Lagola sniffled again, rubbing the soft sleeve fabric against her cheek. "B-But... you listen. Th-They... The others... they think I'm just..."

I'm awesome muthafuckah, I'm awesome.
Orcana swaggered around the corner, a notable wag to her hips. The numerous bangles on her arms clanged as she rounded the corner...
.. And ran into her moirail talkin' to one of them lowbloods.
"Lagola Kippin what the motherglub are ya doin' blubberin' like the goddamn pansy ya know I hate! And it ain't in the fuck ya way!"
She snapped her fingers and got in the poor bronzeblood's face. "Ya hear me?! I know you a low low blood but you still a pathetic excuse fo' a troll! Dry them tears man! Act like a motherglubbin' troll for a fuckin' change!"

Aquila had faintly heard the jingling of the bangles he knew, but... he'd been paying close attention to Lagola. As such, he hadn't realized that Orcana was getting closer until she was suddenly there and yelling at her.
The Jadeblood yelped, jumping back, his feathery wings appearing in his surprise as he hovered in the air. "O? O, what the hell?!"

Lost in her thoughts, Lagola hadn't heard the familiar chimes that preceded the usual onslaught of rage, but as soon as she heard Orcana's voice, she went rigid, eyes wide with dread.
As Orcana got up close and personal, Lagola buried the lower half of her face in her sleeves. The aquatic troll might not have been the tallest of the bunch, but she was practically a giant compared to the quivering hare troll. Lagola didn't dare speak, though she did unintentionally utter a few pathetic squeaks and whimpers. She didn't even notice Aquila, blinded by Orcana's shadow and the bronze tears building up in her eyes.

"Birdbrain why don't ya just stop bein' so motherglubbin' nice?!" Orcana motioned towards the quivering wreck on the floor, not caring that her voice was growing steadily louder. "I tell her "oh hey this portal goes to a buncha treasure" she she's surprised when it turns out to be an army of ogres! (Though I suppose I moderately happy when she somehow got out) She fell for everything we said! And you're still gonna comfort the wiggler?!"
Orcana crossed her arms and scoffed at the display of the wings. "Nice wings birdy, is that meant to scare me? Whale guess what you aint scarin' me!" She resumed glaring at the hare troll. "Lagola MOTHERGLUBBIN' Kippin! How do you wake up knowing you're a pathetic excuse for a troll!? Rabbit's gotta stop trustin' the farmer before she ends up in the motherfuckin' snare!!"

"Hh?!" Aquila was slightly dumbstruck as Orcana began her tirade anew... and he frowned. As she began shouting at Lagola again... the Jadeblood quickly flew in, landing between them. In his eyes was something extremely uncommon. He looked rather angry.
"Orcana, the game's over. We're all out here together. This has gotta stop." His wings disappeared again as he gave his Moirail a glare. "You know that this isn't gonna get you anywhere with Lagola. You've known this since before we started that game!"

By this point, Lagola had sunk so low that she was pretty much sitting on the floor. She anxiously tried to scoot away from Orcana, bumping into the wall and causing her broom to comically thump against her horn in the process.
She looked up as Aquila rooted himself between the girls, lowering her arms and exposing her gritted teeth and quivering lips. She desperately hoped this would be enough to quell the flames, because she couldn't take much more of this heat.
Why? Why couldn't she stand up for herself without looking like a pathetic wreck?!

"Whale then, birdy," Orcana motioned to Lagola, taking the moment to scoop up the broom she had dropped. I could shit a bettah one out in ma dreams.
"If you so effective, why she still the biggest muthaglubbin' wimp in Paradox Space? Oh. Fuckin' wait." She took on an evil grin and placed a cold hand on the hare troll's shoulder. "Lessons in leadership Aquilla. Bein' nice wit' trolls amounts ta jack shit."
She whirled the poor bronzeblood around to face her. "Hey lil bunny you lookin' good fer a lowblood. You might even be a true troll like me in a few sweeps if ya listen ta me instead of mistah birdy."

"Orcana, I am not joking around." Aquila frowned darkly as Orcana went past him, turning with his arms folded. "Everyone has something to offer and there's a hell of a lot more than just aggression."
He wasn't even sure why he was so angry... it might have been being so close to the Rage troll.

"SHUT UP!!!"
Lagola barely had time to consider her choice of words before suddenly blurting them out. She tried to sound angry in doing so, failing miserably, as her tears choked her up and left her sounding more whiny than anything else, and her expression reflected desperation more so than aggression.
"You- Y-Y-You're always going on about how much better you are than everyone else! W-Well, I helped too, ya know! I reached god tier! I made it through the game! I'm trying, Orcana! I'm trying to be better! IS THAT NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU?!"
And immediately after wailing those words, Lagola deeply regretted it.

It took Orcana a second to blink at the sudden outburst from Lagola. It then took another second for the shock (Lagola yelling?!) to register, and the broom to drop to the floor, creating a small crashing sound when it landed.
Orcana smirked, and to the shock of the two landdwellers, patted the hare troll's shoulder gentler than she normally would have. "Yeah! That what I'm talkin' 'bout! Get angry at me! You wan' respect? Well you gotta show me the anger! Show me you a troll Laggy!!"

Orcana wasn't the only one shocked. Aquila was just... sort of staring wide-eyed. He'd never seen Lagola get angry like that. Or yell like that. He was dumbfounded.
"...L? Holy shit..."

Lagola sniffled, doing her best to maintain her irate expression despite the tears. She was a bit shaken, to say the least. Sure, she had written some angry bouts on Trollian, but it was indeed rare that she expressed her pent-up frustration verbally.
She could've continued. Oh, she could've said so much more to the violetblood. But the fact that Orcana responded positively to Lagola's rant elicited a different reaction. She had anticipated further rage, not this sort of encouragement. That alone was jarring in and of itself, but truth be told... Lagola almost felt disappointed, as if her attempt to stand up for herself was just cute to Orcana.
She wanted Lagola to yell at her? Well, too bad. She wouldn't get it. Instead, Lagola just turned around and sat back down, resting her arms on her knees and her chin on her arms in a huff.

"You gon' pout like a lil' wriggler now guppy?"
Orcana tilted her head off to one side, hands on her hips. She actually liked seeing that angry side of "Laggy", the side that actually felt like a troll.
She considered stealing some of her own rage and putting it into Lagola... But that seemed silly.
"You kinda sexy when you angry," she said, patting Lagola's head. "Me likey that side of you. C'mon, don't it feel good? Let it all out gill! Get angry at me! If ya want me ta go awave then get angry about it!"

At Orcana's touch, Lagola curled tighter inward, eyes narrowing, practically pouting. Part of her was too timid to say anything else, but another part of her just didn't want to give Orcana the satisfaction. After all the abuse she put Lagola through, the bronzeblood felt she had no reason to please her, especially if it meant showing the side that Lagola firmly believed was not the real her.
