It had been a rather busy day for all involved as Alex recalled. Now that everything had come and gone, Alex was able to go back to his place and signal Lizzie to open it back up with their decided password. They had decided to use the brand name of the products to which the horror terrors inspired on Earth. Cause let's face it. NO DEMON WANTS TO BE COMPARED TO SOMETHING CUTE AND CUDDLY. Even if it was slightly creepy as well...
With the way opened up again, Alex was able to introduce Erin to Lizzie and the two had been quick to hit it off, starting to talk for hours. Talking was also something Alex was able to do with Erin. During this talk, they exchanged knowledge. What had happened during their respective games, some of the problems they had encountered in the game, talking about the trolls and if they were genderbent too (Alex was somewhat terrified when he learned that Orcana's male self was somehow WORSE THEN THE ORIGINAL), How they had each gotten this far... And... Most importantly... Where would they go from here.
Erin made several blusterous gestures that she wanted to live on her own... But Alex could tell right off that even if she said it, she didn't really mean it. Being alone was the last thing she wanted. There was that remaining awkwardness... Living such close quarters would be odd. For a VARIETY of different reasons. What could they even consider each other? Two strangers so similar and yet so different... Thankfully Lizzie cut that nonsense out with a reasonable suggestion.
Twin sister and Twin brother...
It felt right honestly.
----------------------------------------
A few days passed after that.
Erin had made herself right at home, claiming one of the upstairs bed-rooms for herself and emptying out a ton of her junk into it all devil-may-care. It actually surprised Alex how similar her manners were to his own. The two bickered consistently, but they always made up after a while. Thank god they were both equally reasonable and both equally caring for friendships made. They didn't always agree, but hey, what good room-mates did? Besides, Lizzie was still a good kid at least.
As Alex did his best to keep the place in one piece and relatively clean though, he was not expecting to get a visit from Yang...
------------------------------------------
And well, long story short... Here they were now. The El-Grande Mall stretched out in front of the two, Alex currently in his god-tier Robes. "Yang, I keep telling you, I'M FINE. I've got plenty of clothes to last me a good long while." He blushed somewhat as the brawler continued dragging him along. "I mean, I've been surviving well enough on my alternate costumes and what not. I think I should be fine-." Getting in this argument with Yang reminded him a great deal of some of the arguments he had with his mother about having plenty of clothes on hands. Arguments he would often brush off with at least SOME amount of dismissal.

"And every time I've seen you, you've been in this hobo get up. God Tier or not, you of all people need to think about hygine! For Ruby's sake! You smell worse than Zwei after he went hunting with dad for a month!" Yang reminded the god tier as she dragged him by the hood. The huntress in training seemed highly annoyed. "What would your mother say?" It was unknown to her if that would hit a nerve as she continued to walk along.
She yanked his hood to cause a loud thump once more.

.... She felt the thief yank back and give her a dirty look.
...................
.... He looks down. "I'd... Appreciate it if you didn't bring my mom up again please..." He wanted to get angry, to be furious... But she didn't know..... With a sigh and a defeated expression, he crossed his arms. He suddenly felt a little more vulnerable. "Let's just... Get this over with huh?" He walked on ahead of her with that said stopping at one of the many maps the mall had to show people around.

Yang let go of the hood as it hit her. "Sorry...." she offered before following. "And this trip is on me. Okay?"

Alex turned to her as she joined him, the two now looking around for clothing stores. ".... You sure? I mean, they are my clothes after all. I mean, I appreciate the help, but it's not like I'm really hurting financially anyway." ... He looks to her, arms crossed before turning back to the map... There were a number of store names that came up that he recognized... Some from back home on Earth, others from TV Shows he had watched.

Yang nodded. "Yeah. I owe you that much," she offered with a smirk from under her yellow hoodie. "Looks like they got RWBY merch in. This place used to be littered with Homestuck merch."

Alex noted the new merch as well, grinning somewhat at the possibility. "Really now? Maybe I should buy a few of those~. Anything to show support right?" Okay, he was still very much against the idea since he was sure he had enough clothes... But... If he was stuck with getting new stuff, he might as well have fun with it right? "I wonder what kind of stuff they'll have... Let's go check out that swag shop over there~." He led the charge off, keeping ahead of Yang so she wouldn't have to drag him again. Dragging just hurt honestly, so anything to avoid that.

Yang smiled as she followed the guy. 'He's not to bad,' she thought as she followed to the mentioned shop.

When Yang arrived, she found Alex looking through the various novelty t-shirts currently available. A number of them were expensive however, so he'd likely need to only buy one or two. He could get more shirts at other stores. With a grin, he found a number of shirts each one colored a certain hue and prominently showing a member of team RWBY, such as red with an anime style bust of Ruby, White with a bust for Weiss, Black with a bust for Blake and Yellow with a bust for Yang herself. Along with those shirts however, Alex also seemed to catch sight of a red and black sleeveless shirt with a star insignia fixed prominently around the shoulder and along the chest, wrapping around to the other side. Anyone whom had watched an episode of Steven Universe would recognize the design from Garnet's uniform.
"Okay this DEFINITELY looks cool~." It looked like Alex had started calming down after the previous near breakdown, smiling somewhat as he looked through the novelty shirts up for grabs. "Still... I know I shouldn't waste too much of your money here. I'm gonna need a lot more then just shirts after all..." He looked to Yang, grinning mischievously. "Hey, look I wasn't lying before." He showed her one of the shirts with her face on it. "You guys are famous~."

Yang chuckled. "Yeah. I'm not surprised to be honest. My team is rather bad ass," she offered in reply as a navy blue shirt caught her eye. "Looks like there is some of the Homestuck merch still here too."

Alex held up a hand, kind of evening it out with a particular motion that Yang recognized as disdain. "Eeeeeeeeeeh.... I'd rather NOT have merch that reminds me that the game exists. It's bad enough our group is looking into the game just within the general neighborhood..." He puts the shirt back upon taking it from Yang, before continuing to look around. "Sides, We shouldn't shop too much from this store anyway. Sure the shirts are great novelties but their slightly more expensive then regular stuff. We should stop by an actual clothing shop after this-." He stops when he notices the shelves with all of the Pop! Vinyl figures, some of them the Crystal Gems, others were Ruby and the other members of Team RWBY. Still many more were Ponies from MLP and others were slightly bigger and in the visage of popular monsters in recent media, like the Songbird from Bioshock Infinite.
.... The Thief chuckled to himself, rubbing his chin... "Though not before I get my hands on a couple of these...." ... He then snaps his fingers. "Also, we should stop by a gaming store so I can see how much I've missed while me and Liz were traveling through the void and through dream bubbles. Maybe get a few games, maybe get a few new movies, oh and some new comics, manga and various reading material too... Don't worry, I'll cover THOSE myself-." The energy he seemed to suddenly gain was only building. Hmmm, so NOW he was excited with the prospect of a mall run?

"They're on the discount rack for a reason," she commented to his disdain. "Though I am guilty of owning the purple shirt... Todd got it for me as a Christmas gift." Yang looked over to the shelves and smiled. "I wonder if they have any of the Grimm...."
Yang wandered a little closer before looking through the pop figures.

Alex did indeed remember said purple shirt, prominent with a Rage player emblem. He almost thought it was actually somewhat fitting given Yang's capabilities and powers. Still, the fact that he made her feel bad about holding onto the shirt kind of got to him. As she went to the shelf with the vinyl figurines, he followed to look through them with her. "Well, I mean if you want to wear that shirt, then don't let me change your opinion of it. I have no problems with what other people wear." He shrugs a bit as he picks out the Songbird Vinyl figurine. "I guess I would just like things to go back to normal after all this is over... Or at least as normal as things can get around here. Maybe not give myself much reason to think about the game afterwards. At least until I've had some time to kinda mentally adjust to everything."
As he turns to put the Songbird back, he saw a vinyl figure in the back. "Oh hey look!" He pulls out the figurine revealing it to Yang. "A Nevermore Grimm Figurine."

Yang offered a soft smile. "It's a pj shirt anyways, Alex," she offered looking to the Nevermore. "I think I'm missing that one. Todd started getting me into collecting things.... I settled on vinyl figures after finding a Blake one at the Hot Topic in the area... You'd like Blake. You kinda remind me of her." The last part seemed odd coming from Yang but it did bring back memories of their first meeting.

OH IT WAS A PJ SHIRT. OOPS.
Alex blushed quite a bit at this as Yang continued talking. He figured it was time to listen since he had more then spoken way too much already. The girl went on about Todd turning her on to collecting things, particularly vinyl figurines such as the Nevermore one... Then she brought up an interesting comparison. One he wouldn't have otherwise thought about. A comparison between himself and Team RWBY's native cat faunus Blake Belladonna. He had to admit, that had been the first time he had heard that one. He was somewhat curious. "I remind you of Blake?"
