Kenny simply set the book aside and shrugged. Paul waited until the librarian had left, then he rested an elbow on the table and continued to massage the sore spot on his head. "Oy... Not, uh... Not exactly sure what just happened."

"You were sleep talking in Draconic and it sounded like you were getting threatened," Forsaken offered as she took her seat again.

"Oh... I was...?"
"Jesus, don't tell me you don't remember any of that," Kenny sighed.
Paul's lack of a response to that pretty much confirmed his cluelessness.
"Okay, okay. Forsaken, you said that he might've said a name at some point in there?"

"Vutesoth," She offered. "It could be a name or a city to be honest."

"...Huh." Paul quickly grabbed his notebook and wrote that down. He might not have been able to remember his dream, but he could bet that it would be important.
"Okay, dude. Let's not make these little naps a habit, alright?" Kenny sighed.
"Sorry... It's not like I'm doing this on purpose," Paul murmured.
"Whatever." Kenny then opened another one of his books and resumed his own studies.
Paul took a deep breath and looked up at Forsaken. "So... even if I can't remember it, did any of that mean anything to you?"

"I only heard your side. It sounded like some other force was threatening you via a dream weave or some sort of dream walking act," Forsaken offered.

"I see..." Paul gazed down at his books, looking oddly dejected. "Just more questions, I guess..."
Okay, this was getting too heavy. Paul was confused and worried, two things that he almost never felt. He was never into self-pity, and he certainly wasn't about to go down that route now, but now more than ever, he just wanted to know what was happening to him.
And he wasn't going to figure it out while he was this worked up.
"I think I need to take a walk."

"If you need it take it," she offered before turning back to her books.

"Yeah... Yeah, I'm just gonna..." Paul stared at his books for a moment, then he hastily stood up and started walking off. "I-I'll be back in a bit, Kenny."
"'Kay." Kenny watched Paul go, noting the anxious twitch in his tail. Then he resumed reading without a second thought.

Forsaken watched Paul leave. "Maybe getting involved with him wasn't my brightest idea...." She whispered weakly.

"Hey, it's not your fault," Kenny offered. "From what I've been told, he kinda abducted you. But... that aside, Paul's a good guy. If you don't wanna get mixed up in his weird dragon life, I'm sure he'll understand."

"Yes but I kind invited it.... And to be honest, weird dragon stuff is just another Friday night for me," she offered. "Hell I've died a few dozen times through out Paradox space."

Kenny inhaled sharply through his teeth. "Yeah, I know that feeling. But like I said, if you don't wanna get involved, you don't have to. You've got your own s*** to worry about. He knows that."

"I hear you loud and clear, Kenny," Forsaken offered. "But if I can help- I will. I've got more sins than I care to count for. Heck Hell won't take me and Heaven I know doesn't want me."

"Yeah, maybe let's not talk about dying and the places you go afterwards," Kenny hastily insisted, then sighed. "You know what, f*** it. Maybe I should just check these books out, catch up with Paul and walk back to the hotel together."
