And with that, she jumped up high, grabbing the robed creature-
WHOOSH!!!! CEEEERAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before GIVING IT A MIGHTY HEAVE AND TOSSING IT CLEAN AWAY, causing it to crash into several buildings and blasting clean through one of those wooden gateway thingies. "Hahaha~!! TAKE THAT!!!"
Another void portal opened up directly in front of Undyne's face- "What-??" A HAND REACHED OUT AND GRABBED HER FACE BEFORE YANKING HER IN. "H-HEY!! LEGGO LEGGO-"
BAM!!!!!!!
The fist that was sticking out was proof positive that the portal had been put there just to pull Undyne a little closer.
CEEEERAAAAAASH!!!!!!
Undyne crashed into a single building, but mercifully only stopped on the second wall..... She then crumpled and hit the ground, face significantly bloodied. "Ugh...."
A portal then appeared in front of Papyrus...
GROWLING, ABNORMAL RED EYES GLARED AT HIM FROM WITHIN AS THE BEAST WALKED OUT PULLING OUT ANOTHER RACKET WEAPON.

He started wigging out. He jumped back, his white bone shifting into a cyan one as he thrusted it at her, wildly swinging the thing to bop her away. "I CAN BE VERY TERRIFYING WHEN I WANT TO BE!!!"he issued, still flailing the bone around.

Papyrus continued waving the bone-
Only for the beast to reach out and catch it, hand standing perfectly still to do so. It then GRIPPED Before Papyrus could pull away. The beast's furious growling was only emphasized as it reeled back a leg...
CLANG!!!!
Papyrus' armor took the brunt of the attack, as evidenced by the boot imprint that was left DENTING THE METAL... But it still sent him flying backward, landing flat on his boney butt and rolling away before slamming to a stop against the wall. The beast looked like it was getting angrier and angrier by the second as it walked up reeling the weapon back for any number of swipes it would take to finally KILL this damned annoyance.

He was freaking out, screaming. "WAIT WAIT WAIT!" He yelped, shaking his bones. "CAN'T WE BE REASONABLE?!! I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT ANYMORE, PLEASE!!! UNDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYNNNNNNNEEEEE!!!!!!"

The called name finally snapped her out of her daze... She couldn't move. She could barely breathe... The moment felt so horrible... So familiar... It felt like her body wanted to melt away into pain and finally end everything... However, unlike how she imagined the feeling, she wasn't melting... The feeling only seemed to persist... Her memories swam as she started recalling some more... A feeling of intense pain, of knowing she had failed and failed hard.... A feeling of utter misery. "UNDYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"That voice... It echoed in her head.... That was... .... THAT WAS-! "P-Papyrus-!" She tried to get up but she flopped off her feet and hit the ground. "N-No... No no nononononono! L-Let me get up dammit!! Let me get up please!!" There was a growl in the background that was growing louder as it went along. "LET ME GET UP!!! I... I CAN'T..." A memory appeared in her head. "I CAN'T... I CAN'T LET HIM DIE AGAIN!!!" ... Die again-? "NO!!! I WON'T LET HIM DIE AGAIN!!!! I WON'T LET ANYONE DIE!!!!! YOU HEAR ME?!?!?!? NO-ONE!!!!!!!!!" And suddenly, in your intense twitching, trying to move, trying to PREVENT SOMETHING VERY VERY HORRIBLE FROM HAPPENING...
You suddenly feel...
DETERMINATION.--------------------------------------- The Beast was suddenly aware of a powerful blast of energy... Still it approached Papyrus, ready to kill. However, before it could swing- SEVERAL SPEARS APPEARED AND BLOCKED THE ATTACK.  ?? The beast turned to the last place she saw Undyne get sent flying off- BAM!!!!!! IT HAD TO HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE MOST EPIC HEADBUTTS PAPYRUS HAD SEEN ANYONE GIVE ANYONE. Undyne afterwards was merciless, she had somehow changed out of her swim wear into a very dark but heroic armor. Roaring in anger, she PUNCHED the Thief, spun around to pull out her spear, then spun BACK around to BAT THE BEAST OUT OF THE WAY. "You're not going to lay a hand on him, you hear me??!? SO LONG AS I'M STILL KICKING-" She pointed upward, grinning smugly in a fashion she must have thought as very heroic. "I'M GONNA BE KICKING YOUR ASS!!!" She charged forward, ready to stab the beast as many times as would be necessary to finally kill it, forming HUNDREDS of spears and launching them at the monster. |

Papyrus suddenly gained eyes, clapping as Undyne managed to slap aside that terrifying monstrosity. "YOU'RE THE BEST AT BIG ENTRANCES, UNDYNE!" he cheered. "NOW LET'S GET UP AND GO KICK HER SORRY PATOOTY!!!"

The wind howled. Debris was sent flying everywhere as Undyne slammed the beast backward. It actually FELT like her attacks were actually doing shit now, actually legitimately DAMAGING this thing. Maybe not a LOT, but it was still SIGNIFICANTLY more then what she was doing before. And that made her feel ALL KINDS OF GOOD. Slashing across the beast's back, she then jabbed her spear and twenty others right at the monster. Not a single one of them pierced through, almost as if it's skin was pure steel. Still, it DEFINITELY looked like it hurt, and the multitude of spears slammed the beast down into the ground.
The monster recovered quickly, landing on it's hands and backflipping back to refocus it's attack- AND QUICKLY CARTWHEELED AWAY AS UNDYNE APPEARED ABOVE HER AND ROCKETED A SPEAR CLEAN INTO THE GROUND WHERE SHE HAD BEEN STANDING PREVIOUSLY. The sheer speed blew up the ground and caused the ground to quake. In Undyne's eyes, the beast could see a number of things; familiarity with the situation and a dogged determination unlike anything it had seen before. It was like that... 'DETERMINATION' was making her even stronger.
The beast lifted off the ground and started moving about fast, dodging more spear projectiles as they came fast and unblockable almost in patterns that no normal person would have been capable of dodging. Well good thing she was NOT most people.
"WOULD YOU JUST-??!?!?!? QUIT MOVING AROUND?!?!?!?"
She launched more spears-
The beast quickly inhaled them into a Void portal.
She liked using moves that were hard to dodge? Let's see how she liked one of HERS. Letting out an inhuman ROAR, the beast's energy spiked. Instantly void portals sprouted up all over Undyne. Instantly after, her own spears shot out of them at high speeds. "GKT?!?! AAAGH!!" She had to be quick, she had to be fast. She had never imagined that this creature knew how to use her OWN ATTACKS AGAINST HER. "STOP THAT-! AAAGH!!!" One Spear was successful in nailing her side knocking her over. Thankfully, she managed to recover before more attacks could hit her and went back to dodging. "Just... Gotta... Catch em!!" She swiped her hands about trying to catch the spears as they zoom by while still moving about-
Until the spears and the void portals vanish.
"? ... OH CRAP."
She turned and NARROWLY caught the Beast's attack, entering into a clash between it's racket and her spear. She was holding up better NOW, but it was still tough... Still, her DETERMINATION ROARED in her and she seemed to be getting steadily stronger. "No you don't... I'M... NOT... LOSING TO YOU... AGAIN-!"

Several bones tried jabbing nto the beast, Papyrus desperately attempting to help his friend fight off the strange, human... monster... THING. "THIS WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER IF I COULD TURN INTO A CRAZY HERO THING TOO!" he shouted, his vibrant bones continuing to try to pummel the opposition.

It appeared to be working as well... Well it wasn't really affecting the God-Tier too extensively, but it WAS distracting her enough to keep her from fighting Undyne as effectively as she could've been. "GRET ISE NOJKIRUQ DAJ-JA!!!" The screaming appeared to be in annoyance in whatever language the beast was speaking. Undyne's spears jabbed into the beast and rocketed her away before she could effectively counter Undyne's attacks.
"Hahahaha~!!! Yes!! We've got er' on the run!!!" She could tell, this thing was weakening. It was getting slower, it wasn't as focused. "Keep it up bone man!!" She rushed over to the woman grinning widely, as she prepped up to ten lances for another big attack. The grimdark growled at her and held up a hand-
A portal suddenly appeared in front of Undyne and she zoomed into it, wide-eyed and surprised. "H-HEY-!!!!"
There was a deep growl as the portal closed... Followed by blasting energy.
They were everywhere, void portals forming all over... AND FROM THEM HORRIBLE TENTACLED... THINGS STARTED LEAKING OUT OF THE PORTALS GROWLING AND SINGING PROFANE ARCANE SONGS IN LANGUAGES PAPYRUS COULDN'T UNDERSTAND. Another portal opened- A MASSIVE FURRED HAND APPEARED FROM IT, UNDYNE TRAPPED IN IT'S MASSIVE FINGERS. "WH-WHAT-!??! LET GO OF ME!! LET GO-"
BAM!!!!!!
The massive hand's palm SLAMMED THE SIDEWALK, sandwiching Undyne between the cold clammy flesh and the cold hard cement.
[All music stops at the loud CRASH!!!!!]

Papyrus was shaking in his boots, seeing the mass disturbing and writhing tentacles made him want to run for the hills, to get out of here and as far away from that nasty being as he possibly could. Then he saw Undyne slam into the ground. Something within him snapped to pieces. "...MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY NOT HURTING MY FRIENDS," he growled, an orange light flashing from his right eye for the quickest blink of a second. His aura became visible, a powerful blue light engulfing Papyrus as he pulled two bones from the ground, twirling them in a menacing manner. "BECAUSE YOU'RE ABOUT TO HAVE A BAD TIME." |

The Grimdark beast, amongst it's fellow clansmen, could only glare at the tentacle, picking up the only barely conscious Undyne whom was growling angrily-
Wait...
!??!?!?!
HER BODY SEEMED TO BE MELTING.
Her eyes were wide in shock at what was happening with Papyrus. "N-No-!! P-Papyrus!! D-Don't!! Y-You can't!!" The Thief gripped harder on Undyne's armor as it melted away... This energy she was picking up... Both from the fish monster and the Skeleton... She could tell that the melting effect was more to do due to it's body's own weakness... This energy allowed the fish to properly match her on the field...
What WAS this energy? Maybe this skeleton could provide the answer-.
Undyne's hand weakly lifted up and feebly gripped at the monster's sleeve. "D-Dammit-..!! D-Don't you hurt him!!" Her body was starting to melt away, she could feel scales starting to turn into liquid... But she didn't care. Papyrus came first. "Don't-!!" The energy she was letting off was quite wonderful really.

Papyrus gave an odd, immense power. One previously thought to be his brother's ALONE. He pulled up the rampaging beast with but a thought, then slamming them into the dirt far away, with enough force to leave Undyne out of their terrifying grasp. He ran straight to the fish woman, holding her close. "UNDYNE, YOU CAN STOP MELTING NOW!" he begged, tears welling from his eyesockets. He cradled her, crying up a small, salty tsunami on her.
