And this freaking CRYING WAS JUST MAKING HER SCALES WEAR AWAY QUICKER, but she didn't have the heart to tell him that... In the end... She didn't have the heart to tell him a lot of things...

How this power was great...

But how this power was also her greatest downfall.

It gave her the strength to fight.

And now this power was going to rob her of her body.

..... "Papyrus... I'm... I'm sorry... I... I tried..." She felt the light leaving her eyes-

THEN SUDDENLY,

LIGHTENING... BUT, HER LIFE NOT VANISHING. " W-WHAT-??"

She noticed her energy leaving her. Same with Papyrus, potentially saving him from melting along with her... Hell it saved her from MELTING FURTHER. "What-?? What's going-??"

The two looked to see the power traveling through a void portal.

"........... No..."

She looked up to see the thief RECEIVING this gift. DETERMINATION UP THE BUTTLOAD WAS BEING GIVEN TO A MONSTER THAT COULD KILL THEM WITH BUT A PINKIE FINGER.

"NO-NO NONONONONONO!!!!!!!"

Undyne was still freaking out along with Papyrus...

But the beast stopped for reasons unknown...

It's eyes twitched and it looked like it's jaw was hitching.

He grabbed her slowly re-constituting body, screaming his fool head off. "I DON'T WANT TO BECOME SPAGHETTI SAUCE, UNDYNE!!!" he yelled, preparing for the worst...

Then he noticed her begin to twitch in place. "...UM. IS THAT NATURAL, UNDYNE???"

For the longest moment, Undyne held onto Papyrus in complete panic. They had given it everything they got and this beast reciprocated by STEALING their strongest attributes. It now seemed apparent that it was going to release all of that energy all at once, obliterating them both. This would be the last day the two would see....

Then nothing happened...

When Undyne and Papyrus opened their eyes, it was to see the monster flinching back, suddenly starting to hold it's head, growling loudly and yeowling in pain.

"WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME?!? WHY WOULD I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT?!?!" She screamed.

The creature's hand suddenly formed into a fist-

BAM!!!! AND IT STARTED PUNCHING ITSELF IN THE FACE. IKKSSSRREEE-TO DA- KE-OUT OF MY... HEAD!!!!" The blackness ebbed away, revealing a normal female's face underneath as she fought desperately against the blackness. "GET OUT OF MY HEA-UUN SOO DRE-GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!"

..... The determination-!!

"Wait a minute..." SHE HAD seen this before!! "Papyrus!! We gotta help her!!" She grins. "Listen, imagine something's got a hold of her brain, and the only way we can end this fight is to beat that thing out of her! So.. If she can take punishment... " She slowly pushes herself up, She was hurt, she was sore, her body itself hurt...

But no.

She was not about to ignore a voice in need.

"Get back up and keep fighting!!!"

She launches several spears at the girl all of them slamming into her hard. "AAAAAAGH!!!! UUN SAR TAAAGH!!!! OUT!!! OUT!!!" She punches herself in the face while more lances help her by hammering the beast in the gut. "OOOOF!!!!"

Papyrus gave a grin, summoning a swarm of bones to bap the beast about. "LIKE THIS?!" he smiled, flinging her around with the bone thwacks.

Undyne grinned. "Good."

Several lances appeared around the girl and all skewered her all at once. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!" The God-tier hit the ground, coughing up purple blood. "THAT'S.... THAT'S MY DEAL... EITHER YOU GIVE ME BACK CONTROL... OR YOU LOSE ONE OF YOUR OH SO PRECIOUS CONTROLLERS. AND GOOD LUCK GETTING A REPLACEMENT FOR ME."

Ever so slowly, the darkness lifted from the girl, and she returned to normal.

Before Undyne and Papyrus was a young human girl wearing odd robes with a peculiar emblem on the chest, dressed a great deal like a ninja of some kind. Undyne was almost reminded of this one video game character ninja's attire looking at it.

... Suddenly, her labored breathing became apparent.

"Huff... Huff... I... I did it... .... Ow... This.... This REALLY fucking hurts..."

Undyne and Papyrus watched as the girl hit the ground, unconscious.

It took her a moment to react, unsure of how to approach this threat... This girl that had been so much trouble, this girl that had very nearly killed all of them... Really, Undyne was unsure HOW to take this...

After all, even when the darkness ebbed away, this human...

STILL didn't really feel human at all.....

The skeleton man tentatively approached her, poking her a bit with his gloved hand. "ARE YOU OKAY, HUMAN?" he asked, trying to help her wake up. "PLEASE TELL ME YOU'RE FINE! A NAP IN THE MIDDLE OF A GHOST TOWN IS THE OPPOSITE OF DOING THAT!"

The fish woman was brought back to reality thanks to Papyrus rushing to check on the odd human. Almost instantly, she rushed forward and quickly yanked Papyrus back. "WHOOOOOA Papyrus! WHOA!" She glares at him. "This chick just tried to KILL US, and you're going to go up and ask if she's okay???"

"I BELIEVE ANYONE CAN BE GOOD IF THEY REALLY WANT TO BE!!!" he exclaimed, huffing at Undyne. Similarly to what Undyne felt, Papyrus could feel something tickling in his mind- a phantom memory...

The memory of believing Frisk could be a good person...

He fell silent, looking at the odd human being. "BESIDES, YOU TRIED TO KILL FRISK AND THEY TOTALLY WENT BACK AND BECAME YOUR FRIEND LATER! DON'T QUESTION MY MORAL ETHICS!!"

Even if Papyrus was right, this was not the same kind of case as Frisk. Even as an ultra dangerous human, Frisk was still a human child. On top of being near an adult age here, this human... Didn't... "Papyrus, this is an entirely different thing... That girl doesn't... FEEL human." She thinks back to what had happened before. "I'm not sure WHAT she is, but she's a lot more dangerous then Frisk could potentially have been... Heck, she may be even more dangerous then Frisk would have been if he become an ADULT. We're not talking kill all monsters bad, we're talking 'DESTROY ENTIRE UNDERGROUND' BAD."

The girl on the ground groaned, causing Undyne to jump back in panic. "Come on, you saw it for yourself! I say we get out of here before she wakes up-"

A clock ticked back and forth in an alternate dimension, doing it's best to judge the actions of the God-Tier that had only recently died... Hmmm, her death couldn't technically count as 'Just'... Sure she attacked two people, but they successfully repelled her. On top of that, she started heroically fighting the Horrorterrors control...

... No, no... She didn't do enough to count as heroic...

Her story was still too early in, it had barely begun.

The clock finally judged, stopping right between the two sides... The clock started to glow brilliantly.

Undyne was cut off when light started pouring out of the girl, lifting her into the air. "Wh-What the hell-??" Her eyes were wide at the show, but she quickly redirected her sight.

Papyrus gave a gulp, grinning big at the sight of the glowing human. "I THINK HER DETERMINATION'S KICKING IN!" he cheered.

The woman slowly lowered back down to the ground.... Then she pushed herself up, moaning in pain. "Oooooowwwwwww... Sweet CHRIST that stung...." After a moment, she levitated to her fee-

Now hovering a foot off the ground, she quickly started looking around before finally finding the two monsters. "... Oh! You two must be the ones that helped me out back there! Thanks for killing me. I think it really helped." She noted some of the black fog trying to approach her, however she formed a void bubble around her head keeping it out. "NOPE! I've been through one hell today. Not going through another you dumb pea-soup gas."

Pea-soup... GAS? "Wait a second..." Undyne looks at the woman oddly. "YOU know what's going on here? What this fog is-?"

"Well, kinda sorta? I know where it's coming from anyway... But could you guys just give me a second? I had so little time to adjust to the realization of everything while I was trapped in my head." She looked around, taking a deep breath through the nose. "Dimensional Island... I can't believe it actually exists~. How surreal~..." Noting the weird looks, she turns back to the monsters. "Oop! Sorry. The name's Erin."

"AHA! WELL MET ERIN! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, ACCEPT THIS WONDERFUL GREETING!" the skeleton smiled, bowing to her. "SEE UNDYNE? SHE'S NOT AS BAD AS WE THOUGHT!"

...... Well, she was definitely STRANGER then Undyne thought she was going to be.

And rule number 1 about anime? Strange characters were usually quite suspicious ones... Unless the ENTIRE ANIME is weird. Undyne looked at the woman oddly a moment as she fussed about her robes a moment. "Yeah... Nice to meet you... The name's Undyne-"

"Oh I know who you two are."

"Y-YOU DO-" Undyne had to admit she couldn't help but be flattered that she was known... But still, to be known in some other world-?

Another flash of light later, and Erin was now dressed in what appeared to be a black sleeveless blouse with yellow heiroglyphs on the chest and around the collar, sewn onto baggy blue pants that ended down at the ankles, the girl now barefoot. The new outfit almost looked otherworldly. "Haha~! Well of course I do! I got to play your game once! Undyne, you're a great warrior, and Papyrus? You're a 'master chef'." It was a good thing Papyrus would never see the quote marks. "It's a pleasure to meet you both! I'm such a big fan~!"

....... Undyne was both flabbergasted and blushing. "Um... Well..." She couldn't help but grin in a dorky fashion. "Hahaha~! Always nice to meet a fan~!" REgardless the insane circumstances.
